    RE-EDIT - Crashed out of both games pretty early - Got to try and stop this downswing now

    Decided to play the £750 BH which was going ok until i made a horrific call with top pair weak kicker. I let the bounty go to my head and was up against a set and virtually drawing dead. Still hanging in there at the break but got some catching up to do (running well in a $2 rebuy ($3k GTD) but its a bit of a lottery - edit - managed amin cash for $12)

    Finally managed a small win to stop the run of losses from a £5 timed

    Signed up for these so far although i,ve just gone out of the £5 timed in 1st hand which is not a gr8 start (also playing elsewhere with some free $2 tokens)

    EDIT:  1st brk and one of the unluckiest hours of poker i,ll ever play. Should have qualified for a seat in the 2k BH but had kk vs AQ AIPF 88 vs A6 AIPF busted with a decent chipstack and misclicked the fold button with a nut flush after some bet into me on the flop and i already had nearly half my chips in the middle.

    Folded 10 10 pre by mistake (another misclick) in the £5.75 BH which would have hit but came back was still going well until i got it all in on the turn with 2 pair against chip leader who called and rivered a better 2 pair

    Went out of the FR despite getting up to 9k and 3 players away on my table before a series of bad beats there as well

    Still in the £200 GTD but might quit for the night after this or at least have a short brk as i feel like tilting right now

    EDIT - brk time - Another satelite - another bad beat - just at the crucial point 88 vs A 6 then lost a flip with 88 vs AJ. Its getting to the point now where you almost expect to see the ace come down on the board when its the only overcard which will beat you. tempted to buy directly in now to the 2K BH
    (still hanging around in the £200 GTD tho with average stack)

    Only 25 mins gone but made the brk ( just about) Got down to 1.1k and have scraped it back to 1.7k). Did dish out my first bad beat of the night on a J high board with Kj vs aces when i spiked a K on the turn  in a 3 euro rebuy)

    Out of the 2K BH after getting low and running my 55 into AA. Gonna give it a brk on Sky for now and concentrate on some other games

    Sigh again - On my biggest downswing since diary began - ( I have made it into a £10 UKPC satelitwhere i,ve just dbl up on 2nd hand - This would be a gr8 way to stop the rot from a £1 satelite - win the UKPC - i live in hope)

    I did live in hope until i crashed out a few hands later.  I guess its time to add up my losses and see hwta my new roll is

    The £2 rebuy was going really until i got involved in a 3 way pot with the chip leader. I played it well and was ahead but such is my luck recently i got rivered for a bad bt and haven,t played since

    One way of stopping a downswing is to stop playing, but i have been spending some time on reading one of my books and watching some online poker vids. I think i should have been doing more of this over last few months but when your winning you just want to carry on playing

    Another red mark on the board but its ok this time as i took the seat for the 2K BH. Only 9 players but got lucky when  3 handed. Was 3rd in chips when 1st player limped so shoved with my 99 to find the BB and chip leader had woken up with AA so he shoved and then the guy who was in 2nd place  called all in to make it a 3 way pot now with his 77 and i ended hitting a str8. Not sure what would have happened if the Bg blinds Aces held up and my 99 had beaten the 77 as he had more chips than me, but basically i probably should have bubbled. Could this be the turnaround ???

    Started spewing chips early and went out early on a badcall. Was only in 30 minutes but played it badly. Can,t even blame luck this time. Don,t remember playing one good hand

    EDIT - Wasn,t planning on playing the mini esp. i was down to 500 chips after 20 minutes in the main. But got back up to over 3k so signed up and went out in 2nd hand with A 10 on the BB. The SB had 5 chips and after a cpl of limpers i raised it 3 x (probably should have just shoved) . Hit my ace but oppo had 2 pair which he would have folded if id shoved. Could do with a result in the Main but really can,t see it . My confidence is at rock bottom and i,m certainly not playing my A game + it can be a bit of a lottery being a turbo

    EDIT : On the brk for the 5K turbo open and i,ve finally got a cash albeit a min cash so far. 73 got paid - 27th from 62 with 16k

