I'm surrounded by discarded Memory Card shrink-wrap boxes, cables, batteries, & Lord knows what else. Oh, & 2 cameras, neither of which I can persuade to function.

Just had a long chat with Rob Yong, & he's convinced if we meet today & tomorrow's Target, 300 on Saturday will be easy.

In an HGV trying to build up speed and having to cross both an exit slip then join the main carriageway causes dangerous situations for the HGV and oncoming traffic, some speeding up others slowing down. Then you always have the idiots that remain in the outside lane of the M1 until the last possible moment then try to join the off ramp causing those behind braking hard, thus creating a tailback of other braking cars. I never used that service stn, I came of at jct 18 for crick, and at the roundabout took the rugby exit, travel 1/2 mile into the truck stop. Clean, cheap, good food, with showers and parking for 100s. There are many such places all over the UK but im sure you know them, if not ill willingly help                                                          HUGS ALSO FOR YOUR INTEREST  JUCTION 18 IS WHERE THE BAKERS DOG FOOD IS TINNED AND you may see a ring of pylons on the left if your northbound, these are the transmitters for UK submarines

GREAT Post Sir, great post. More of the same, please.

Loved those transmitters, though sadly, as far as I know, those masts & transmitters are all now obsolete & redundant, & will soon make way for a housing estate.

The remaining four 'tall' masts were demolished on the afternoon (around 1500 hrs local time) of August 2, 2007 – with no prior publicity of this end of an era. However the majority of the smaller masts still stand awaiting demolition before becoming a housing estate
