4nl is annoying right now, i played yesterday and today for 6 hours total and only am showing a profit of £3.

It seems like theres a lot more regulars, multi tabling, who ive never even seen till recently.

Plus theres a lot more people calling me down with j 2/ k 3 hands and hitting there 2 pairs on the river!

things today returned back to winning way on the cash tables again after the bad spell that I had in my last two sessions.
overall I've finished with a profit today of £26.16 from 12 tables
6 tables (2 nl4 2nl10 2act) got me winning which totalled £49.59 a big part of that was from a profit of £30.12 on a nl10.
the 6 table (5nl4 1 nl10) losses came to a total loss of £23.43 and the biggest loss was £7.52 from a nl4.

Understand you playing 10nl of a weekend. But I would advise 40 buy ins minimum - ideally 50.

after a long session over 2 and a half hours of play on 6 tables (4nl4 1 act and 1 nl10) I have finish with a profit of £12.35 which was mostly thanks to the action table which I won £10.66 as for the nl10 it didn't really have any change to my buy in as it lost just 3p. the session itself was very quite and passive to begin and caused a bit of losses due to me feeding my fairly strong hands to tight passive villians so i went for a change of play on the just the nl4 and became LAG and if i held a decent enough hand i just shoved my hand if any bet even 4p was done.

I am probably quite lucky to have made a profit from today as I had a very bad start and had £1+ from4 hands compared to only 1 hand winning £1+ in the first 30 minutes. overall I managed just £5.44 profit from 9 tables.

one thing i do realise is by doing the shove right away you managed to get the most because if you just call the turn when that 2nd J comes i would only be check or folding on the river.

today has been another very good day again with a total winnings of £34.11 from 19 cash tables overall from 4 sessions. the 34.11 is most likely the biggest cash only winning yet.

their was 7 tables and out of the 7 only 2 got a winning both being action and the total was  £4.98

today turn out to be a rollercoaster of a day I had 3 sessions overall. the first was quite a bad one causing a loss of about £8 but then I got myself winning and became profit of £12 but then came some very unlucky hands and cooldowns which overall cost me nearly £18 in losses my bankroll is now £300.56

in that positive session I did have a few interesting hands

And with the straight flush, when he raises you on the river, the only option is to move in. Surprised you got paid off by the K high flush as there are 3 very obvious spades that he loses to but its all good for you.

Both those hands Craig, we are the PFR and we flop massive on both. But both are potentially very draw heavy boards. And we check. So not only are we missing out on value, we are also giving the villains the chance to outdraw us without having to pay a penny to see a turn card.

There are occasions and board textures when it's ok or even optimal to slow play our flopped monsters, but I don't think this applies to either of the above.

I assume your set of Q's is no good by that river? You've left it on a cliffhanger for us all....

As said above, there is just no +ve at all in checking either of those hands, unless you are going for a check raise.

I mentioned this to DevonFish a while ago, but Craig you gotta cut out these clickbacks (for the most part). It looks even stronger than a bigger raise AND gets you less value!

As it was in that KQ hand, you had the opportunity to build the pot and maybe get it in when you were SO likely to have the best hand but in reality more than 50% of the whole pot went in AFTER you went behind in the hand.

Hand 1 (AK) - Raise way bigger after a min-raise and a call, I'd probably go about 40p total. When you flop big BET!!!! You 10000000% should have easily stacked the oppo in this hand and you would have if you'd raised more pre, and bet bet bet. THis hand should be perfect evidence for why you need to stop flopping the nuts and checking it. Playing it the way you did just lost you almost 50xBB... considering a VERY good winrate would be like 10xBB per hour, that's a massive leak.

the call on the flop was with me having a double gutshot as either a 9 or a K would give the straight
on the turn I can see I was wrong to call it was probably the difference in the chip stack that made me call.

Fair enough, you have the double gut shot. However, think the problem here lies with the villains stack. He is gonna shove pretty much any turn with just 75p behind.

Think folding the flop is the best option. I also wouldn't object to a chunky raise to put the villain under pressure for his stack. In this case, he still calls but we have reasonable equity with the overcard and straight possibilities (plus we hold the A of hearts). Other times we might get him off AK/1010 and take the pot down.