    EDIT : crashed out in 27th. Was quite happy getting AQ on the BB . The blinds were 2k/4k and i got shoved from the button so snap called and was up against AK - Didn,t hit but at least its some profit for a change

    Wish it would Paige but no sign at the moment. I think i might need a brk. Wasn,t going to play the £750 BH but jumped in at last minute - Lasted about ten minutes. At least i can watch Rounders now (On in 5 mins on BBC1)

    Got my m8 round tonight so if i am making istakes hopefully he,ll point them out to me. He,s not a bad player but that means any results tonight will be halfed so if i lose i,ll only take half off my roll and vice versa if i win. also playing some MTT,s elsewhere but just signed up for these 2 on here

    Sigh - another bad day although did play better


    Was running deep in a 10 euro  MTT with around 550 runners - Was up to 4th with 200 left when i got it in on the flop on 5 - 7 - 9  rainbow . I was on the BB with KK and 3 bet the raiser from mid position . He,d hit his 9 with the monster that is  Q9s and bet into me so i shoved and got rivered by another 9. This was a big pot and it proved the turning point . After going card dead for a while couldn,t find a way back in until i picked up 99 by which time i only had about 16 bb,s and lost to a flip against QK 

    ( I may have had a result in one of my free bingo games as i was checking some of my accounts earlier and came accross a £300 win but not surei,ll be able to collect after i,ve had a previous warning from a sister site for "using optimal game play strategy" instead of using them for the fun that they,re intended for) There just a rip off. They make it so easy to sign up and so hard to withdraw. Still a small chance i,ll get it but i,m not counting my chickens

    Decided to play some games on another site this week due to a rake race i,ve just opted into on there as i hope to be playing a fair bit this week. Need to stop the downswing and won,t do it by not playing

    I normally get searches from sharkscope and have just run out . I get 200 for $10 and it lasts me ages ( pay as you go) , but considering getting a $32 package as its got a training video on there for STT,s by pimpdonk worth $140 and if i,m goin to playing STT,s this week anyway it makes sense. Have decided to knock any purchases fron Sharkscope in future off my roll so that will be

    - £20

    I,ll be playing on Sky as well - probably a mixture , but definaletly got to keep it up with the satelites. An MTT result is long overdue

    Signed up for the following and playing a $10 game on cam. There generally pretty soft- or so it used to come up as on sharkscope ( Its not there now)  but you can only play 1 at at a time and no more than $10

    EDIt _ These wre the final results - Could have been worse considering i made schoolboy errors in missing the 1st level of the 15 min timed and tripping over a wire disconnecting myself from the FT of the BH . Got back in time to see my aces get rivered by a flush with K10

    I was concentrating on a rake race on another site, but finding it hard to get used to the interface and software. Just don,t like it so i,ve given up on that and will play a bit more on here for rest of month

    I,ve just made the brk - Clinging on in 3 tourneys .I,ve found myself in the $55 20k Challenge after winning a satlite .I wish i,d taken the overlay of $45 now as i,ve gone in when the blinds had just got to 75/150 with 3k and 15 minute blinds . Its not a shoving stack , but its not a re-stealing stack either although i have won a few hundred by stealing a cpl of blinds although i,m now 193rd from 234 left from  462 starters . Need some run good there i thinnk

    Hanging around in the £8.80 - £400 GTD and the £5.50 £200 GTD


    Will update nxt brk if im still in which i doubt

    EDIT _ dont you just love it when you get dealt aces in a $50 dollar game at a crucial time and 8 ppl fold

    and got bt by a str8 flush in the £8.80 one - nothing i could do - but i quite like that tournament

    EDIT _ Was getting low in 20K GTD but manged a triple up to 8k . Now 59th out of 176. Could really do with some luck now

    Wish i could change some of my cards from the £200 GTD to the 20K GTD

    Ouch - Had about 18 big blinds left and chose the wrong time to shove with my 10 7 - I wudda done it again tho given the circustances of the amount of times the same big stake was rasing - he just happened to have QQ this time lol - nearly hit str8 and 2 pair which would have put me in a great position to not only cash but make FT but not this time

