did anyone ever find out what would happen if every player went all in on the first hand of a double your money?

Say one person won, what dictates who cashes out of the other 5?

P.S im very bored avoiding doing actual work!!

Hi m8

I beleive they did try it, but had a player in the game that didnt know what was going on, they tried again, and think they got an answer, but were on about tryng again at some point (cant remember outcome sigh)

The only way it could be resoved is if the 3 best hands won the money! But in reallity that should never arise as if their are 4 already all-in the last 2 are never going to call even with big slick.

I'm really glad that you brought this up Dan. I feel that it's very important.

The people who get their money in last get paid.
This just goes to show that it's not always best to get your money in first.   :-)

Yes yes.. I was involved in this.. It was VERY scientific and stuff.

As Vince says.. the last 2 people to get there chips in got paid as well as the winner of the hand.

Obviously as a test case we should try this on a £100 DYM as well as our little 30p one.. ANY TAKERS????

Ps.. Just reread the old thread and it made me giggle! Poor Bland! Haven't seen him since.. He must still be wondering aroundin Area 51 lol

It has not be shown that when all 6 players go all in the last to get their money in win.

Can I suggest we do this on a Turbo DYM, so it doesn't take so long?

Shall we try it again.. at 2pm.. on a 30p 6 seat DYM and make sure it's NLH (I managed rather cleverly to open a PL last time and had no idea why I couldn't All-in!)

The £100 DYMs won't fill up as quick as the 30p ones so u wont get a Bland player sitting in.

Looking at Mere's link, Id never seen the experiment before.  What was my TP play that was mentioned?
