So had an absolutely mint weekend and had the best possible start to the month. Played a few 50nl tables but still mostly 20-30nl. Who would have thought you could make such a decent amount of profit at these stakes? Already hit target for the month in the first 4 days which is insane so going to aim towards 2k profit for the month. Hopefully the run continues.

Yeah your probably right but still possible to make a decent amount of profit playing part time on low stakes.

So had an absolute shocker of a weekend. Played some 100nl and got asbolutely tortured. The suckouts were unbelievable to the point I was ready to quit. I'll stop here before I go on a big rant and don't want to be one of them people that complain about bad beats all the time, I understand its part of the game but still... Don't think I played bad just was completely on the wrong side of luck..Anyways im gutted, just when it was going well that had to happen. Withdrew my balance for now, going to give poker a rest for a bit *sigh*

Fair amount of irony as I often vow that I'm never going to play again after bad nightsi, but here goes.

Grim hands, yes. Sympathy does you no good though.

Thing is, as you know, you will in the long term win with these hands mostly. Hurts like fxxk at the time but that's the game.

What does withdrawing achieve? (I can understand it if you're going to tilt more at that moment)

You'll get it back soon enough as you're a great winning player.

A few weeks back I lost £750 in a night. Weirdly enough I wasn't too down about it. It was 50/1 with a max buy in of £500z so I'd only really lost 1 and a half but ins in effect.

I've got that back now, plus some. You'll do the same

Head down and get back to it I suggest

Disappointing end to the month after such a good start but looking forward to a new start with a new month. I'm away most of August so don't know how much volume I'll be able to put in. Looks like it will be another month without prio unfortunately.

Again a week full of ups and downs, had the account up to around £1500 at one point but a mix of play bad and run bad means i've ended up down. Changed the diary slightly as want to seperate cash profit to bonus profit
