Yes - I just heard exactly that.

Pray God it is true, & he recovers.

    Get in, Son.

1, 2, 3, FOUR limpers (WHAT?) into Jingles BB, so he does EXACTLY the right thing, with EXACTLY the right size stack.

    They can't call. Mostly.

He increased his stack by 20,000 - that is 30%!

I can barely believe that players limp @ this stage, unless they are being trappy-wappy, & they clearly were not.

    Unbelievable.

They don't watch Channel 865, one assumes.

Strewth, I'm almost tilted by how bad that 4 way limp is!

seems a strange move at this stage of a high buy in tourney thats for sure

Don't question it, just keep jamming it.

A very diplomatic adjective, barnsie. If I were commentating on 865 on our players doing that, I think I may just have stretched to "strange".......but it would not happen, ever. Would it?

    Uh-oh, Sam is OUT.

There will be plenty more big paydays for him, worry not.

His UTG jam with A-7 ran into A-K.

    Timing is all.

    So, there there was one.

Jingle is on the comeback trail, seems to be on about 110,000, @ 1,500/3,000/400.

It's enough, but he must not stand still, Jingle gotta jangle.

the reason i put it like that is im sure the players making such a move have better live tourney records than myself so must have soem reasoning behind apparent madness?

Deadman is SO good, what a great lad. His temprement is key, doubt I have ever seen him tilt in my life.

Sam Grafton just took on a shortie, Sam A-J, shortie A-3, & the 3 fell. Good job it was not Online. Area 51 alert.

You are a wise man barnsie. Even so, I'm not sure I can think of a good reason at this stage.

    Shall we call it unconventional?

Need an Over/Under on the number of times Tikay posts on the next one of these threads :)

8 minutes to the end of this Level, then a 15 min break.

THREE more levels - maximum - remain after that, UNLESS they reach a final, in which case play ceases.

I'd bet plenty that a Final will be reached before the scheduled end.

I still don't know if I'm off back to London tonight, or taking advantage of Mr Lum's kind offer of  hotel room.

If Jungle busts, I go home, if he Finals, I'm staying, & you get an Update tomorrow. Simple.

Thank you, it is quite stamina sapping, but there are far worse jobs!

Updates are SO much better & easier to do, when there is a bit of feedback. A "dead" Update is so demoralising.

Much of our Vegas Updates occur in the middle of the night UK time, so we don't get much bounce, but opening the thread the next day is always a delight, after people have got up in the UK & commented.

It is not widely known that I was the pioneer of interactive Live Updates, in about 2004 I think, from EPT Copenhagen.

Since then, lots & lots of sites, & updating agencies, (me included, elsewhere) have spent fortunes investing & paying for Live Updates, & almost none of them have ever earned a bean for it!

    A very dubious distinction.

Why dont u stay watever the result? if he busts then play some cash and chill out, if he doesnt then obviously you can be Mr Professional and stay for some support.

    15 min break.

    Jingle has 105,000, & we return @ 2k-4k/500, ave stack 180,000.

So, our man has 25 bigs, give or take.

When the 4 players limped into Jingle, he jammed with 10-9.

    +1 Great play

    And come on the Jingle!
  • edited March 2012

By going home tonight, it means I get a full day off tomorrow. Driving home in the morning kills 3 hours, & sort of breaks the day.

I'd rather Jingle finalled though, & I stay here.

My boss, Lord Milner, is a hard man, see?

Gotta love poker, it gives so many thrills.

A pal of mine (not a Sky Poker player, boo!) who has sold most of his action to play this, & has been grinding all day, on around 30,000.

He just got his bowl in with 9-9, & got looked up in 2 spots, by J-10, & K-Q, lol - just gotta swerve the 4 overs!

On the flop, one of the oppos picked up a flush draw, too, eeek!

So, he had the Turn & River to swerve any 10, J, Q, K, or heart. And he did.

2 cards to come & he is ahead, but not even favourite!

    Count dem outs baby.....
