Shocker of a day for me today. Just couldn't get the right spots, had a little bad variance and probably leaked a little off too. Now in the minus for the month to the tune of -360.15
logged on just after midnight, couldn't resist the value of a 13 player Sunday roller sat for £9.60.
Going along nicely 2nd of 11, shortstack on the table jams with A4 I call with pocket queens, he hits not one but 2 aces.
Few hands later I have AK, 3 players flat call round to me, I shove all in with AK, I get one caller with K9, true to current form the 3 outer 9 comes on the river, its becoming so predictable its scary.
Wasnt going to play until the mastercash show started but had a bit free time earlier in the evening so decided to play a few tables. Played 2 x 100nl tables and 1 x 200nl table and was starting to wish i hadnt when i lost set v set on one and flush v flush on another to go about £300 down at one point but things turned around for me again when i hit over v under sets on 200nl and AA v KK on 100nl.
Had a little break then had about another half hour on the tables with no real hands or p/l to speak of but the decision to play poker earlier was a good one and made me £200+
Once the mastercash show started i just seemed to hit everything on almost every table i was on.
Ive played on at least 7-8 saturday night mastercash shows now and in all honesty i carnt think of any ive lost on (massive bock to my chances of winning next week lol) and the reason for that i think is because i enjoy them so much and they seem to keep me playing well.
They say there are no friends at the table once your involved in a pot but when i go on the lower stake tables i carnt help feeling bad if i win pots v players who i know are nice guys and that for me is the only downside to them.
By the end of the mastercash session i had made another £230+ bringing the day/nights profit to exactly +£437.21 including my super bounty hunter epic fail of -£22
My months running total now stands at +£442.35
Just want to say WD to debdobbs on her run in the super bounty hunter. nice 1 babe.x.
played for the first time this month for about an hour and a half today, won about £150ish thanks mainly to winning a ~200bb pot after getting stacks in on a QJxx board with AQ against AA and getting there.
had this hand towards the end of the session against a reg, probably looks like a terrible fold but idk I can't really see him having anything except a higher set here:
was just gonna post that i was coming off tables cos doing stupid things like the one above lol
if you read my earlier post on here you will see what i said about drink and poker , felt ok when went on but few cans later and thats what ya get m8 lol
i hadd 88 there which i would never play that way in mill years if no drink. gf and gn lol
good job for you ddint read my earlier post or you woulda snap called
Pretty good day yesterday started with about £73 ended With £124ish, so £51 up mainly from 5.50 DYMs but £11.75 from the Bounty Hunter ME which i got into for free (TY Irishrover and Sky) +New personal best for poker points in 1 day 333 (although i got 100 of those from the bounty hunter!) Posted by Poker_Fail
2nd of September, was up and down all day but finished up about £10 Balance £133.70
3rd September Great night £20 on a 5p/10p table while playing a bunch of turbo DYMs up £55
After making a nice little profit last month playing mostly PLO and PLO8 MTTs I'm now on a massive bad run. Cards are mostly dead and when I get something I get coolered. The latest 'highlight' was going out with quads against straight flush. To try to break the jinx I mixed in some NL4 cash and a couple STTs, but no luck there either. I'll try deep stack or 2 later, so if you see me just go all in as you're guaranteed to hit runner runner. At least my bank roll is still significantly higher than my initial deposit, but even so losing stinks. Balance so far this month: -£37.74 Posted by Giant811
Losing streak lasted another 3 PLO/PLO8 tourneys, then things started to turn around. Min-cashed 2 PLO MTTs and then finished second in a deepstack by playing very tight all the way through. I think I was all-in called once before heads-up (almost 3 hours).
Total winnings £41.50, balance for today +£11.36, balance for month -£21.54
Day 4 Begin awful, seems like a stadard for me atm lol lose alot at the start and spend the rest of the day winning it back, anyways my own fault, was my big blind so wouldnt normally play k8 but then the king hits and i take it all the way, end up being against a king with higher kicker, if i hadnt just come off a night shift i probably would of got away from that one, then topped up my BI, and against the same guy i get K 10 i hit my 10, but he has an overpair, again i probably could of gotten away from it had i not just gotten back from a night shift lol, but before i left the tables i did manage to make at least £2.50 of it back.
Its been a bit of a crazy day lol, so i went down as far as 15 pounds BR, and now have got it back up to 25, ive made a small loss today, but its still early, i havent slept though so thats bad, but the only reason i aint slept is cus i worked saturday nights till 6:00am, and then on monday at 9:00am ill have to go back into work, which would cause a problem if i slept during the day
In Response to Re: **** SEPTEMBER PROFIT CHALLENGE THREAD **** : What about ure mtt's or sng's m8 ?? Posted by debdobs_67
I don't play SNG's and have a seperate BR for MTT's. When playing cash I like to just do that and not be mixing it up each day as I get easily confused lol, although I'll still be in the DTD each Monday.

