        love the new logo. great result winning the monthly league. well done winning last night captain. i came close in one of the deepstacks but lost a couple of flips at the end. looking forward to retaining it in june :)

    Nice cashes everyone. I should have been posting about how I won my SPT seat last night but I'm afraid I blew it. When I realised how close I was I said to JJ that I suddenly felt nervous (crazy I know) and I got involved in a hand with A9 suited and all my rational thinking flew out of the window. I had the 2 shortstacks allin and I thought if I can win this hand it's all over when really I know now that with 2 allins I should have folded. With the blinds rising I may have been able to fold every hand and got there ( well definately 3rd for £150). I felt stunned when I went out and my head has been replaying the last few hands over and over so I had to vent it on here. Thanks for the rail guys and I'm sorry it ended the way it did.

    It is harsh FD and I think I know how you feel after being in the same situation many times before but if you are like me although it didnt work out in the long run it wll make you more money as we learn for next time.
     
    I remember losing my first decent torny on HU with a big lead and started to think about my first big win and by the time I had stoped worrying about it I was out but I havnt put myself back in that position again (I hope) We all need to rant I think I may have done it once lol

    Been in the same spot many times Dagg so I know how you feel. Its so easy to say hang back and don't get involved at this stage of a Satellite, but its harder to put into practice imo, as that little killer/win instinct in the back of our brain wants to try and win the game rather than just qualify.

    Keep at it, your getting much closer each time and i'm sure you can make it.

    I had a decent stack in this last night 4.6k early on and then went on to blow it against an all-in situation with 2 pairs when in hindsight I could have easily folded and found a better spot. Its so much easier live imo as you have more time to make a decision, it seems we make many more mistakes online when we are up against the clock.

    Anyway, best of luck in the next one - see you there.

    WD ryan nice cashes.Hi dagg as you know i've been bubble boy for £200 in survivor and i know how much it hurts.Hope it doesn't get you down to much.Poker is a game that really tests us,some days we make the decisons and they work out and somedays nothing goes right no matter what we try.All i can say is you played well to get you there and sometimes you wake up with kk and other days someone else wakes up with kk it just happens dagg.All i'm saying dagg is, enjoy blackpool  and g&t ftw.Gl at the tables guys.
