Rather than take a brk i,ve decided just to stick to micro stakes until i can get a few winning sessions strung togethor and get the roll back up a bit so gone back to the 2p/4p tables and a £3 timed tourney. I won,t be playing any MTT,s above £5 unless i satelite in

Made a mistake in last hand with trip aces. Should have laid it down. The guy was only playing made hands and on a board where i wasn,t beating much i managed to lose a buy in but apart frm that it went quite well

Woke up early so just had a cpl of games for half an hour. Started with the £5.75 as it was late reg and there were a few short stacks in there - thought i might be able to get a head or 2 but went out within 2 orbits - not good. Then played the £3 15 min as there it was a £20 GTD and there were only 5 playing which went better. had a little dabble on the 2p/4p x2 and a 5p/10p £3 max. Nothing eventful really and ended up about level but got a few pts so may play later and try and get to 50pts for the day

Played a $3 rebuy satelite earlier. Managed to get through that one w/o a rebuy to get into a $20 satelite then through that one into a $100 satelite. Just one in 5 away from a $500 game although i,ll be happy to take the leftover cash if its $300 or over as i,ve not slept yet

The suprising thing was the $20 satelite. There were 6 players with 2nd picking up $10 and 1st getting the $109 seat with 45 mins of late reg. No one late regd and despite getting my QQ crushed by a shove HU with 64 off managed to win it by level 2

EDIT : after a 4 hour wait it got cancelled as there was only 2 of us in it so got credited with $109 which i,m sure will pay for a few more satelites

shouldnt really update while playing , but been non stop for a few hours - mainly satelites about $3-$5 . Spent $39 but got entry for $65 worth of tourneys in 3 games . I,m gonna carry on playing them . Getting free tokens helps as well . Won 2 x $10 DYM,s with tcts

Playing elsewhere tonight although i might have a game on Sky after MOTD

Theres an interesting game on Betfair. Its a 1 euro rebuy, with 500 added but its also a re-entry, meaning you can enter up to 2 times from the beginning so its like having 2 seats in one tournament. Still in it with one of my entrys.

Just finished playing a freeroll on there as well. I won it but the payout structure was ridicilous. It had 129 runners with $250 in the pot but for some reason payed out the top 75 hwich is over half the field - No wonder there were so many ppl sat out - they probably all cashed. With it paying that much of the field there wasn,t  much left for 1st place and i picked up $22, which was a bit gutting as it if it had been on here it would have been around $70. I suppose its a win though and got a little £5 treble up on the football on the same site as well so will be making a a withdrawal on there tonight

A bit dissapointing, especially in the 3K Bounty Hunter which i satelited into. Got down to 400 chips early on , but somehow managed to get up to 17k and put myself in a good position although still had no heads and then ran my 10-10 into one of the chip leaders QQ and k8 in a 3 way pot which would have seen me take the lead but couldn,t find a ten and that was me gone

The £200 GTD was going well in the early stages as it always seems to but went card dead in the middle stages and had to shove with 88 which lost in a flip and that was me out of 2 games w/o a penny.

Despite not making any cashes was qiute happy with the way i played so not to disheartened

Couldn,t resist a little session while updating my diary earlier. I haven,t been playing on here much recently due to dis-connection issues and in the £25 GTD i thought it had cost me again as although i was down to 12 bigs i was in 2nd place from 6 with the top 3 paying. Someone who had been raising quite a lot made a min raise in late position and i was about to shove from the small blind with my QQ when it came up as away. This time it turned out as a blessing in disguise as even if id won the hand the cards would have been different as well as the table  dynamics and i managed to take it down from 18 players

Tried the new £2 freebuy in which you pay £2.20 and can get as many rebuys for FREE as you like within the the first 15 minutes and then the choice of an add on for 6k chips for another £2.20 after that. Its a new format Sky are trying and was quite an interesting game especially with 3 minute blind levels.
Was going well after the add on brk in which i did take the add on until this happened which would have put have put me in the lead with half the field left and top 5 paying

Only played 1 game on here tonight barring freerolls which i just cant seem to cash in
I was pretty much in the bottom 3 or 4 from 20 out after my 99 got done by A 10 earlier, leaving me with 1.1k  but managed a comeback and now sitting 2nd on FT from 73 runners in the £200 GTD with 40k after just doubling up

EDIT - ouch - My AKs just got busted by 55 then in the very next hand the chip leader rivered a flush against me which has put me bk into last with 5k

Getting to really like this game . Won it a few times now .A very satisfying win considering i was nursing a 15 - 20 BB stack from about 20 players to the FT. I did feel pretty confident once we were HU as the opponent hadn,t been putting much pressure on the big blinds despite having about 50% of the chips with 4 or 5 left and was pleased with the way i turned it round when i got into this position even if i was a little fortunate on the last hand spiking a king on te river to win although by that time i had turned a 3-1 chip disadvantage into a 2-1 lead without really catching much. I don,t know what it is with this particular tournament but after checking back through my results i,ve had 3 cashes and 2 wins from last 7 attempts so it does seem to suit me

EDIT - Couldn,t sleep so had half an hour on 3 x 2p/4p and 1 x 4p/8p.

Got off to a bad start and lost 2 buy ins str8 away at NL4 , but i,ve read in other diaries about ppl losing at the start of sessions and getting better as time goes on and i think in future what i need to start doing is to watch at least a few orbits before sitting down as your sitting down completely readless if your unfamiliar with that opponent. I,ve been to the casino a cpl of times in the last week and i wouldn,t dream of just sitting str8 down down and playing. I always watch for a bit before sitting plus it gives you a better idea of where to sit. So if theres a drunk guy playing loose for exapmle you want to be sitting to his left, so i need to start doing the same online. I was just happy to get my money back despite losing 1/2 a buy in on last hand when i ran my 99 into QQ and AK but got it away from it without losing more

I did ask a cpl of months back if this could be moved to General Poker Chat as i was on quite a big downswing and wanted to get some advice. With recent results the downswing has halted a bit , but i don,t want to go there again and looking back over the last cpl of pages there hasn,t been much input from anyone else as a large majority of ppl don,t visit this part of the forum and now i,ve changed my browser from Chrome to Firefox it means i can post hands again which i would appreciate some feedback on. I want to try and improve my game a bit and the best way to do this would be to get more ppl viewing it and giving me advice on where i,m going wrong

So if there are any mods out there reading this could you please move my thread to GPC.
