    Lost a BI with AQ after Q2 shoved on me on a Q high flop... cue 2 on the turn.  My notes have been updated but they can't be repeated on the forum.  On the plus side I'm miles ahead of my points target, finding 6 tables a breeze, pity my laptop can't cope with any more.

    Played alot more today than normal.

    Early morning played 6x £100nl and £50nl tables with no real badbeats etc = +£144.25

    From about 1pm until 6pm today played £50nl up to £200nl and and was ready to come off losing about £110 until i spotted real value on a £200nl table and turned my loss into a profit within 5 minutes of sitting, ended that session winning £70.21 but it would have been about £200 more than that if i could stop myself doing stupid things v the wrong players like the one i did this afternoon v the table loon when i was holding Ac Jd on a 3c 7c 10c 9d 2h board and put him all in for a extra £120 on river knowing its not poss for him to have the nuts then seeing him call me with 2 pair lol :)  god loves a trier

    Gotta keep reminding myself that some players only see their own cards :)

    Played main and mini tonight with small amount back from bountys.

    MTTs on day = -£15.54

Didn't get many good hands and kept losing key hands on the river, but that happens in Omaha. Overall cashed 1 of 6 PLO bounty hunters and 2 of 3 PLO8 MTTs. All cashes I finished second. Todays moment of hold'em fail came when in the League Stars freeroll I ran top 2 pairs into a straight. At least it didn't cost me anything. 3 cashes out of 9, daily balance -£0.66, MTD balance +£70.98. 4th in the MTT league.

    first time played in a week and it was the fishes night (plus some bad play if i'm honest)
    made notes on the couple of people that took my money and hope to see them again.
    they hit on the river alot tonight but didn't seem to realise how lucky they were with their 2 or 3 outers
    kept playing them as hoped to get the money back - have best hand post flop get them to go allin and they hit on river.one of those nights.
    any way down £13.22 tonight which is alot for me on nl4 - down £10.13 on the month. That was my c4p gone in one night!

    was only 2 BIs off my target to go up to nl8 as well. 5BI's now

    Another decent session, started quite well and was in pretty good profit for most part but had a few awkward hands near the end that lowered overall profit but still positive (almost a BI) which is all that matters at this early stage.

    Had one of the most frustrating days in a while. Played 2 of the £1.20 satellites to UKOPS #2, first one I finished 5th (3 seats awarded), second one I busted with a pretty good stack top&bottom vs top 2 pair, but with the blinds going up quickly I felt I had to take a chance. First OHL2 tourney I never got any hands, second one I binked a magic river to double up early, gave most of it back when I played AA87ds aggressively and got outflopped and outdrawn, then had the overall chipleader to my immediate left forever before busting in 26th. All I got today was a min-cash in a bounty hunter, and I didn't even get any bounties. I hate poker right now.

    1 cash out of 7, daily balance -£11.60, MTD balance +£75.38.

    Played 5 different cash sessions from the early hours through until tonight.

    Sess 1 = +£160.94
    Sess 2 = -£45.54
    Sess 3 = +£80.46
    Sess 4 = +£96.41
    Sess 5 = +£138.31

    Played main and mini + Thews@10 and cashed in main and mini.

    Cash on day = +£430.58
    MTTs on day = +£.02p lol

    Months running total = +£2599.07

    down like 800 or so since my last update.  think im 2k up for the month, maybe a little less

    played bad in dtd 300 but won 350 on cash so was an ok trip.

    well a decent session yesterday, this time I hit for the most part.
    up £8.43 on it
    could have been alot better except for some bad play by me, not reading it right, and also one where I had Aces they had 10s allin pre flop (as usual for him) and he binks a 10. never mind.
    Also made a mistake last time and double counted a table so the loss was £2.86 less.

    so for the month (not including c4p) up £1.09!

    played 2 days this month those days were monday and yesterday

    i am + £50 on hypers

    + a ukops 1 & 2 seats

    main aim for the month was to get into as many ukops as i can wasn't too fussed about making any money on the side so atm everything is going perfect for me with what i have targeted for the month

    ended up £9.91 and felt it could have been more except for the above mentioned internet.
    had decent reads on everyone at 2 of the 3 tables. the other one i was treading water after being stacked by 10 6 on Q66 board and I had AQ. Why call 5bb pre in small blind with that I don't know, but notes made.
    By the time I'd got back all tables were filled.

    so up for the month £11.00 and points 254.

    just over my target to start nl8, but my play has been erratic recently so not sure whether to start there yet or whether to get more settled play first. Thoughts?

    Well that was one rollercoaster of a session, started off brilliantly around £30 very early on everything going well but then it just started going really bad, turned FH w/22 but river counterfitted it, ran AK into AA twice (never happens the other round....), AA beat by turned top trips or at least I gave them credit for it, ran JJ into shortstack limp/raising w/KK and finally when I thought I cud get back to break even with AA v KK all in pre, K on river.... Still, it's less then 2BI down so can't be that frustrated but last AA v KK was a real killer.

    Due to a combination of spending time away from my computer to play basketball and still being tilted from playing/running bad yesterday I decided not to play today. But then I saw that the Rich Orford heads-up challenge was back on, and I couldn't pass up that value. Now I don't hate poker anymore. Thanks Rich!

    Another tricky session but luckily not losing one just about break even. Main losing hands involved AK v QQ they hold, 10's v 85 on 8 high board they get trips and 2pr vs 2pr on flop where I just couldn't fold. The points are still great so would like to at least stay playing for rest of month but know that could change in one bad session so just gotta plod on.

    AA aipf loses to A9, KK to 33 aipf, overpair to set on flop.

    Down 5 BI's in 2 nights having done little wrong, and I'm having to keep telling myself that if I play like that long term I win money. lolol

    Hi Walesboy nice work, imo if you're not feeling fully comfortable atm earn say £8-16 more before you move to NL8 so that you have a couple buyins to test the water.

    Played 4 cash sessions today.

    Session 1 early morning ran ok with no real carp to speak about = +£138.59

    Session 2 early morning very slow going and came off with a small loss = -£12.65

    Session 3 from about 3pm-5pm started off playing 6-7 tables but cut down to my best 2 shortly after starting because real value on them and thought it was better to concentrate more on those = +£220.42

    Session 4 from 8pm-9pm played 4x £100nl tables and did some really stupid things v 2 reg players in particular who i am certain have both just bought the same book on how to play position :) and no matter what you do in a hand if your out of position it makes it harder on yourself, did double up with 2 weak hands v them at certain times but when OOP with weak holdings it always feels like a guessing game and not something i like to get myself into very often so only myself to blame for my loss of -£78.81

    Played the main and mini with no cash in either

    Cash games on day = +£267.55
    MTTs on day = -£25.30

    Months running total = +£2841.32
    Cash4points total at mo 7.5k so really need to play alot more.

    Hi mate.

    You answered your own question really when you said your play has been erratic recently.


    If you feel this way i would say dont move until your feeling like your back in the stride of things because although its only 1 level higher you could do your BR alot of damage in a very short time if playing that way.

    I would say wait until you feel like your playing good solid poker and move up then mate.

    Fairly decent session in that I didn't finish down lol. Only a few major losing hands, early on ran set into str8 on non flush board, QQ all in pre vs AJ and JJ, J on river...., AK v A8 bet streets w/TPTK they hit 2 pr on river and luckily just call.

    Yet another frustrating session, up untill last 15 minutes I was up just over a BI and crusing but had a few horrow hands inlcuding nut flush running into house, still, I made a tiny profit which is better than losing, but so sick not to get sunstantial profit after playing fairly well.
