Thank you very much for the support, it means a great deal to me. I so wish some of you guys were here with me, Vegas is the nuts. Big thanks to Ryan for the Updates, and latte refills. Ryan has given up a days poker in Vegas to do this Update, much respect to him for that. Posted by Tikay10
Just make sure you enjoy every hand, every moment.....and hopefully your railing crew back home can enjoy every update!
I'd love it so much if you managed to bink this Tikay, more so than any other player in the tournament. Or even just running deep is awesome. I'll do anything for a good sweat! Best of luck, sir.
So Tikay opens AQdd to 425. Gets 3bet (or in his words repopped) to 1025. He calls. Sees a flop of JJQ. Tikay bets and gets raises. Finds the fold. Was shown AA. Stack is looking at around 30,000. Latte count is currently 2. Posted by scotty77
Ok so Tikay has had a table move and is now on 396 in Amazon Orange.
He said that he was really enjoying his last table and didn't want it to break as he had tangled with 'Mr Bluffer' 3 times and had won all 3 and was confident of it continuing.
But table draws is just one of those totally random things that happen in live poker, just like online.
TBH I had a look at his new table and if I were sitting down then I would be fairly happy.
Raised UTG with J-J, both black, first hand I have played at this table since I arrived, two hours ago.
5 (FIVE) callers, flop came K-Q-4, all hearts.
White flag, next case.
Korean guy took it, don't trust him an inch, but not the easiest spot for me to lead out with the pot so big, two overs, three hearts, and half the table laying in wait.
Apparently the table Tikay is on is very loose and very aggro.
Awkward in some ways but also nice in others in that should he wake up with a monster there are likely gonna be a lot of plastic betting discs already in the pot for the taking.
Blinds 200/400/50a with something like an hour 40 to go.
So a guy opens for 1000 at 200/400/50. Another guy jams 8000 (20bb). The BB rejams 20,000 in chips.
The original opener SNAPS.
They turn over their hands. 20bb guy has 99. The BB rejam has AQ. The guy who has called the 2 all ins has T6off. He's horrified and claimed that he thought he had TT.
Board runs out J8457.
The 99 is celebrating the treble up. The T6 guy is still distraught from the misread and is kicking his chair. It takes 10/15 seconds for them both and the dealer to actually realise that the T6o has a 4 card straight.
Sorry for the poor quality but I only had a couple of seconds before the dealer scooped in the cards. Tikays stack is to the left of the coffee cup. http://tinypic.com/r/jkaw76/5

Blinds are now 150/300. Just under 2 hours to play until the dinner break.
this is great. went to bed hours ago... but now up just to see tikay's progress. ty ryan. sleep tikay. glgl.
Guy limps UTG1, another limps BTN, SB folds and TK checks the BB. 1050 in the pot pre.
Flop is KKQ rainbow and Tikay checks. UTG1 bets 600. BTN folds and Tikay calls.
Turn is a J and Tikay checks. UTG1 bets 1000 and Tikay folds.
Tikay had AQ. Sound a good fold?
Next hand I see it folded to Tikay in the SB and he makes it 1000 to go and the BB snap folds.
Looks to still be going along nicely with something around 32/33k
Blinds are now 150/300/25a
Play for 2 more levels/4 more hours.
First is a chat with One Drop 2012 Champion Antonio Esfandiari
And here is Tikay showing you around the corridors of the Rio and into the Pavillion Convention Centre

Latte count is at 3
Got to be in contention for one of the chip leaders at this point, with blinds being 150/300/25a
Feeling comfortable.
