In Response to Re: Tournament Leader Board 2015 (Charity Prop Bet, Get Involved!) : i am pleased that SoLack won last night as it added content to the charity webpage. i am even more pleased that SoLack didnt win the MBI but came second. Otherwise I would have been second instead. well played, paul. The title of the webpage is now changed to the title of your choosing, that is Sky Poker Players "Tournament Wins" Charity Shield. I have the profit for everyone. however, i choose not to post a complete table showing profit as it will reveal those who are not so profitable. the solution is to produce a top 6 or so. whatever is enough to allow people to avoid anything uncomfortable. i will keep that info. although your group of 18 is preety well the best players and seeing their profit would not be an issue. however, if you are running something next year and wish to expand your numbers i think it would be counterproductive to have a full table of profit and loss. nevertheless, it can be done. the tournaments are the 20 or so biggest games on Sky Poker every day. I don't look at the £1-£2 games, nor the games that have a guarantee under £500. this is quite deliberate. i want to data to reflect player performance. the numbers are more meaningful and interpretation more reliable when looking at the top 8,000 games every year. i could lower the limit and include the small tournaments but the figures might be distorted. as an extreme example, if i include freerolls you will know that the data will be quite unhelpful. the figures i have remain accurate and illustrate well who is playing the best poker. anyway, let me know your thoughts. happy to help, rob Posted by aussie09
Hi Rob, firstly congrats on winning the Speed BH. Well played!
I understand the reasons for not showing players losses and I agree, so I think showing the top 6 would be fine (or 8 even) so we can see who's in contention.
I think your selection criteria is spot on, for Sky players in general, however from the perspective of the TLB Charity comp, I feel that it should be total profit from all scheduled tournaments. So I was wondering if you could do that for the top 8 only in the TLB charity comp.
Hi Rob, just one other thought about the title: Perhaps in addition to the figures at the bottom we could highlight the total pledged in the title too.
For Example:
Sky Poker Players "Tournament Wins" Charity Shield (£3,886 Pledged so far)
3rd quarter TLB standings updated on the opening post. Gareth Smith is the new leader in a dog fight with Matt Bates, the lead having swapped over several times during the last month.
Chris Cunliffe still leads the "Tournament Wins" side event, with Matt Bates, Andy Young and David Watkin all in pursuit.
With Punta Cuna packages and UKOPS just around the corner it's going to be an interesting few months as the TLB Competition approaches it's conclusion.

Hi Aussie and fellow Competitors, FYI, this is the agreement regarding UKOPS: (Cut and Paste from opening post(In Red)
Cheers, Graham
For UKOPS the same point system applies. For clarification, any £55 UKOPS BH side events, will also be worth 2 points, although £55 side events, that are not Bounty Hunters carry no points.

Wow, great result again Chris, and the additional tenner means we are only £4 of the £4K mark!
I am happy to say we have now passed the £4K mark!
My son Gary Carter (Limp2Lose) succeeded where I have failed all year, by taking down todays main event, the Roller no less! A remarkable achievement really, as he only goes in it, if he manages to satellite in.
His tenner from this win takes us to £4,006 pledged.
Outstanding performance son, great to rail you and watch you smash it on the final table! The improvement and discipline in your game is commendable, and now results are beginning to reflect that.
Three wins out of the last four days.... so much charity to this but not quite so much charity to your final table opponents, chris. well played, yet again.
