    Well done K8 great result last night and well done Trev nice cashes. Nice ones Zoe and koppite too keep it in the family eh? Apologies if I missed anyone. 

    Wheels do you mind if I ask you something. Now that you are posting your cashes (and very nice they are too) could you let us know what tourneys they are from when you post them?It's just that some of us are nosy g i t s.

    i'm deternined to add to our total so: made a small cash in the 20.50 £2.20 Bhunter

    bit fustrating was well placed with 3 tables left, had AA cracked for half my stack by a player that flatted K5 out of the blinds[yer, i know], and exited when i jammed A6 for my last 12bbs and got looked up by KJ. made one horror play before that when i heroed a shove that represented a 3rd of my stack with AQ high. i thought noone would ever donk shove top pair no kicker, would they? yup they would, and a like a true fish, i paid him off. need to tighten those spew plays right up lol

    Advice please about this hand from last nights Megastack. One thing that has been missing from my game is 3betting preflop. After watching a Nick Wealthall video (yes Martin that one lol) Iv'e been trying to bring it into my game. Am I right in thinking my 3 bet here needs to be bigger? Any help appreciated.

    Yes mate, I think your 3 bet sizing is a little off, I would definatly be 3 betting to at least 9 or 10, Im not sure if your in position or not but I think its fine to 3 bet smaller with your value range in position but out of position i like to 3 bet with the likes off ak to get it in because if you brick the flop your in a horrible position but if your in position you can still conrol the action, but at the end of the day u gt him to put more money with a2 so u have to be happy about that !!! a high flop u will get alot of the stations money on this site because the standard is soooo bad..... gl next time

    The raise pre is way too small. Probably should be going to about 12k total, but then that is a third of your stack out of position. Which leads me towards 3bet jamming it. Give them the decision, and you know that you'll see all 5 cards this way. With less than 20bb, we can/should be 3bet shipping much lighter than AK, so we can get called by worse (this is Sky remember!), or we'll take down the pot and move onto the next hand. Or if they want to call off most of their stack with a pocket pair, then thats their decision now.

    As played you can never get away from it.

      +1 to this FD.  When you min 3 bet here OOP there is 13k in the pot and he has to put in 2k to call, so you are giving him 6.5 to 1 odds. A no brainer for pretty much ATC.

    I think you hit the nail on the head mate. With AK I thought I was ahead (his range is much wider than mine). A 3 bet that size isn't effective. Taking everyones advice into account I've learnt a few things. Thanks all.

    After getting Trevs 2nd prize for UKOPS buyins I will be playing the following events. I think this is a better plan than just playing a £55 tourney. I may try a couple of the Mini rebuys too not sure yet.

    looks like a decent plan gl
    in your AK hand the thing to notice is when you drop below 20bigs. Once that happens you want to be looking for the bets to shove over.  AK many would argue is too strong to shove but as you will be out of position i would be happy to get it all in pre.

    Glad to see TPTers are still running well.

    A little result for me tonight - entry into the £110 UKOPS ME again.  As I've already qualified I think I won £110 instead.  Many thanks for the rail guys - much appreciated xx

    PS Had a good game with Engy - he's on his way home to TPT soon I hope - he's been playing really well.

    hi all not been on here for a while, just got back from my poker holiday.

    had a great time, had a poker lesson which wasnt much good to be honest, it would of been great if you had never played poker before great for beginners but as most have played on here for a while i am sure you have all picked up what was discussed.

    entered 8 live tournments really enjoyed myself, was great fun although came aacross so strange characters along the way, finished 1st and min cashed in another so was fanatstic.

    great to see some ipressive cashes for team welldone to all.
