There is a bug with the re-buy tournaments, You can only rebuy once , when under the threshold, there after you can only rebuy when you have no chips. The techies are working on this.
In Response to Re: Qualify for the SPT final! And watch Orford crash and burn! : Glad you got the refunds Wynne and I'm sure they'll be on to that problem now that you've reported it. Posted by RICHORFORD
Well I don't know whether to laugh or cry... sara36dd08 58000 1 Entry to £25,000 SPT Final RAKE007 0 2 Entry to £25,000 SPT Final RICHORFORD 0 3 £198 So- a good result 3 out of 29. Cashing for £200. But it was on Sky's account and so it's there money now! And I bubbled on qualification! Congrats though to sara36dd and rake007. But a good starting point in my campaign. I'll give it another bash tomorrow night. Cheers for the support and railing everyone and see you tomorrow! Posted by RICHORFORD
In Response to Re: Qualify for the SPT final! And watch Orford crash and burn! : Congrats Rich. Is that your biggest ever win? Posted by Tikay10
You cheeky little X%£^"*^£!
I won the Open you know! For a grand! And I also recently came second in a tournament called Take On Tikay. Although there wasn't much Tikay to take on after level 2!
Very well done Rich you've got some heart mate I will say that. To try and qualify through the sats yourself even though you have every chance of beng given a seat anyway was impressive enough I thought. Then to be the bubble and brush off the fact that you don't even get to keep the money as it was Sky's account and in the same breath say "I'll try again tomorrow" is some going mate. I think they should call you Mr SkyPoker lol, well done mate. JC EDIT: Also, I think you should get Sky to fund the difference and buy you in directly now mate, that's what I'd be asking for lol. Cheers John. Well, everybody loves a trier- just ask Tikay, he finds me extremely trying...
In Response to Re: Qualify for the SPT final! And watch Orford crash and burn! : Worse than that, in fact. He supports The Baggies, the farcical WBA? Posted by Tikay10
OI!!!!! Treading on very thin ice there, Gramps!
It takes a very strong mental attitude (or maybe we are just mental!) to be a Baggies fan!!!!!!
In Response to Re: Qualify for the SPT final! And watch Orford crash and burn! : The original starting roll or the starting roll after this unfortunate incident? Posted by Machka
Lol Aaron- yes, unfortunately it was AFTER that incident.
I'm effectively down by my original pull-up now though. Next mission- to get it all back...for the company. Yes, that makes me slightly insane doesn't it?
Ty Baz. OK so tonight's £5.20 did not go according to plan- I lasted 2 and a half hours, and it's not often I can say that but finished 5 off the qualifying spots.
So next up- it's the 9.30 semi. I'm 'treating myself' to the £24 buy-in coz I won £200 yesterday so I can just about justify it.
May need to stick to the rebuys after this though...
Well Rich you went out about same time as Phil12. He was on my table. I was short stack on table and went down as low as 400 chips. Double up and doubled up and doubled up........became chip leader. I n lat 11 and had system crash , came back after about 5 mins, was 5th out of 7 and finished 7th. Now have finished 12th out of 60 and 7th out of 50, like I think I have peaked. Do we keep trying?

Yeah, I saw Phil finished just one place above me.
7th is a decent result mate. Keep going- you've got to get to Nottingham- it wouldn't be the same without you!
In Response to Re: Qualify for the SPT final! And watch Orford crash and burn! : Top quality Gavin. Great feeling when you win a biggie! See you at Nottingham for a shot at the £25K prize pool! Posted by RICHORFORD
It's my third night in a row of attempting to qualify for the SPT final.
Once again I'm starting with the £5.20 rebuy at 7.35pm and then buying into the 9.30 semi if I fail to satellite in.
Hope to see you all again this evening.
And if you haven't had a go yet at qualifying, what are you waiting for? It's a great poker weekend away where you make new friends and you'll be in with a chance of winning some serious dough!

Good luck Rich, you know what they say "If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try again" lol

Grab a seat while you can- could be a classic!
Not quite as good as last night's 3rd out of 29.
But hey, the numbers are going up for the SPT semis day by day!
As for me, I think I might have peaked on Day One...
Ooooooooooooo!
Hark at her!
