One of the dealers is dealing in the Omaha to tikay
He pipes up
"I am going to Barcelona next week to deal the big festival. Going by coach from London. We have an hour's stop in Lyon on the way but apart from that and fuel stops its straight through. How long does the coach journey take?"
Trevor Pearson is from Lincolnshire DTD Regular, and a lovely man finished in the top 3 of the UKIPT Main here in June You have 20 questions and I will only answer yes or no. Guess what he does for a living. Clue to start you of: works at home If you don't get it, I win Posted by SPT
With a level left to play in the PLO there are 22 left. Day 2 is 1pm tomorrow
In the main into the last fifteen minutes of the day with 22 of 68 remaining
The High Roller is still 4 handed and 40-50x big blinds deep. Have been watching it and they are four very good players and in the absence of coolers its is going to take a while
As its quiet on here tonight will put chip counts for the main up in the morning.
1b of the Main Event at 12pm, late registration until 9pm

"Hi All please remember Day 1c of the £500,000 guaranteed £1000 Sky Main Event is a Freezeout so if you want to try twice you need to play tomorrow as can only re enter following day, it will also help us out if you can play tomorrow as we expect to be full on Thursday so you will avoid being an alternate."
day 2 of the PLO at 1pm
and the final 10 seat GTD Mega sat into the Main event at 8pm tonight. £50 rebuy
Good to see the PLO numbers got up in the end. I expect 96 isn't too bad of a result for Rob and Simon after what could of been a bit of a red faced moment.
I do like PLO, but only played it live once, so no way was I going to buy in for a £500 event. Satellites in the future would be good.

Hi Charles,
Yes, a shame it fell so tantalisingly close to the Guarantee, but even so, 96 Entries for a £500 PLO is a staggering achievement. Not sure there has ever been a field that size in the UK for a PLO, I certainly can't recall one.
I played it, & loved every moment, but variance caught up with me.
The Chip Leader is a lovely guy, I've nicknamed him "The Mad Norweigan". Never played PLO before, but he was busting folks left right & centre.
He raised every single hand. In one memorable hand he busted THREE players.
He had opened UTG to 7,000 with the spannerish & 4 suited K-K-7-4. It then went POT, REPOT all-in, call-all in.
Back to Norway. He has 7,000 invested, & it is something like 85,000 to call!
He calls, obv, & the flop came K-7-4, Turn 4, ship the lot. Incred stuff.
At the age of 16 Cheltenham's Dan Carter wanted to be a Professional Golf Coach. By the age of 18 he was a fully sponsored Poker Professional
His biggest live cash to date is his 2nd place in the World Heads Up in Barcelona for over $80,000. On the live circuit only since 2005 he has a $40,000 cash at EPT Dortmund, a win at the Luton Christmas Cracker Pot limit event and a number of other final tables to his name
Online Dan won a Poker Stars $500k gtd for over $100,000.
Recently he had a spell living in the Netherlands, still grinds online for a living and plays golf off scratch (if i recall correctly)

He flopped a ten but did not improve
Nicholls is the chip leader with 800k of the 3m in play at 5-10k
He had JJ into Craig McCorkell's QQ to double him up and swap stacks
Down to 300k or 30x bb
He reshipped in the small blind over a min button raise from Dan Rudd and was called
Shallow Q-J, Rudd A-A. Aces held to double Rudd up
Down to 5x bb he shipped A-7 and lost
Approximately zero with 40 left
I fact not approximately. Exactly
600,000 knocking 3 players out on the same hand calling a raise, re-raise and pot shove with K-K-6-2
He flopped K-7-4-4-2

Enzo Gomez is chip leader in the main with 270,000 with 31 of 63 left after 7 levels
blinds 8-16k, and all playing very snugly with little blinds pressure
in the key hand he had J-6 against Rutter's Q-J on J-6-7 at which point both stacks were all in
7 on the turn to counterfeit the two pair and hand the pot to Rutter
He then took 4-4 against McCorkell's 9-9, no help, to depart
