In Response to Re: Sky Poker £1m GTD UKPC Final Day : I desperately want Mohican to win. He has been playing for such a long time and has waited so patiently for a day like this. A bit of Sky Poker history for you all - Mohican was the first player I ever knocked out of a tournament, back at an old SPT one-dayer in Luton in early 2010. He's been a dear friend ever since and he deserves this so much. Posted by Bromley023
Have to agree there mate Carls a top man and deserves his shot.funking for the old fella as well
EM is really trying to win this, he is making things happen, or trying to, rather than waiting for decent hands.
He just won a nice pot by jamming on the river & setting a Shortie all-in. 5 minutes of dwelling eventually produced a fold, & EM mucked his hand quickly & with, it seemed to me, a huge sigh of relief.
EM is playing real good poker here. He might over stretch, we shall see, but he's trying his heart out.
I have a "desk" (poker table) right at the back, on the top tier, as it has power sockets etc, & Tighty is sitting right by the table, & we are running back & forth, passing notes to each other like a baton in a relay race.

Ugh.
At these blinds, crash helmets on, heave-ho incoming.
Mohican is looking a bit down, he's still thinking about that monster pot that slid the wrong way.
It's gone, he can still win this, no good reflecting on what might have been.
Mo-he-can win it.
PS - It's SO easy playing a final from the Rail.
We are not ideally situated here.