     I,ve got a very bad record in $50 and £50 MTT,s (nothing out of about 6-8 - maybe 1 Bounty) but will still never just try to ladder but at least i,m getting into them from satelites. Got a $12 game on stars tommorow. Just started playing low stake satelites on there . I think this game is at least 15K GTD so will have loads of runners and i,ll have to get a lot of luck and win some flips

    Ouch again in the £200GTD where i was in 6th and took a bd beat on river against one of chip leaders - So close again but no cigar- cant remember now but something like QQ vs 78 all in on flop

    and for the 3rd time - ouch in the £11 BH - A J vs 73 AIPF ( He was tilting)

    Playing elsewhere tonight - I played a $12 game i,d satlited into the other but no luck

    Playing a $5 Freezout, 1.75 K GTD  a $3 rebuy PL $750 GTD  and a 50 cent rebuy 1.5k gtd

    Managed to reach level 12, 12 and 18 - Just on brk now - 

    EDIT - Another half an hour later and on the bubnble of the 1.75K GTD - $5 game

    Paid top 55 and one guy sat out with 1 ante left when someone makes a min raise from the button with a big stack. So with 14 big blinds had to shove with my AQ from the SB and found myself up agaianst A 10 off - happy days until he hits his ten and i,m bubble boy again for 3rd time in last 7 tournieys ( Or so i thought until i see someone else has gone on another table and it was only $10 but made the bad bt a little easier to take

    Still in the other 2 - 18 left out of 84 and 83 out of 534 - average in both

    Brk time - I was about to say i,d made the next brk in the other 2 but just crashed out of the 50 cent rebuy not on the bubble this time but one off in 74th after rasing pre on the SM with 56 hit my 6 on 2 4 6 rainbow board  - got it in against a 2 but he rivered an 8 to make 2 pair with his 2-8 off

    Anyway last one and theres 15 left from 84 with 12 paying starting at $18. Im in 11th tho - so work to do with 11 bigs in 11th

    EDIT _ Still going in the $750 PL game and i won,t be bublling this one as its just broke and with 84 runners were on the bubble for the FT. Got my stack up a bit and 6th now

    Brk time - Just finishing off in the $750 PLHE $3 rebuy and 5th of 6 so got $39 locked up but can this be the result i,ve been waiting for and to break the downsing - hope so

    EDIT - Not to be - Built my stack up and got it in with AKs vs AQ s - they spiked a queen to take the lead - $39 better than nothing but cant just get that bit of luck toward the end

    Cheers Chickenmelt - Haven,t been playing them to much of late 

    Was going to play a few games tonight incl. the ME but after playing a FR and a £2.40 satlite i,m staying away for a bit. i got timed out in the satelite , yet the FR was playing fine. Until this site starts getting a bit more reliable i can,t risk playing on here . It always seems to happen more often after siftware updates

    Playing a cpl of $5 MTT<s eslewhere. Theres a few £50 bountys and tournament tckts to be won as well on one of the games and going well on the brk

    Nice start to the Arsenal game tho

    EDIT _ Went out of the £200 GTD as my FH was beaten by quad 2,s and struggling in the £400 GTD so decided to cancel out of the 2K GTD BH as my confidence has just about gone. Everytime i lose a hand i seem resigned to losing the tourney and generally just don,t feel like playing

    EDIT: Played the £200 GTD which i always seem to start well in - Got up to 5k from 2k by the 1st brk but after finally getting aces managed to get it AIPF vs QQ only for a Q to come on the river which put me back to an average stack and then got it AIPF with 99 vs A8 and yet again on the river an Ace pops up. Never recovered from that and went out soon after

    The £5 DYM.s looked quite tough on SS so played a cpl of 5p/10p £3 max tables where i finished about evens - maybe a cpl of quid up

    I,ve felt like giving up recently but due to the promo this week on points i will be aiming for 50pts a day to get into the freerolls next month, so this will mean getting into cash again  (at least the swings won,t be as bad - although going off current form you never know). I,ll also be trying a few DYM,s as well as the usual satelites and maybe the odd MTT

