    In Response to Re: OFFICIAL TOTAL PLAYER THREAD : I am not a Referee, or Arbitrator, and this is NOT a "ruling", it's simply my personal opinion. But..... No - not at all. My understanding of the Rules is that so long as each TP-er completes the minimum requirement that is stipulated, over the three evenings, then over & above that, they can play whatever they want, at whatever level. As long as it's on Sky Poker. ;) But that is ONLY my personal opionion. It's up to the Players to read & interpret the Rules as they see fit, & if in doubt, they should speak to their Mentor.

    Right that's me done for the evening.

    Bad stuff out the way first - played 3 mtts tonight and busted in all when going in ahead pre...... no complaints as it'll be mine tomorrow ;) Feel I played well in them and got myself into good positions.

    Cash - played for a while and was up until a crash towards the end of the session which knocked me back to a smaller profit than had been coming.

    SNGs - played 4 DYM's - 3x £22 and 1 x £33 and cashed in all 4 :)  Got myself into good positions and felt I was running good throughout.

    RESULTS : MTT = -£25

                   CASH= +£8

                   SNG = +£81

                   TOTAL = +£64

    End of Day 1, and despite a few bad plays, and a general run cold in SNG's I've really enjoyed the challenge.

    Stats first :

    Overall : -£54.71
    Tourneys : -£11
    SNG's : -£85
    Cash : +£41.29

    My strategy was to play a block of SNG's, alongside the Open, for the first 1.5 - 2 hrs, then grind the cash tables, until late on when I might load up a tourney / SNG.

    Pleased that I stuck with this, although after the block of SNG's I felt a bit frazzled, and it took me 20 minutes or so of cash to really settle down and play.

    Generally ran v.bad in SNG's, ok in cash and played the tourneys pretty badly.

    My real weakness in the tourneys was that I didn't know any of the players, and the play was so variable from player to player, I was second guessing myself.
    A good approach would be to play super tight early, but I got a bit too involved and need to really focus on improving this for tomorrow.

    Made a couple of mistakes in SNG's, but deserved more than I got.

    Had a couple of good situations in cash.

    Raised a limper with 8h5h, 2 callers.
    Flop KhTh6h, get it in against a set of tens and fade the house.

    Reraised from the CO with AdKd, flop JdTd7s, get it in versus QQ and hit a flush on the river.

    Probably not +EV having any of the other 5 on the same table, but was a good vibe when we met up, despite the competitive edge.

    Looking forward to session 2 tomorrow.

    Ok....after watching all six of my players and speaking with 5 of them (Nutter?!? - we've got to figure that out), I know one thing for sure. I am going to hate Saturday! It's going to be so hard to make eliminations. Not only are all of the players good, but they are all so committed to getting better. Well done everyone. I'm proud to be part of this community - must say....

    Ok so here is the stats for my night after just finishing.

    MTTs - Played 6 and cashed in two - One first and a Third for + £78.94
    DYMS - Played 14 and cashed in 8 - + £28
    Hu Sngs - Played 7 and won 5 for + £61.50
    Cash - Played for about 40 mins and lost £22

    Total tonight then is + 146.55

    I'm pretty annoyed with tonight and how i got off to a very good start winning the 7pm tourney and a couple of Hu sngs straight away to give me a huge boost. As the night progressed though I started getting some beats and just stayed on course without it affecting the way I was playing as I know its part of the game. 

    My Double your Money game was pretty awful tonight to and I aim to correct that tomorrow night for sure and get another tourney win somewhere along the line :) also cash wise I can't believe the calling range of all the players pre-flop ! definitely something I'll adjust to when I do my cash session.

    Look out for fireworks tomorrow night its been awesome and i'm loving the challenge of this STAR avatar which is like a magnet for attention :) Good luck the rest of the TP'ers tomorrow.

    wow! just finished! - Bubbled the cash :(

    Anyway started at 7pm, HU sng staring me in the face! y not? - played, 7.01 - minus £11, tens  v  kings pre flop, not a HU specialist but Id say thats abit of a cooler!

    DYM! - Out, pushing 33 with 8 bb's on the bubble, called by QQ who suggested he called as Id pushed one too often. Nothing to do with him holding QQ then? lol

    Anyway, after a nightmare start, cashed my next 3 DYMS and won my next 2 HU sngs.

    Played a normal sit n go, got heads up, managed to work away at the other guy to get the chip lead, then took my "free shot" by shoving with queen high, he found AJ (less than 5 bb's)  n he held. Worked hard to get it even again, then got him all in with m KJ dominating his K5, the boss was watching here, and he RIVERED a 5! ugh that hurt! - big swing with the prize structure on here.

