The Graduate is on ITV3 11.20pm Saturday. This classic comedy drama is a great film Starring Dustin Hoffman and Anne Bancroft. For those that dont know its about a young man that as an affair with an older woman then falls in love with her daughter.

Not the type of film I would normally watch and after about 15mins I could have easily have turned it off but it came more and more gripping as it went along. In the end I thought it was a very good film! Thanks for the tip off!

Think bout the same peiod as 'ice cold in alex', but much grittier...'.The Hill.'..set in a desert army prison, with a young Sean Connery & Roy Kinnear, lots of other great 60.s actors you will recognise, including our Uk Sidney Poitier 'type' of the era, don't know his name but a great act by all!!! Defo must see!!

Great list, Withnail & I, cult classic.....Agree 'Pulp', and no-one mentioned 'Reservior Dogs' yet. Another not mentioned, only slightly different, haha, but i did love Dr Zhivago, with the beatiful Julie Christie, see 'Don't look now' to see how beautiful, lucky old Donald Sutherland!!!

Have to 1000% endorse the watching of "The Hill". Connery is fantastic in this film. A lot of my friends were put off it being in Black & White but as with 12 Angry Men this is a Golden Oldie that should be seen by all budding film buffs
