    finally got round to attempting to play again, played 30 £5 dyms, inc 3 or 4 turbo's whilst I was waiting for the normal ones to fill.

    only played 3 or 4 at once as i've barely seen a computer for 3 weeks n just felt like i needed to get back in2 the right habits / mindset, basically learning again where the fold button is!

    managed to run ok and turned a £65 profit and obv 150 pts, will be stepping up the grind ova the nxt few days!

    Played alot today.

    1st session from about 2pm - 5pm was the swingiest session by a long way. playing 6-7 tables of £100nl with 1x£200nl table thrown in and i managed to go about £400-£500 up in no time then partly due to bad play but more due to bad luck within 30mins of that i was about £300-£400 down.

    At that point i was just thinking i would be happy coming off even on the session but things took a big upturn again and i ended the session +£328.29

    My 2nd session i played 7 tables of £100nl and after starting badly by losing 2 buyins in no time i managed to pull it around again to finish the session at -£19.87

    MTTs i played main and mini and came 7th in main +£214.70

    Cash on day +£308.42
    MTTs on day +214.70

    Monthly running total = +£1686.76

    My profits dont seem to be as good when playing more tables than 2 or 3 and lately i havnt been so selective with my table choice but i think playing alot of tables is helping me to spot a few leaks in my game that i hadnt really noticed until now so long term i think the good will outweigh the bad. 1 of them is giving too much action to players who are tighter than a nats @ss ( no scotty im not talking about you mate :) ) but they say practice makes perfect so i will be trying to put them right :)

    Multi-tasking failure.

    Worked early this morning to combine breakfast with the rugby, and thought I'd throw in a couple of tables of poker as I was sat still for a while. Played well while England were getting stuffed, then lost concentration in that short period during the second half when England looked respectable and undid my earlier good play.

    Guess there's a lesson in there somewhere. :o)

    Profit 5p lol, account £130.78, 136 points.

    Almost exact break even session as I never really got out of 1st gear. Not one losing pot over 20bbs which is good and also some winning ones over that mark but never any daddy pots so any wins were trickled away with blinds etc. But break even is better than losing 2 BI's which I had last month lol

    Very nervous going into this sesh as I'm in that horrible situation where I could see it going wrong i.e getting some crazy loony variance. Well it went slightly better than that in fact my biggest ever winning session at cash, only 2 losing pots above 20bbs which helped as well. Winning ones though were off the chart including one 180bb pot bottom set on K73 flop vs AK and KQ who were both full stacked and maniacs, ahh bliss :).

    This now takes me to stage where I can try NL20 which will be tomorrow, just gotta hope the run good continues for a few more days then I shud be stable at the level.

Another one, heads-up with stacks almost exactly equal, I flopped top set on a very wet board, villain turned the nut straight (I made a lower straight) and I then filled up on the river. So sick. There also was a 3-way chop with 2 pair, 3-way all-in and everyone had AA99. Never seen that before. Only major hand I got unlucky was the final hand in the £20gtd, heads-up I got my chips in as a 2:1 fav with top pair and straight and flush draws and lost to 2 pair. Difference between 1st and 2nd was £20, so from that point of view this was the most important hand of the day.

    In detail I played:
    4 PLO bounty hunters: 1 win, 1 3rd
    3 £1.10 PLO8: 1 win, 1 3rd
    PLO freeroll 15th
    £3.30 PLO didn't cash
    £20gtd PLO 2nd
    £3.30 PLO8 1st

    In total 7 cashes out of 11, daily balance +£25.94, MTD balance £71.64. I'm also currently 7th in the MTT league. I don't expect to stay up there, but who knows, maybe I get into the next TSP playoff, and if I somehow run like god and bink my way onto the team I could be the first member who has a sub-£1k bankroll and no clue how to play Hold'em or Cash. Wouldn't that be fun?

    Didnt play alot today.

    Early morning played 3x £100nl tables for about 90mins +£161.35

    Afternoon played 2x £100nl tables for about 60mins +£132.24

    Tonight played 1x mastercash table for 20mins +£55.56

    No MTTs today for me

    Total days profit = +£349.15

    Monthly running total = +£2035.91

    played a mixture of £5 /£10 dyms, then a little bit of nl20/30 late on, tiny loss on cash, but profit on the dyms left me £82 up for the day.

    Realised that I've mis-calculated my starting balance yesterday, and I was nowhere near +589 for the day!!!!!!

    I was actually +246 on the day

    That makes me + 573 for the month !!!!!

    Aghhhhhh, Im used to waking up on Sunday mornings disappointed with my Saturday poker session but this is different gravy!! loooool

    Was looking forward to slacking for a few weeks, guess the hard work is still to come. fml

    First ever session at NL20 today and got to say it's very different to NL10, probably like 75% REGs on average at each table so fish hunting is pretty tough lol. Did have one table where there was a first class nutter had loads of chanced to stack him but he never quite put the whole lot in just lots of flesh wounds which was a shame. Still, I didn't finish with a loss so could be worse.

    One thing that is brilliant about NL20 is the points, I only played 2 tables to just get settled in and actually made the most points ever in one session so far this month, so if I could just stay level for a few weeks it will help C4P no end.

    Start BR - £290.54

    Session - £2.64

    Current BR - £437.63

    Another small sesh in terms of hands as again just 2 tabling but much more reads noted down which is good long term. One losing pot 20bb+ TPTK on turn beat by str8 draw, a few winning pots but I think I could have got more in some spots if I played it slower. Again points are so easy to get once in that second bracket lol

    Variance swung back the other way a bit today. Didn't get many good hands and kept losing key hands on the river, but that happens in Omaha. Overall cashed 1 of 6 PLO bounty hunters and 2 of 3 PLO8 MTTs. All cashes I finished second.

    Todays moment of hold'em fail came when in the League Stars freeroll I ran top 2 pairs into a straight. At least it didn't cost me anything.

    3 cashes out of 9, daily balance -£0.66, MTD balance +£70.98. 4th in the MTT league.

    Didnt play much today either.

    Played 4-5 £100nl tables this morning all standard apart from one moment of madness v a guy who couldnt fold t/p 2 kicker for his stack which cost me a buyin but my notes should have stoped me doing what i did so my fault entirely = -£119.70

    Played 2 hu stts v my mate score 1-1 but i won the £100 one and he only won the £20 one so beers on him lol = +£74

    MTTs played main and mini + one sat into main but really should play once im feeling tired cos always end up doing stupid things and didnt last long in any of them = -£72.50

    Just came off from playing 6 £100nl tables before typing this and made a small profit = +£51.84

    Cash games on day = -£67.86
    MTTs on day = -£72.50
    STTs on day = +£74 (thanks daft lad :) )

    Monthly running total = +£1969.55

    Might go back onto cash after a cuppa but will put any p/l on tomorrows update

    Gonna have to pull my finger out and play alot more if im gonna get my c4p to pay for all my ukops buyins

    I was watching a sky poker show the other day and hear carlo citrone talking about a player who can spin air into thousands of pounds by rapidly moving up the ranks and as i am getting slightly wound up by poker atm i am going to have a go at it.

    Starting BR £25 - (Using my cash for points)
    Chucked a fiver in a BH and went out first hand :(

    Sat at Nl 20 for an about an hour and a half

    Session finished

    BR - £66.09

    Just found this thread...I currently have a bankroll of £45 and am playing NL4 6max tables.A few years back I turned a similar bankroll into 2k on this very site..not sure if the games are still as loose as they used to be? Id also like to pick up some c4p along the way but not sure how much I can expect to get at the lower levels. GL guys