    Main event - took 2 heads! then the blinds got krazy, couple of c bets got re raised, n that was that.

    Entered the 9pm gtd, this was the real sickner. Raised the button JQ diamonds. Flop 9 high 2 diamonds. Donk bet, I raise, call. Turn a queen, Top pair , 3rd nut diamond draw. He donks again, Im all in here, so many outs. Anyway he has the same draw, no pair. River is  diamond! Happy days! Ugh - he had an inside straifght flush draw! Ouch - :(

    Onto cash, steady start, fired 3 barrels with 22, when the fd missed, sure enough he let it go. Then hit TP TK with ak, v oppos K7, turned 2 pair on me, n that was that.

    Just finished the bounty hunter that started at 11. 1 head! Final tabled, top 5 paid, DOHHH 6th, putting pressure on left right n centre, for every 2 sets of blinds u nik, the third time u try and get caught, whipes the other 2 out. Such a passive ft, ran my AJs into ak, who happened to be the chip leader, and again, that was that!

    Final result - £476!  - Absolutely no idea what the breakdown is! Im nackered! and guin to bed! lol

    Just finished for the night, well what an experience!!

    I have never experienced a night like this before in my life!!
    Nothing went right for me tonight as you will see in the following analysis, I have never folded a many hands before in my life and would not be suprised if I had the highest number of folded hands in Sky poker history, the cards I got were that bad and whenever I tried to get creative and raise in position, someone would call and then after the flop just pushed All in or at times they would mix it up and check to me, I would c bet and then they would Tank it!! To add to my problems my laptop crashed a total of 5 times tonight, its not built for multi tabling lol!!

    Anyway tonight has tught me loads about myself in Poker, instead of getting frustrated which at times is to easy to do, I just became patient, tonight wasn't my night with the cards therefore I needed to ride the bad times and limit the damage and that is what I did. Anyway, here goes...

    I entered 5 DYM £11 - Won 1, lost 4, Loss of - £35 - had so many bad beats but they happen so I won't go into that.

    Cash - I played 2 and a half hours, and made around £29, I had a really tough table and didn't have many hands to play with, Mr Tuck can vouch for that - it didn't get any better once you left mate lol!! But what I am glad with that I learned a lot from that time on the table and incoporated some things that myself and Tuck had spoken about, made some good laydowns, and also was able to maximise, I believe, when I had a good hand (about 3 times I think lol), so again not a big profit but at least it's something to show from a long grind!!

    MTT - Main event - I was out quite early, guy raises, I go all in with QQ he calls after a long think and calls with KJ off, King on the turn - okay lets move on.
    £1500 BH, went out early again ran my KK into A9 (suited this time though lol) alas an Ace on the turn.
    Okay, next, £1000, ran quite deep - top 100 i believe, somwhere, anyway, I raise, guy re raises, I decide to give him no respect because he did this a lot, and because im out of position I decide to go All in, I have AQ, he shows A4, Turn 4, River 4, bye bye me. 
    Was about to give up for the evening when I thought that I would give the £300 BH a shot, managed to go down to 790 chips when again card dead, I tried to be creative - stupid me - I try and represent a Flush on the turn but the guy says "no, no, im All in because I actually have the Nut flush" - I am a donk sometimes!! Anyway grindded away once again, picked my spots to steal blinds etc and managed to represent hands that I didn't have and somehow managed to final table, once the money bubble burst it all went a bit crazy and managed to find an A10, so pushed and got called by A7, nice double up here i thought!! Turn 7, River 7!! Those Turns and Rivers didn't like me tonight, but Im not complaining because Im going to give people bad beats tommorrow to balance things out!!
    Overall in MTT - a loss of £2.75

    All of which leaves my BR standing at £489.57, I am over the moon with this total because believe me it could have been a lot worse!!

    Well done fellas - I know myself that it can be hard taking those beats when you know it's a very important few days for you but fingers crossed it does change. If not then hopefully your play will shine through despite the bad luck.

    hi im fairly new to skypoker.... but been playing 3 1/2 years and enjoy a sensible game were people think before they act and i am looking to meet new people and discuss the game ....
    I play most variations of the game ....
    i like no limit holdem razz an stud hi/lo...
    once i been here awhile i`ll be quite active in forum threads .

     Hello Forum followers !!

    Better late than never is one of my favourite sayings.

    So here it is, hope you dont get too bored

    My initial plan was to play all the ten £11 STTs on monday that we have to play and then grind on some of the lower cash tables, 10p/20p & 15/30 tables, but multi tabling six tables at a time. After the tenth comment from other players at the table saying 'you are breaking the rules' i stopped playing the low stakes to re read the rules.

