    Hi all All seats contribute to the prize pool Presently 125 are on sale via satellites and 5 via the live satellite That leaves 20, which we keep aside for Presenters and, if we decide to go this route, celebrity or professional guests However Sky Poker puts the money for these seats into the prize pool, so yes its..if sold out...£15,000 In reality very few of the extra 20 seats will be used in this way. If there is player demand for the seats then they'll be realised into "last chance to qualify" satellites in the days before the event so that's a call we make in the next ten days or so The "complimentary" seats should be regarded as part of the Tour budget as the cost needs to be covered by the SPT.

    73 qualified now!

    I find it quite hard to C & P the list of Qualifiers onto here, but maybe SPT Rich will oblige later today, when he's back Online.

    SPT Rich is also a central & irreplaceable cog in APAT, & he's been up at Bolton all weekend, helping to run the APAT Event up there, which was a two-day affair, so I guess he's trundling down the M6 now towards Bedfordshire. The M6 on a Monday, rather he then me.....I was supposed to be up there, too, but Sky gave me both live Shows over the weekend, & work comes first. Especially when the Presenters are Lisa & Sarah......

    I am having trouble posting the names too but anyway......


    I met someone at the weekend who has spent £180 trying to qualify. £180 Gross that is, with bubble cashes returning about £100

    Keep at it sir, you'll get there. Even if you need a second mortgage to do it

    Can anyone "beat" this unwelcome statistic?

    Yup, I'll be there. The Presenters playing the Main Event, & later PTP Sit & Go's, are Rich "I Won The Open & Don't you forget it" Orford, & Ed "Beefcake" Giddens, fresh from his Chippendales Tour.

    If you get a chance, in the early hours of Sunday, try & play in, or even watch, the Patented Tighty Sit & Go's. Poker like you've never seen, & achingly hilarious.

    I will be playing whatever's available, until we get thrown out at dawn on Sunday morning, but I won't be playing until the Main Event has concluded, & the Presentation & Photos have all been done, & I'll also have a bit of TV work to wrap up after the Event.

     Not many people have played live before who play in these. These games are all about having fun and the banter, its not as 'serious' as most live poker games (although there is actually quite alot of money to be won)

     Get yourself on one of the taster tables when you get there, they will run through the basics of playing live.... most important rule though is ... HAVE FUN

    Cheers Flash, I'm proper excited but know I'm going to be a shaking mess on the day. :) You should've seen me having a full blown panic attack when the bubble was about to burst in the semi last night.

    The Mrs wants to come up and support me, but I'm concerned she'll get bored. Anybody else bringing WAGs for cheerleading duties?

    Mate, didn't even know they let people from Rugely play poker, let alone attend live events where they might come into contact with other people ;)

    Anyway it is proper swin flu I've been rough as a dogs back end since Friday and am ploughing my way through a pack of tamiflu.

    Well done last night though, it was just as tense for me, I was wanting you to qualify so much I could hardly breathe come final table time.

     I'm bringing my mrs, (well she wanted to come for some reason) any excuse to get away from the kids i think LOL ... she has come to a couple of events and i thought she wud be really bored, but she said she was fine.. trouble was at the DTD leg i finished at 10pm and she wanted to go bowling!!!
