    Right, good to see that is sorted.

    7.30pm, Thursday night 

    Get the word out there folks. I reckon we should let the world of Twitter know too (especially for the Sky Poker fans who haven't made it through the forum turnstyles yet) - #ourowncupfinal will be tweeted soon. 

    Once the winner is crowned on Thursday night I will arrange for the prizes to be awarded to the top 4 players as well as pop some details up for the bonus prize for all who took part :)

    Congratulations, BigHawk! Sadly I couldn't rail the games myself but sounds like it might have been a classic cup final... :) GG to Jonjo75 too.

    I'll sort the prizes for our top four finishers - if the players concerned can PM me with the tournaments they'd like to play I'll get on the case. I am out of the office on Monday, so get those requests in today if you can! :)

    For the rest of you who played in the tourney, I'll be posting again with details of the bonus prize for all of you.

    Right, we'll go with 7.45pm on Tuesday. That means Craig can get some sleep and DTD will go unhindered.

    The magic of cup competitions comes from the big teams against the small. When those cold January weekends get lit up by a minnow knocking out a top flight team. The motivation level seems to close the skill gap for some of the teams - Wrexham played out of their skin to beat Arsenal, Mansfield did alright against Liverpool I suppose, etc. The little guys like gunning for the big boys.

    And so, we have this tournament for you. It's a bit of fun and hopefully will see the big boys rise to the challenge of the rest gunning for them as well as the minnows trying to David the Goliaths....

    The Giant Killer MTT - Tuesday 26th February, 7.45pm.

    - ALL 64 players who entered the Sky Poker Football Cup of Poker have been put into the Giant Killer MTT, a £200 Freeroll with a twist.

    - There is no prizepool in the traditional sense. All of that £200 is on your heads as bounties. Not any ordinary bounty though.

    - The bounties have been awarded based on the size of the team you chose. Football is such a subjective thing, so we have decided to use capacity size to decide which teams are bigger than others. Don't even get started on that argument, this is all fun! :)

    - If you knock a player out, you keep the ENTIRE 100% of that bounty prize. None of it goes on your own head. It means the minnows will go mental at the big guys, while the players representing the top sides will need to rise to the challenge.

    - Here is the complete list of players and the bounties they'll have on their heads this Tuesday:

    Yep, cheers Blandy....sounds like fun. For those who carnt make it or are away for any reason, it will be carnage when they are all in later on in the game.

    This could be the only tournament that Liverpool do well in this season!

    Look forward to this. Fair enough on the way the bounties are distributed, I was about to say that there are two club two divisions higher than Boston atm with smaller bounties than them but I understand why you have done it that way!

    i'll have to be careful with my bounty being so big or i could loose my chips quickly.
    the head prize should have been based on last time a trophy was won by the team then i'd have a rubbish bounty so feel safer. lol
