Dan finds a small pair & has picked up the Blinds.
On a 9 handed table, that's crucial, as it pays the rent for another orbit, & in that time, it gives him the chance to pick up something decent to go to war with, or, maybe, give it the old heave-ho.
I'd swap with him now & be in my element, this IS the fun bit.

i agree, playing<15 bigs is so much fun, playing 15-25 is a bit nasty in the early stages. great work tikay. how far is your laptop from dans table? how far have you ran/walked today?
In Response to Re: Dan Brown, TOTAL PLAYER, Part 2. GUKPT Coventry Live Update. : Er, is it just me or is that bad pre-flop play from Dan's opponent? Very inlucky Dan. K-10. Absolute shocker. I think the amount of chips you have is largely irrelevent as long as you've got enough to work with because I still think you'll win the tourney. Top reporting Tikay, btw. Posted by RICHORFORD
Yes very bad play should have got at least one more bet out of Dan......

Yup, it's what poker is about for me - short, & "looking for spots", nothing better.
My lappie is now just 2 Tables distant from Dan, so not far to walk, & compared to The Rio in Vegas, where I reckon I walk 10 miles per day - it must be half a mile from the Room to the Cardroom alone! - it's a doddle.
By the bye, I loved that Hi-Lo Cash Game we had last night, & I'm itching to do it again! Jeez, I love Hi-Lo. Weird thing is, Llamaman always seeems to somehow get a huge stack, that boy sure has some game.
COME ON DAN!! Patience my man!! TBF he probably has the best short stack player in the World to give him advice in you gramps so he will be ok!! P.S How is Mr Muscles and Will doing - when you have time ofc Posted by dylan12
Will has about 11,000 - so he's almost in shove territory, too.
Mr Muscles - The Boy Nuttall I assume - is caked up in the £100, with about 18,000. I don't know the average in that one - the Plasma has broken down it seems - but I think he's way north of average.
Not a headline you see in a poker Live Update every day, but George Geary just fell off his chair, & there was an almighty clatter of glasses & beer bottles & suchlike, & the whole cardroom looked across to see what the commotion was.
He seems to be OK, if a little distressed - he's not a young man, & he was top side of 60 when I first began playing with him in Napoleons Sheffield a dozen years ago. I do hope he's OK, he's a feisty flakey old so & so, but he's straight as a die, & I like him very much.
He was as tight a player as I ever knew, but he always ran a bluff & showed it early doors. "advertising, my son, it's pricesless" he used to say. The old boys can dance too, you know.
google, by the bye, if you go to their Home Page, are commemorating the 30th Birthday of Pac-Man. My oh my, computer games have changed, eh? Posted by Tikay10
And if you go there and wait a few seconds you can play Pacman on the google name!
The Blinds have gone through Dan, still no action. Albert is changing the Table Dynamic by limping in every hand, which, in a way, is good, as it'll mean he calls when Dan eventually shoves.

Lots of feel good factor sent Dan xxxx

I feel a 2xUp coming on.
We are all there with you hunni

30 minutes left at 300-600/50, & Dan is on 7,000. The next Level is 400/800/75, so expect some shoveage before then.
I bet when he shoves that Dear Albert will be the one to give him action. Albert taketh away, Albert giveth.
Awwww..bless...hope very much that you haven`t` hurt yourself George xxxx
Dan has 6,200, & is due to pay the Dylan Blind in five hands time........
86 left here, with the average 25,000 ish.
Thanks for all these updates - and yes "Mr Muscles" was Norman Nuttall indeed :0
I am on a 2p/4p Hi/Lo Omaha table - all because of this thread - don't want to play poker - only listen to these updates - keep em coming gramps!!
Dan just passed pre, UTG, so he now has to pay the Blinds, so that's another 900 + antes about to go off his 6,100 stack.
The time is near.....
The Blinds have gone through Dan, still no action. Albert is changing the Table Dynamic by limping in every hand, which, in a way, is good, as it'll mean he calls when Dan eventually shoves.
A mid-position limper sets it up for Dan to shove on the button for his 5,000, & he, inevitably, gets looked up by the limper.
Limper shows 9c - 10c.
Dan shows 4c-6c.
Board goes.....
A-5-9.
Turn 2 - so a gutshot 3, or a 4 or 6 needed.
River 9 - & it is ALL OVER.
More soon, but 2 out of 3 ain't bad, so Vegas here we come.
Big kiss from Candi George X
Good luck Dan..from all of your friends here in the Sky Community! xxxx
Thanks Tikay..brilliant updates! xxxxx
Awww unlucky Dan..but you`re still our man! xxxxx