    EDIT _ Didn,t have much time tonight so didn,t get any cash in . A cpl more losses in MTT,s tho. My graph is gonna be taking a battering on SS

    Had a dabble at cash but even struggled with 4 tables and came out losing slightly. Need to get back into it and build the tables up one by one. played 3 DYM,s which got me out of trouble today and just managed to get the 50pts i need to play one of the Freerolls in January

    (Its not showing on results but i did manage to win 2 x £5 DYM,s which should steady the graph a little from its downward spiral)

    had a disaster again on the micro cash. Lost £11 on the last hand where i really should have laid down my straight. the oppo had only been playing the nuts and it was a bad mistake by me which cost me. he wasn,t the only one. Everyone at 2p/4p and 4p/8p just seems to playing the nuts and 2nd nuts pretty much. Didn,t see one bluff in about an hour of play. It got so boring i think i let it tilt me

    these results arn,t so bad but i,m currently £10 down on 1 table just by trying to get cute with AQ and slow play it on the q high flop. It gave the opponent chance to catch me and i lost a buy in as a result

    EDIT - You can,t see on the results as i,ve just come off the cash table i was losing on but i did lose £11 on it. On the other hand the 15 min timed i managed to get back from 200 chips to finish with 1.7k so not that bad. Also managed to get another 50pts for the January freerolls

    I  stayed up till 6am watching some of the big boys play. It got my appetite back to play again, but after only 3 hours sleep and a few pints in the pub watching football today i,m shattered so was going to chill in front of the TV and have an early night.

    Although now i hope its not an early night as i used a code on facebook to get into a free £2.40 satlite for the 2K Bounty Hunter which i,ve just qualified for . It starts at half 9. Hopefully it will be a very late night

    Got my C4P and just tried some cash for half an hour during the happy hour to try and get the 50pts required for the Winterwonderland promo.     Not to bad all in all. Got a cpl of cashes in the £200 GTD and despite a bad start on the 4p/8p tables managed to keep my head and get back the cpl of buy ins i was down.
     Didn,t do to well in the £2.20 rebuy but never seem to whenever i play that one and the biggest dissapointment came in the £5.75 BH when i called an allin with A 3 early on. It was a bit of a rush of blood to the head and i knew as soon as i hit the button it was a mistake. Main reason for calling was the guy had already shoved twice but of course i was dominated by a better ace
    Probably the pleasing was the 3rd in the 1st £200 GTD and might have been better if my KK vs 44 wasn,t crushed by quads as we were down to 5 and had a slight lead but its the furthest i,ve got in a tourney on here for a while so quite happy with that and managed to get my 50pts target for the day

    First time I've been to this part of the forum for 3 months. I'm super-impressed to see your BR has grown by about 50% in that time. 

    Don't worry about the current mini-downswing, it's just a minor wobble, long-term results are excellent. Very well played Paul, keep up the good work.

    Cheers Gary. Would have been a nice confidence booster to take down the £200 GTD but these little profits are starting to halt the downswing a bit. I will keep it going tho . Look forward to your next chalenge on the forum

    Keep meaning to play some of the T51 games on stars but haven,t got around to it yet

    Its a sick sick game at times

    Had a bit of a mare tonight despite a good start

    Just been knocked out of a $10 freezout $2k GTD on a J77 board , I,d manged to get up to 8k from 2k and was a few off the cash when i decided to go with my JQ as he had been playing pretty recklessly so when he bet i shoved and he called with 95 off. I was just over 98% fav until he hit runner runner for a str8. This was about 2 minutes after i, went out of the 2K GTD BH on here after hitting my str8 i was feeling good until he showed the flush and that was me out 10 off the cash and in  a decent position before that hand. The 2 heads wern,t really much consolation

    Think its time for a short brk so i,ll add up when i get back from that

    EDIT - Currently 18th of 37 in a $3 rebuy on the cash bubble, but will need to make the FT if i,m going to be in profit for the night
