Still reading your great posts TK. On another subject i came across The Falkirk Wheel watching some randon TV program today. How awesome is that !!! Who said British Engineering was a thing of the past? Posted by VespaPX
Is this the canal device that has replaced a series of locks?

I'll ask him later, but most of the Big Boys I've spoken to seem to have set up camp for the week.
Early days yet, but I'm thrilled to bits so far. The Mini beat it's Guarantee, & the High Roller is already almost there, & sure to beat it, & most of the faces we hoped would come are already here.

Awesome bit of kit.
There is an animation of it working halfway down the right hand side of this page. (The 2nd one, not the YouTube vid).

Wow, I didn't realise that. I saw it on the antiques hunt program I think.
The Super Roller ended up with 53 Entries, + 7 rebuys, so the prize pool is £180,000.
At present, 37 remain. No idea what time it's Day One will finish tonight, but it'll be plenty late.
It resumes at Noon tomorrow, at the same time as the Main Event, Day 1a, commences. An hour later, @ 1pm, the Pot Limit Omaha is due start, though I fancy that may be delayed until a bit later, due to lack of runners. Not sure where the PLO runners will come from if the High Roller & Main Event are running, but I guess we'll see soon enough. I really do hope it gets a decent field.
Tighty will be here tomorrow, & for the rest of the week, Updating the Main Event, but I'm sure he'll give a few Updates of all the sideys, including the late stages of the High Roller thing.
Thanks Rose. We LIKE idle chit chat. It's my speciality. I was reading about the Honda C90 today. Over 60 million of them have been sold. How incred is that? 60 milly! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Super_Cub Posted by Tikay10
I have a 1976 one in my garage! I've been restoring it since circa 1990. :-(

47 entries now, 2 men overboard, but I think they have both re-entered. As you do.
Luke Schwartz arrived, complete with entourage, but has yet to enter.

For the less nerdy amongst you, who cba to look, it is a boat lift. It lifts boats.
Apparently guy invented it playing with kids meccano set!
An interesting entry is Elior Sion, who made a bit of a stir in Vegas this year. I think he is a monster stake cash game player.
Looks about 12 years old, & same height as Matt Bates.
Proper animal. Elior, I mean, not Matt. Matt'd be a Lesser something.
Latest entry is Lord Ian Gascoigne.
Luke seems to be playing Online, guess he intends to register late.
The first break is complete, & play has resumed.
The blindy things are 250-500/50.
Another Main Event satellite is just commencing here.
Entrants include Andrew1947, TommyD, & JAKALLY.
And in the High Roller, Middy has joined the fray.
This lovely banner, across the entrance to DTD has been re-located.
It is now draped across the front of a tall lorry, last seen heading east on the A52 towards Grantham.
Sigh, it was such a great sign, too.
On the positive side, our Tourney is being advertised far & wide.
We now have 50 entries.
So far, so good, 2 events, both with ambitious Guarantees, both covered.
Just 4 more to go, then.
Thanks Rose.
