When you have got the remaining 2 correct, why not try this one. It is a toughie unless you're a cricket nut, a quiz fiend or a google cheat ha ha!!

On June 5th 1980 at Trent Bridge, England played the West Indies in a test match. What i want to know is: What "FIRST" in test cricket happened in this match?

    East Stirlingshire wraps it up.

Have a go at this one that a friend threw at me......

Which (now retired) International player scored 8 goals in his native country before being signed by a top EPL club. At this club, he only managed to find the net once before he was sold on to another big European club where he never scored a single goal, although he did score for his country during this spell.
He then returned to the Premiership, where again he only managed to score one goal.
The player was then offloaded to his 3rd (and final) Premiership club, where once again he drew a blank in front of goal.

    WHO WAS IT!!!!???

Ok, have not really got a clue!!

But sort of remember years ago an England batsman getting given out after the ball got stuck, in his shirt, I think!
The keeper retrieved it, then appealed, was it Trescothick meybe, or am I making it up to myself, lol

Or..... how about referring to the 4th umpire ,on screen , more likley i think!!

err cricket or football? wording leans me to cricket... quick guess[s]... Boycott or Knott?
  • edited July 2010
I don't get the finer points of cricket, so when it says "First Class" appearances, I was thinking about Football and being awarded an 8 or 9 out of 10 in the Sunday Sport :0(
