In Response to Re: Sky Poker £1m GTD UKPC Final Day : An Andrew Mohican would be FAB .......but sadly impossible. Have you seen Andrews hairline ? .....saying that £210K buys you a lot of hair. Posted by MISTY4ME

Nail biting stuff indeed. Will there be a break when it gets to FT? Posted by IrishRose
Hi Rose,
Yes, there will be a break, probably 45 to 60 minutes before they resume.
They all have to move across to the feature table, which is a posh, Sunday best affair, the chips have to be counted, checked & coloured up, & I expect there'll be a group photo & maybe some announcements, "and in seat 6, bda de da" sort of thing. They may have some pre-Final dinner, too.
Oddly, most players (& us...) would prefer to just get on with it, get the job done, & go home.

I need them to have a break lol - getting RSI from clicking refresh for new news. Kids and hubby would like to be fed at some point - so if break I should be able to manage it.
Just don't go letting either Elderly Maniac or Folically Challenged Mohican exit the tables just to let my kids get fed
EM just told me he has never had a poker day like this in his life, so many swings & swongs, he had to go outside & get some fresh air just now to clear his head.
The adrenalin is taking over, too - unsurprisingly - & he's sort of hyper.

You have kids? Good grief, did not think you were old enough.

EM has played himself back up to nearly 4 milly, with the average now just under 5 milly.
Couple of shorties around, too.

Mohican is wearing the biggest wristwatch you ever saw, it's like a Grandfather clock on a strap.
He qualified for £16, & it's already his biggest win ever.
He told me "this is why recreational players play poker, for days like this". Too right.
EM just told me he has never had a poker day like this in his life, so many swings & swongs, he had to go outside & get some fresh air just now to clear his head.

And why not?
Love poker.
