    Hi Tikay,

Enjoying the updates. How many do you think will be left after tonight's play has finished?

  • edited August 2014

  • edited August 2014

2 levels remain, and there are still 83 players.

Average stack is 203,000, with blinds going 2,000-4,000/500, so close to 50 Bigs average.

Remarkable performance by Jac35 who, despite his woeful limitations, was short stacked all afternoon but now has 230,000.

    How do these things happen?
  • edited August 2014
    Today's final level has commenced.

65 players remain, so it looks like 50+ will survive.

    Play has concluded for today.

The plasma shows 53 runners, but we need to await confirmation, as there may be slightly less.

I will sort out the competition winners in the morning, when all the numbers are confirmed. I still don't have details of today's biggest stack.

53 remaing according to DTD site. Are the pay outs known yet?

Good to see Jac35 following my advice of treating it like the biggest DYM he's ever played. Foolproof.

Good morning, good morning, good morrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrning.

Welcome to a VERY wet Nottingham, which is currently experiencing monster rain, it is throwing down here. I might have to return to the Hotel later & get a change of clothes, my trousers, shirt, socks & shoes are wet through.

But for now, I'll sort out yesterday's two Community Comps first, then we'll get this Update party started.

I cannot access the payouts yet, but will Post them as soon as poss.

Am pretty sure the top 65 all get paid, & in addition, the top 50 will all get a £1,000 Sky Poker UKPC 6-Max Main Event seat.

The winner gets a lovely Bracelet, too.
  • edited August 2014

    Also.....

If someone final tables the Mini AND the Main, they will win a £20,000 Mini. (T & C's apply, also if 2 or more achieve it, the "best" aggregate position gets the car).

There are various T & C's attached, just sensible things, & there is a cash alternative of, I think, £15,000.

...and Ryan Spittles, aka Scotty 77, gets his Mini stack (105,000) in & gets looked up.

    Ryan has A-K, & Villain has A-10.

    It comes....

    J-9-3

    Ooh, some back doors...

    Then 7

    Noooooo?

But the river is a blank Queen, & Ryan has a full 2xUp.

3 BIG bubbles coming up then......the cash one, the seat one and the final table one. Will be some twitching going on in that room today.....and I don't mean bird watching. Talking of which.....not one photo of any of the valets......gutted.

Behave Alan, Tighty is the man for valet photos.

This is more my style. Like?

Ryan Spittles has doubled AGAIN, flush over flush, & is now just south of 500,000.

Rupinder Bedi, aka George2Loose, won his seat in a WSOP Fantasy League next door, so he is on a freeroll.

He just found himself in a peculiar spot n a 3 way pot.

    Flop is 10-9-3.

Young lady shoves for about 150,000.

Rupinder is last to act, but I see his hand, K-10, he is not loving life, but will be calling.

But the other guy in the hand makes the call, & so Rupinder now has to fold.

The Lady had him crushed with A-10, the other bloke has same hand - K-10 - so great fold.

    Turn blanked, river was......K!

sick. so so sick. sick game. sick. this is so sick........

Kind of like. The bus system I did like in Nottingham, then the trams ruined the city centre IMO. I used to just about know my way round the streets to get to various family members in the city. Since the trams, I have got lost on numerous occasions plus fined last time i was at DTD for driving in a tram lane!

    76 players remain.

In one of those weird things, (online they'd say it was rigged) Ryan is now sharing a table with Dan Brown.

Two WSOP Bracelet Winners remain in the Tourney, Lawrence Gosney & Willie Tann.

Here's Lawrence, obviously spellbound by the story I was telling him about various concrete mixes I have seen in my lifetime. An hour later, as I developed the theme, Lawrence lost the will to live.
