    I'm a massive Gervais fan and you guys are not getting me overly excited about watching this episode of Derek that I've got recorded lol.

    I've had this arguement with my brothers/mum about how much of Karl is acting in the pod casts, and I really don't think he is that dense (in a way). The majority of things that people would call stupid, I've always thought it's just because he has a mental way of looking at things. I do know someone who isn't quite as bad as Karl but has a very strange way of looking at things, and does have some of the kind of thoughts as Karl does about certain things.

    The ROI is abit misleading there ^^^. I played 10x £1 HU Hyper games at the start, wanted to get a feel for how they play to try and give abit of advice to a couple of people who are wanting to start playing micro HU.

    Also set myself a small challenge to win as many as I could outta 10.

    Disappointed it was only 8 in the end!

    I don't remember much about the session, other than god-moding against solack. I wouldn't wanna play him usually, but my policy on rematching new players, is to leave the 'rematch' box and let them make the decision.

    Unless I'm down overall, then I take the initiative and decide.

    As I went 3-0 up, I had to rematch.

    Quickly became 3-3 :( lol.

    Think I edged the decider. Nxt time (hopefully there wont be 1) if we play I think it'll be a 1 off, no matter what the result.

    Unless he lobby stalks me. 

    Then, meh. go away. Give me Munster instead :(

    *edit - Just having my daily play around on sharkscope, and I've seen I'm finally back on the leaderboard for sngs on sky in 2012!

    Only took me 3 months to recover from the 1k swing! lol.

    Now to make the top 10, then top 5!

    April Update:

    Had 4 or 5 days off so not really played much. But had a full day today and got about 100 games in.

    Its been a frustrating last 500 games or so, with tonnes of mini swings. Hopefully i can manage a sustained period of winning soon.

    Hey Doh,

    I ran horribly today in my HU games, could reel off a list of horrible hands like JJ v AJ (aipf) and I lose, QQ v K9 (aipf) and I lose, there's loads more but that's not really why I'm here.

    I decided to slip in a few hypers along with my turbos today and I do really enjoy them and think they should be easily winnable at this level, but again things just weren't going my way, although I was just repeatedly losing race after race. I remember you saying something about how it's important to play a low variance game at the micro hypers but how do you do this? Do you do alot more calling preflop so you can see more flops?

    April Update:

    Played a few hundred more hypers these last few days without really progressing my profit. Still on course to play around 1500 games this month.

    The highlight of yesterday was seeing MAXALLY reg for one of my games. (I think he must have got lost in the lobby somehow), anyway he beat me.

    Hey Doh,

    I've managed to convince Emma to start playing more HU because she always does really well at them, and makes alot more money than she does at MTTs (which she prefers), and I've got her into playing the hypers now lol. She's won 5 out of 7 so far, which is alot better than my winrate at the mo.

    We were thinking about doing a BR type challenge like Hoggers and Don did and I think hypers are a perfect way to get a fair competition. So there may be a thread coming soon where me and Emma go head to head on who can do best at Hypers.

    Meh. Up early. 

    During my session on Saturday, I had twitter open and saw someone post up a link to his staking spreadsheet, where he was selling action for a series of tournaments on PS for yesterday.

    I've never done any proper staking before, but I love to watch poker and don't much like playing it (especially MTT poker) so I decided to have $50 worth, which got me 3%.....

    Was watching on and off yest, inbetween football & IPL etc, it's basically buying into tournys and having someone better, more talented, experienced, and alot more patient than me play poker for me! ha.

    Deffo something I'll look to do again.

    Anyway it wasn't going that well, until the big SM on *'s, when I went to bed he was about 350th/600 left from a field of 7.5k. 1k places paid.

    I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer.

    Anyway woke up and remembered, checked the result and he got 88th for 1.5k, having been 30th w/120 left, and $220,000 ftw!!!

    Sighhhhh, so close :(

    Maybe that's why I sub-consciously woke myself up so early? I dunno.

    Made a profit on it and had a few chances of a really big ROI. Next time!

    My sit n doh week has been abit rubbish, nothing major just a couple of -$100 sessions. But overall I'm only about 25 quid down due to some cash binkage.

    Despite losing a £280 pot to WATERTAXI with A7 on K7xxK, where he bet £100 in to 80 on the river, and I snap called with A7 in a 3b pot.

    I'm sure some of you will enjoy that! ;)

    I'm gonna try and play today, mainly because I'm frustrated at how things have been going and I want to post a winning session asap. This will be 3 sessions in 5 days, and wont be doing my body any good, but needs must!

    How good are the HU shuffles btw? I've built huge stacks in 3 of the 6 real money ones I've played.

    They're like the perfect tournament, over within 75/80 minutes, soft as poo, and full of action.

    Yeh i'd give the £2.10s ago with £60, maybe give you yourself 10 BI's and if you drop to £40 then drop to £1.05s.

    It's probably not the best BR advice in the world, but thats what I'd do.

    There aren't any £2.10 hypers for some reason :s so i guess it'll have to be turbos, if you decide to play em.

    It's pretty much the same player base. A lot of the people i play at £3.15s i see regged for £1.05s too.

    Despite playing 3 of the last 5 days, and playing quite alot (for me) in April, I've still only got 4.2k points!

    It just doesn't seem to go up.

    I don't think there's any chance of me playing tomorrow, early signs are that this hangover is gonna be very unpleasent, so I need to give the body a rest. 

    It should mean I get to play the Thursday night BH though, which is now the fastest MTT on sky, after they turned the velocities into deepstacks.

    I've been playing a few HU hypers mostly £10. Enjoying them - but so swingy, some days win like 9/10 and others cant win a flip or even a 60:40 to save my life.

    So tilting when it seems like a weak opponent consciously takes the wrong end of a 60:40 shot as they realise this maybe their best chance to win.

    Anyway, was wondering if you have a spare moment could you pull out my HU sng graph from sharkscope. dont mind if you post it here. Would like to know my roi in these, I think i'm close to break even - so probably losing !

    I'm still using the free searches, though i'll need to look at this if i continue playing these.

    Congratulations on your win. I was a bit disappointed that i bled a few chips after i coolered your (i think) QQ with AA , then tried floating oop which didnt work, plus went card dead at crucial time.

    Yea no problem.....

    You want your all time HU graph? Or just a period of time which will be all hypers? or both?......last xxx days/weeks? last xxx games? Let me know exactly what you want and I'll post them up now. 

    @Lambo, yeh I can look at the hands, I've got jme on the laptop now, or if you want to post them all in a thread maybe in A51, then I can look closer/longer, then delete the thread after. either is fine......