nf yb. back of august start of september hasnt been great for me. ran pretty terrible which led to me not playing great at times, made some bad calls vs players who may aswell play there cards faceup everytime they enter a pot.
had my first real winning day yesterday for a week so hope to carry it on today. still down for the month.
YBs post above should prove to everyone that drink and poker just do not mix lol
Even though i won over £80 in my little drunken session even yb would be the first to admit that if i had flattered his bet then c/r turn it would have been almost impossible for him to get off his set then which (aslong as a miracle 6 didnt hit) wouldve bagged an extra £170.
So looking at it that way playing drunk lost me money.
Very good fold though YB mate whichever way you look at it.
Been playing a few smaller stakes tables this morning and did alright so along with my drunken win that brings todays profit up to £217.27.
Running total now -£176.31
Be back on again later and its water for me for the rest of the week lol gl all
Pretty amazing stuff so far, am able to get good hands and even get paid once in a blue moon but so many times I'm being caught up or at least I believe I've been caught (calling to see and being wrong and I'd be even lower lol). Did have a hand near the end where I might have tilted a little but not sure yet.
Overall it's just 4.5 BI's but it just feels like I can't stop losing, really crazy guess it'll stop soon but reckon this month will be a good tough one as my losing sessions last month amassed to 7 BI's, already on 4.5 BI's from losing and we're on day 4 lol Start BR - £344.76
just seen this good idea hopefully can use this to push on to get my roll upto the level I want to move up!
2nd Sept - was cruising nicely on 2 tables up about a BI on 2 tables when I run Aces into 72suited AIPF who then gets the flush on the river. Well it is nl4! ended up down 57p! second session on the 2nd - only 1 table as playing the Premiership. Found a good one with people who kept calling to hit their draws and fortunately didn't. Up £7.02
LOL dis gettin pretty weird now. Liturally bangin sets off the walls with every pair I play but even in raised pots I get ZERO action, and when I do get any callers turn is worse card in deck and kills action but also gives Vill best hand.
Even TPGK beat by turned 2pr which he didn't even bet amazingly lol. Got to say I'm glad I'm not Don as I don't think he could take this.....

Had a day off yesterday because me and the girlfriend (llamas) went to see the Inbetweeners movie.
Just a quiet night for me tonight aswell... no cash for me because I fancied a break, but I thought I'd crack on with Irish Rover's challenge, won the first 2 levels first time so technically it's £1.40 profit for today but that'll be going on Level 3 - £2.10 tomorrow night. Wish me luck in going all the way! BR 1st September: £226.83

Bit of motivation now though.
I did get unlucky on some hands but playing 4 tables with a roll of £227 is to much for me.
I,ve played a bit today and won it back, just 2 tabling and also 3 or 4 £5 DYM,s
Tempted to stay at NL4 until my BR is over £300 (its at £230 now ) but it depends on table selection and whos playing and I,ll see how it goes
BR +£12 for Sept
Played super bh didnt cash but took 3 heads so +£2

Going on cash now (bad idea after drinking all night but feel ok so here goes)
