    MINI SPT FINAL TONIGHT
    Well not really merely a £5-50 Sit n Go at 9p.m. tonight. Let's try and fill a 10 seater with TPT players. I'll sit at the first vacant table at 9pm so just search my name. It will be first come first seated So get in quick before any of those other so called teams get in.

    Latest news about live stream is that there is an equipment failure and live stream has been abandoned.

    Just back from the SPT my AQ ran into AK when i was down to 25k in chips. I could have not played the pot but I did go with an attitude of I am looking to cash not just go and get blined away on the 2nd day so no compliants.

    It was a very intresting experiance with some things that happened there that has left me with the feeling that although it is the biggest card room in Europe I am very dissapointed to say I was not impressed. I found it very different from Blackpool as I felt there was no atmospher that makes the SPT so much fun due to the number of local players playing and I am sorry to say I felt the staff made sure they went out there way to look after these people whereas I would be telling the staff to treat all the same but thats just my view.

    I was shocked at some of the table behavour including a player who wasnt envolved in a pot turning my cards over!!!!!!!!! when I had the right not to show therefore showing everybody my info he did it because he was in the hand with me before that and I refused to tell him what I had and said I dont give free info, the floor manger response was to tell him (i think a local player) that if he does it again there will be a pen, now for a £330 buy in with such a decent prize for first 22k I though and still do that not only was that so out of order its hard to push it futher then that in a live game but borders if not is cheating that went with no punishment, so again not the best experiance.

    The reason I am telling you this is next time you think online poker is fixed just think about how much easier it would be if someone wanted to to fix a live game and in fact you have more protection online then live.

    Yes of course I am upset something like that happened and that I didnt feel impressed with dusk to dawn (which closes at about 2/3am and dosent open till 2pm lol) the positives were chatting to some great players from sky having a realy good laugh and also was nice to see the faces behind the screens :)

    I will def cintinue to go to SPT but I wont go to Notts again for a very long time, it was great to see Trev come up and rail and felt very sorry for you that you did make that trip and couldnt play the side event due to them caping the numbers very low from what I understand was due to the club not having enough dealers!!

    It does also highlight or refocus that in reality the boom in poker is still very young in the respect that I belive poker still has a very exciting journey to go on but there is still a massive way to go. Oh I wish I had the millions to create a poker club as it realy could be great hint any seceret millioners in the team that want to invest pmsl :)

    Out of the SPT final in 78th place.  Little disappointed not to make day 2 but was getting shorted stacked. Had JQ, flop was J high so when other player went all in I called.  He was on a flush draw which unfortunately hit on the river.  Going to try my luck in this afternoons side event.

    Nice to finally meet some of you.

    Sorry you didn't have such a great time MrB. Reading the fuller story on here about the opponents behaviour, well I'm not sure of the rules but I think he should have been banned for x number of orbits. That is something you just don't do. BTW this isn't the first time this week I have heard poor things about Dusk Till Dawn. Doesn't seem to be as great a place as it could be.

    got to agree with mr B the regs certainly were well looked after and the behaviour of some was shocking
    guy at my table was complete a r s e he had a few big bets on the footy on ladbrokes and threw his teddy out of the pram when the staff put the scotland game on the box rather than the footy results...he then proceeded to  ask for a laptop from the staff who informed him this was not possible.
    action jackson then gave him his phone to view the results on the sky sports app ...but this still wasnt good enough as the screen was to small he then had a strop and put all his chips in the pot every other hand in some sort of bizare  protest  and ultimately lost to bullets  lol
    To sum up the guy was a tool!!!
    I think over all the event was ran well but there was certainly an atmosphere lacking at the event...
    i will probably play at notts again as i do  like the venue and am looking forward the 6 max spt in october but i think this should be open to sky players only really
