In Response to Re: WSOP Live Update - 3 go into 3. GL to Guy, Sue, & Tony! : Yup, we have him booked for the 2nd break today. He's a friend from a long way back, he used to be a Luton regular, & we've shared many an overseas trip, & he's always given me great interviews. Posted by Tikay10
Yh I chatted to him quite a bit a few months ago in Nottingham during the UKIPT there. He's a very genuine and down to earth kind of guy; which, when compared to the ego and arrogance displayed by a lot of players in this industry, is quite refreshing.
Videos are up for all the guys playing today plus a little catch up with Dan. No bullying me today im not well and it has nothing to do with a late night out in Vegas ha ha
Sue, meanwhile, set a player all-in. She had A-Q of diamonds, he had Jacks. Now, you'd think that J-J man binking his Jack would be a BAD thing for Sue. And you'd be right. Unless, that is, that J was accompanied by an 8, a 9, & a Ten.........which it was. Giving Sue a straight. Sue - 144,000. Posted by Tikay10

Was Neil Channing wearing that white dressing gown again and the belt slipped off and it opened up. No wonder you're feeling unwell. ;-)

It's now 3.40pm Vegas, so nearly 3 hours (net of breaks etc) into Day Three.
So far, all our Fleet is present & correct.
Gut is still marooned in the upper thirties, he can't find a spot, but patience is his long-suit. Jenifer Harman, who was on his table, has now exited.
Sue is on about 130k, nothing to report there, & she is in no danger. Her Table is by the spectator rail, & hubbie Dave has railed her from start to finish. I gather he got in a bit of Trub from the Dealer for talking to her too much. As if! Take no notice Dave, Rail the lady!
Tony, meanwhile, is up to 95,000, & for the first time in three days, starting to feel settled & comfortable. Tony has plenty of game in him, & his moment in poker has arrived. He'll end the day Busto, or Biggo, imo. He always said he's here to win it, so the sparks might fly soon.
There currently, not 1, not 2, but 3 Mizrachi's in the top 100. They all have over 260K chips!!! Are they all related? Posted by GREGHOGG
Possibly, depends on their Christian names!
Wiki says this, under "The Grinders's" page (Michael).
Mizrachi was born in Miami, Florida.[3] He is the younger brother of Robert Mizrachi who has numerous WSOP and WPT finishes to his own name. He has a twin brother Eric Mizrachi (also a poker player)

yes it appears they are related! how amazing, although Eric has slipped back to 122k. Michael is on 260k and Robert on 336k!
Could be a fantastic week in the Mizrachi household!

Tony Stroud just lost a big lump in a stonker. He had 8-8 on a flop of 8-4-2. Nice. Villain was in with 7-5, & binked a 5 on the Turn to keep interested. The rivered 6 was a brute..... Tony is now down to 30k. His chips will be on wheels now, I fancy, as he makes them VERY mobile! Posted by Tikay10
Awww ul Tony, but you know how to come back! xxx Good luck

With 1 hour & 45 minutes played so far today.......
Guy is still on 38k, he has not found any "spots" yet, though he has been joined on his Table by Jenifer Harman. Which is a nice thing.
Tony is now gaining momentum though - he's up to 70k, & is quite comfortable.
Sue, meanwhile, set a player all-in. She had A-Q of diamonds, he had Jacks.
Now, you'd think that J-J man binking his Jack would be a BAD thing for Sue.

Sue - 144,000.
In Sue's big hand, her A-Q v J-J, the Board came......
J-T-5-9 ("well done" said Sue) -8 - Booooooooooom!

4pm Vegas.
Level 11 is 30 minutes old, Blinds are 800/1,600/200. 1,980 players remain in.
Guy 36,000
Tony - 91,000
Sue - 150,000. She's busted another shortie!
Some sundry chip counts will now start appearing on my Twitter Page.
Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! Great news! You go get em` Guy Tony and Sue! xxx May the Poker Gods continue to shine on you all xxx
Nice blog.
Very well done team.
We just interviewed J P Kelly during the mid-Level Break. Attila will have it uploaded shortly.
We again went to interview Annie Duke, & again, we got "deferred". Ho hum.
Tony Stroud just lost a big lump in a stonker.
He had 8-8 on a flop of 8-4-2. Nice.
Villain was in with 7-5, & binked a 5 on the Turn to keep interested. The rivered 6 was a brute.....

We are now halfway through Day Three, with 2 full levels now completed.
Sue has 123k, after getting off Big v Big.
Tony is clawing his way back after that brutal outdraw, he has 42k.
Guy found his first playable hand of the whole day - 9-9 - & got it all-in v the Lisa, & his hand held, so he's now up to 46k.
Kara Scott, meanwhile, has departed.
Blinds have just increased to 1,000/2,000/300, so the "per orbit" cost is now 5,700.
The already hasty pace of Exits will now increase.
There are 1,674 players remaining.
FWIW, there are some 219,570,000 chips in play, & one player will end up with the lot. MBN.
The average stack right now is about 131,000. That's about 65xBB. What a structure this Tourney has!
