The reason people leave sky poker, just like ANY of the other poker sites is because :- When they lose money - they blame everything/everyone else except themselves (thats called human nature), its the software, its playing against donks, its a fix, the list is endless. Apart from three factors we all have an equal chance of winning - 1) the players skill level, 2)the players mental attitude to downswings, and 3) luck Its how we adapt our play to the first one, change our mindset to the second one, and how we must realise that no matter how good your hole cards are, your never really that far away from getting beat, thats what players forget, they think if they get QQ,KK,AA,AK they are going to win a pot load of money, but as we know (and if you dont, you had better learn fast) that just isn't the case. The best bit of advice i can give is - always play with the attitude that if you lose your buy in it doesnt matter, if it does, then you are playing beyond your means and thats when losses hurt, and most importantly of all - play for enjoyment, if you aint enjoying it, then dont play. just to re-emphasise this the following are odds for a given hand against x random hands
AA 85% vs 1, 72%vs 2, 61% vs 3 KK 78% vs 1, 63%vs 2, 54% vs 3 QQ 74% vs 1, 55%vs 2, 46% vs 3 AK 65% vs 1, 48%vs 2, 38% vs 3 AQ 63% vs 1, 42%vs 2, 33% vs 3
which may be surprising to some people. These are good starting hands but at the end of the day all you have is a pair.
As long as the other person or persons in the hand have outs to hit chances are on occassions they will hit them. Sometimes it seems to happen more than youd like but sooner or later your luck will turn. Hopefully sooner.
can you show 1 or two hands that you hsve outdrawn you opponant while going in behind - and please please dont say there are NONE, cos that just wouldnt be true i think.
A lot of people posting their hands and moaning but a lot of the time your playing your hands wrong, just because you have KK/QQ doesnt mean your going to win, you have to be prepared to fold them and your not, its poker.
why would you just flat there? seriously well suprised how much your up, that is sort of a compliment but the way you play some hands you deserve to be strung up

Seriously........why don't u name drop someone who u have ACTUALLY helped cos it isnt me
The title of this thread is misleading, it should be called 'the reason people get annoyed and stay at Sky Poker'.
Anyway, I like this thread, mainly because it's funny that so many people reply thinking this guy is actually being serious. DJ is a winning player (scope him) who's just having a laugh, off course his cards hold up just as often as everybody else, and yes, he sucks out when dominated every now and then, like we all do. DJ's favourite way of letting off steam when he suffers a bad beat is to come and post it here, that's a much better than hurling a load of chatbox insults, smashing up his laptop, or actually going ahead and leaving to go to another site. Keep 'em coming DJ.
