Dear Mr Hogg A female friend of mine has a horrible addiction to WC re-buys. She also has a tendency to go for broke with A-J thinking it is "the nutz" when everyone knows "J-3" is the nutz. WWHD??

Dear Mr Hogg, As a Scotsman should I be wishing England well in the match against Slovenia and risk losing all respect and dignity i used to have? WW (a-scottish) HD

I like Scotland and wish them well when they play World Cup Finals football...

Well, if i was alive at the time i would have done

  • edited June 2010
hmmmmm. does that mean you weren't alive in 1998 when Scotland played in France.......If so, this means you are under 12 years of age and shouldn't really be playing poker on this site.
Should i report this to the authorities??? WWHD?

In Response to Re: WWHD? : Hi Cookie, Firstly, well done on that brill Primo win and your great recent results. Feel free to donk your cash in my direction:) Now, your question.. I believe that in some companies and organisations, they have meetings about having meetings about having meetings. I.E they are arranged specifically to make self-important middle managers look like they are actually doing some work, when in fact they use it as an excuse to get the staff canteen to deliver some coffee and volauvonts. However, assuming this is a proper important meeting, i would obviously not play pokerage and would do some preparation. Once a boy scout always a boy scout and when you have the phrase "be prepared" engraved in your brain, this is much better than "winging it", even if "winging it" is kind of fun sometimes:) Good Luck Hoggers

I'm playing TommyD in Take-On-Tikay. We both have very big stacks.
I flop the nut flush draw, a double gut-shot and an overcard to the board.
I reckon that I am 60/40 favourite but I know that TommyD is unlikely to back down.
    He bets out, WWHD?

Peel one off   (a turn card that is)

and then reassess on the turn.

As you have position it doesn't make much sense to raise unless you think you can get him to fold and take it down without having to hit. just flat.

Hi, Greggers, heres one for ya,--- How do we get beginners and low stakes players to realise that the 2.20 deep stacks are the best place to start playing, and the best value for low stakes players?

    Ban Bounty Hunters

    Ban Roulette

    Ban Velocity

    Ban rebuys

Ban anything that doesnt involve enforced folding for the first 12 levels

Tell them that tikay, rich and LML are playing in every game, even they arent.

Sing them a song in the chatbox.

And seriously, you are right, but deepstacks don't suit everyone, and we can't force everyone to play proper poker. Some people thrive on bingo and donkaments, and if they enjoy that then who are we to stop them.

However, we can attempt to eductate but they wont listen unless there are bounties on heads. So i suggest a £2.20 Bounty Hunter Rebuy Deepstack, on the hour every hour! What we don't tell em is that Bounties and rebuys are there for the first level only!!!! That ought to reel em in. Genius!:)

Wouldn't life be wonderful if new players to Sky learnt the art of big folds rather than cross fingers and gamble that donkey hunters promote?!?

Tottenham signings Hoggers...........who would u like to see at the lane?

I really hope that we get Joe Cole

I have always admired his skill, and i think it would be a disaster not to sign him at a stage in his career where he still has a couple of years to blossom, and he is available on a free!

The most important signings are Modric, Defoe and Lennon. Yes, i know we already have them, but we MUST keep all three and not be bullied by redic bids from any of the "BIGGER" clubs.

I don't think we need anyone else really, i'm pretty happy with the squad and that we should challenge for the title this year. (this is not a joke)

How about 5000 chips, rebuys on the first level, bounties on the second level, third level lasting one minute, fourth level everyone only gets one chip, fifth level, Richard and lisa sit at every table, sixth level, all in every hand, seventh level, no folding till the river, eighth level, compulsory chat box abuse, then start again?

start at the 19th Hole and go backwards but stay at the 19th Hole for 2 and a half hours first:) or maybe 3 depending on if there are penalties... Oh god i hope not!!
  • edited June 2010
Thanks hoggers have spoken to the team and we are taking your advice without the backwards bit.

We will be spending all day in the 19th.

  • edited June 2010
Well we started at the 19th full of hope ended up stumbling around (bit like 11 others i could mention)
and i think we have found 897 new England Mangers

Should i forward these names to the FA?

Now very drunk nothing to show for it cant wait for hangover in morning

    Hi Squarkers,

I believe i got the advice wrong this time, i think that you should have played golf instead of wasting 2 hours of your life watching that rubbish!

I apologise for my error in judgement.

Are the 897 managers called Roy Hodgson? If so, forward their CV's to the FA so quick innit.

I must stop ending sentences with "innit", tikay doesn't like it.

    Innit innit innit:)

i think its -ev to watch that kind of stuff and play poker...

but, it is +ev to watch rich and tikay present the club or mastercash, while playing poker...

    Would you care to elaborate?

Is it like "Yin and Yang"? Does watching those two on TV make you play better?

I can't explain it Mere, just watching those two makes me win more...

The only time it is -ev is when tikay's manbag makes an appearance, again, inexplicable.

WWHD if Harry Redknapp becomes England Manager? If he does become England Manager - who would you like to replace him?
  • edited June 2010
I believe that Tikay is 6/4 to replace Harry Redknapp as England manager.
