GL all today playing. Where possible, could we have Sky Poker aliases for the players. Posted by MAXALLY
If I know them, yes, but I won't recognize too many I'm afraid.
I'll try & do a bit of an Upodate, but can't promise Tighty standard.
I've just got me a brand new camera (don't ask), its currently on charge, so if I can fathom out how to work it, & get photos of, there'll be a few of those as we progress.
Am on my way...... Am currently in the Starbucks at Leicester Forest East Services, between J21 & 21a of the M1. A most interesting Service Station, sandwiched between two of the most fascinating Motorway Junctions in the East Midlands. More of this exciting news will follow. Much more. Posted by Tikay10
Tikay, we'll assume you're not playing the main as you're "Front of House" and it sounds as though you're not playing the mini, but are you playing any of the other events this time around?
Bear with me whilst I get myself organised, & try & get this camera thing working, then I'll answer any questions, & we'll try & get some fun going. Posted by Tikay10

It is a difficult service station to exit. In an HGV trying to build up speed and having to cross both an exit slip then join the main carriageway causes dangerous situations for the HGV and oncoming traffic, some speeding up others slowing down. Then you always have the idiots that remain in the outside lane of the M1 until the last possible moment then try to join the off ramp causing those behind braking hard, thus creating a tailback of other braking cars. I never used that service stn, I came of at jct 18 for crick, and at the roundabout took the rugby exit, travel 1/2 mile into the truck stop. Clean, cheap, good food, with showers and parking for 100s. There are many such places all over the UK but im sure you know them, if not ill willingly help HUGS ALSO FOR YOUR INTEREST JUCTION 18 IS WHERE THE BAKERS DOG FOOD IS TINNED AND you may see a ring of pylons on the left if your northbound, these are the transmitters for UK submarines
You have to use a tinsy winsy Memory Card, less than the size of a fingernail.
Then, to extract the photos, you need to remove it from the camera, & insert it into the PC slot.
So they give you a normal sized Memory Card to use as an "adaptor".
You slot BOTH cards into the PC slot, download the photos, boomio.
All good so far then, & I downloaded a test photo.
Now we are up & running, lets go take some more photos.
First, we need that tiny Memory Card from the PC Slot, so we press the Big Memory Card & it pops out. But the tinsy one has not come back out, & is presumably stuck in there. The slot is mega thin, & I can't see in it, or poke anything in it to ease out the mini memory card.
And no, the camera will not take photos without a memory card in it.
All going well here then.
Might go get a coffee to calm myself down, then go get some chip counts.

The 6 Max Mini costs £250 to enter, carries a £150,000 Guarantee, & so needs 600 runners.
Entries so far for Day 1a?

Worried? Nah, no. Well ok, yes, a bit.....
Great start.
My old camera shows "SYSTEM ERROR (ZOOM), & won't function.
So went to Currys this morning & got a shiny new Samsung 21X, & a Memory Card.
The "Quick Start" operating instructions are in foreign......
The Memory Card does not fit, it seems to need a very small one.
ytrmcytydys5aw5rws35wa
So I'd best go find a local shop & get me a Memory Card that actually fits.
Apologies. Back soon. Ish.
We are back.
Just have to fit the Mini Memory Card now. And the Mini-Maxi Memory Card Adaptor.
First, we have to get the Mini Memory Card out of the shrink-wrap. You ever tried that without scissors?
Sheesh, Tighty, HELP
But in better news, we have a few more entries now.

Just another 542 to go then. Nope, still not worried.
Be back with you once I fit this Memory Card & find out how to up-down load.
Over/under on how long that'll take?
TESTING TESTING, can you hear me Mother?
BOOMIO
OK, we might be making progress here.
