    fancied a few more so here we go

    2.50 New Kiama Bay 8-1 2nd
    3.25 Sound Investment 7-2 Winner
    1.55 Kelso Ballybolley 10-11 Winner 
    3.10 don Batavir 2-1 lost Call the cops impressive

    so I can watch our Scoop 6 horses
    Burano 10-1 2.55 Ling unplaced

    Last two have to win to get a run at Cheltenham so will be on form today even if they don't repeat at festival

    not much tomorrow so couple of strong fancies and a couple of numpties


    iiii - 3.10 Sandown 14-1 Fascino Rustico - Has won twice but also likes falling. Last time out he was making superb progress from the back to run into a place in a top class race when he fell. lets hope he stands up today.

    iii - 4.55 Sandown 3-1 Rouge Blanc - Been entered up all over the place last month for good/soft ground and has been kept until he gets it. which he should tomorrow. Lets hope the wait was worth it. Trainer had a good day but not with this, been kept near fully fit for too long me thinks.

    ii - 2.00 Sandown  10-1 Hello George - Grandson George's birthday yesterday. Lets hope this is a present. Been backed in from 16-1 went downhill fast

    I - 1.50 Chepstow 100-30 Gentle George - ditto LOST

    Ive found some more nags to back

    2.15 Wolves Al Thakira 4-1 3rd
    2.50 Halation 6-1 4th or 5th after being pushed wider and wider on bend
    4.00 Boomerang bob 25-1 2nd lovely run through from back, back next time

    2.25 Chepstow Rye House 6-1 nowhere and well done andybuck with War Sound

    Saver 3.10 Sandown Rayvin black 33-1 2nd so d it thought he was going to get back up ran a great race.

    Leaving house to move onto boat on Wednesday so this is my last set of ratings.

    Will still be around on here but not regularly enough to keep this thread going.

    At least I showed a profit over three years evn if I didn't get as many winners as I had hoped.
     
    Here you go for today

    iiii - 3.25 Kempton - Boomerang Bob 9-2 didn't get out and then massacred and nearly put through rails, no chance after that.
     
    iii - 4.10 Stratford -What a Good Night 7-2 went out like a light

    ii - 3.45 Doncaster - What About Carlo 20-1 4th and nice place double with chatez, pity he didn't get a better run but wouldn't have caught Gabriel

    I- 1.15 Meydan  -Brown Panther 9-2 WINNER EASY PEASY


    Other Fancies
    3.40 Meydan The Grey Gatsby 5-2 2nd
    4.15 Meydan Harp Star 7-2 nowhere
    5.00 Mey Lea 4-1 3rd
    4.35 Kempton American Hope 2-1 2nd
    2.35 Doncaster Justice Day 14-1 Last and Dinkum Diamond 12-1 5th
    3.10 don Chatez 16-1 WINNER absolutely easy , he was cantering all over them from start even though he was at back, it was a question whether he got a run
    4.20 don Ledbury 5-1 wrong bloody Hills horse other won at 20-1. Weekender straight from stable didn't even mention her and reckoned Ledbury good. some trainers you cant trust. 

    Lets hope I go out on a bang and not a whimper.

    Good luck Terry, with your canal boat touring the countries pubs and waterways.
    This has always been a great read and informative, it's also helped me to see if my opinions were to far off track! and amazingly.... I often had come to similar conclusions either picking or forgiving a horse a bad run or 3! It's only a shame you didn't put Chatez up as your final 4 candle rating. As when it crossed the line, i was obviously cheering it past the post and i did hope you had continued to back it but couldn't remember it as one of the candle picks.

    Here we go again

    iiii - 2.40 Newbury - London Prize -5-1- Won previous before looking all over the winner last time when his jockey pushed him into a fence after letting him coast on bridle. Hopefully he will be left to his own devices this time and win.  NR -They want to win with this horse and taken out so non runner, watch for him next time

    iii - - 2.05 Newbury -Katenko 12-1     - Well handicapped on best form and Venetia, heavy ground and a Saturday hopefully will inspire. Venetia and I don't click very often and this one struggled from four out.

    ii- 3.15 Newbury - O Moanlai - 8-1     - Jockey and trainer have had a good season and this horse loves this track 2 from 4 here and an easy winner last appearance at Newbury. cantering all over them when making terrible mistake at the cross fence. 4th

    i - 3.35 Doncaster - Looking well - 5-1 -  Bottom weight even though he ran a great race here last time to be second to track specialist Ziga Boy. Got to have a good chance. Not good enough

    Other horses done

    1.30 Newbury -Hello George 6-1 - Backed down to favourite and won easily, good start
    1.50 don - Seefood 8-1  - looked to be going well but went out like a light after last
    2.25 Don  Katgary  6-1 - 2nd after he looked like he could take race whenever he wanted.
    3.00 Don Braventura 10-1 fell when out of it

    and a little saver on old fav Melodic Renzvous at Newbury