    At least 10 Sit & Go’s at £11+At least 3 hours of cash table play at £0.25/0.50+The 8pm Tournament on each of the 3 nights (They will be bought into each tournament, this will not be deducted from their bankroll)

    After reading them again it seemed to me that i only had to play 3 hours of 25p/50p +

    but anyway i thought surely this many ppl cant be wrong so i played 25/50

    at this point my Bank role was at £550.00 (tidy)

    But as i switched to the nosebleed 25p50p stakes ;-) things turned a little sour.

    I made a few mistakes and wasnt playing my best and by 11 PM in full tilt mode my role was now at £381.97 (oh dear)

    So anyway as to not dwell in the past i will move on and put in a big effort tonight (tuesday) will play in a couple of MTTs and play solid in some cash games.

    I would appreciate any donations of any size ;-)

    Just wondering if u can see hole cards, hear audio?  It really annoys me with zooming in, will try to figure out how to stop that. And i wasnt really discussing much - may be an idea to record audio after the games.

    Can hardly hear the audio. Tried turning up the volume on my laptop but didnt make any difference.

    Started 475, played 2 HU sng's n won em. Then entered a 22DYM with nutter and penguin, what a stupid move that was. I really dont know why I bother with those. Anyway I donked off in that - probli the last Ill ever play, in fact, definitely the last Ill ever play.

    So onto cash, steady start, the doubled my buy on on both tables simulataniously honest cudnt believe it, had £220 all in pre on 2 tables at the same time, didnt know where to look. Had the best hand pre both times and thankfully both held up. Played well after that, made another few quid, on one table, I had glitterbabe, cowgomoo, offshoot and browndog! - 3 tp's and a shud be tp-er! Tough table!

    Main event! Went deep!!!!! Was 8/100, n got moved to another table where guess who greeted me? No only 2 tp'ers, 2 TP finlists! - Dan and SBITE! UGH! I played okay, made a bad play towards the end, as the captain was watching, eek, but we discussed it, and Ive learnt. finished in the 20's, glad I managed to cash a main event.

    Half an hour left! bak to HU ng's, played 3, lost 2, 1 was a sik beat, all in pre cooler, my QQ binked by 99, no complaints.

    As it stands, Just entered the 11pm Bhunter, if this fails, I still end with £635, which is a big improvement on yest. Cud be alot better, but im happy with it.

    PS! - just read thru the post, theres soooo many missing letters with my sticky keyboard, I canny be bothered to correct them all! lol Just make it up ;)

    Ughhhhh just bust the BH, trying my new strategy of weird raise amounts! Blinds 100/200, raise 567, called, Flop top 2, Bet 789, called, Turn - just shove it, He snaps with the nuts, having called with a gut shot and 2 overs, Oh well nvm. 

     ( 3 T J,     Q...) 

    Onto my account to play my new fave game HU SNG!!!! :)

    Great fun this TP thing - last night was a different type of fun, coping with the nerves etc, today, had fun "freeing my arms" so to speak, loving every minute!

    Results (Day 2)  +£104.12

    SNG                       +£18      (played 2 cashed in 2 wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.......)

    Tourneys             -£39       (played 4 no cashes, still in a 5th one)

    Cash                      +£125.12

    Results (Overall) +£49.41 (Bankroll £549.41)

    SNG                       -£67       (played 11 cashed in 5)

    Tourneys             -£50       (played 6 no cashes, still in a 7th one)

    Cash                      +£166.61

     

    SNG

    Played 2 DYM’s, one  NLHE, and one PLO - Total player see ;o)

    Both were much softer than the TP populated ones yesterday, but played better as well, and rarely in danger.

    Takes my SNG score to 5 cashed in 11, but cash wise not good as done better in £11 than £22 ones.

    Tourney

    Again played much better than yesterday.

    Shoved over a raiser with JJ in the Open, with 17 Bigs, only to run into QQ.

    Lost KK vs AK all in on a T hi flop (1st hand of the tourney), and raised with AA, 1 caller, glop T44, all in to see 34. GG.

    Cash

    Played mostly 4 tables, until cut down to play a few tourneys after 9.30pm.

    Felt pretty good mostly.

    Lost 1 stack when I had just called with QQ against an aggro LP raiser, and get it in on an 8 hi flop to see KK.

    Called a couple of river bets that were marginal at best, and pretty bad at worst, but generally played ok.

     

    TBH I am really enjoying this, and its a shame in a way we only have 1 more day (although given work in the day, then straight into this, I guess I will be pretty tired by tomorrow night.

    Biggest disappointment so far is my MTT results / some of my play in these. Will be giving it my very best shot tomorrow to sort this out.
