Ah ha, mystery solved, for me at least. I was probably the only one who didn't know :=)
P.S. As per my previous pledge. 2% of any live winnings if I final table is pledged (I finished 9th in a 25/25 earlier in the year, which was worth about £22 to the charities. However, I will wait until the end of the year to see if I can manage anymore live final tables before calculating a final figure)
Great effort keeping this going and brilliant to see the amount being raised for charity.
Thanks for popping in to say hello on the 9pm BH FT. Pleased to let you know that I did manage to TID and also FT the 10.30pm speed. That counts as a very good evening for me!
I know I'm not playing this game, but nevertheless please add £10 to my previous pledge in lieu of good fortune this evening.
Anyone going to the GPS Mini at Luton this week? If so, what day, perhaps we could meet there. Cheers, Graham. P.S. Hi Graham,
I will be playing the day 1A online for this event, and then potentially going for the day 2 if I manage to get through.

Cool, I'll hope to see you on Day 2 then. Best of luck!
Didn't see you leave the Luton tourney, i Final tabled the tourney, and with 7 left we made a deal that everyone locked up £7,015 each, and the winner would take the additional £15k. Which was great because I was the short stack! I busted a few hands later with AQs<77. But throw in another £10 to the charity prize pool from me.
Managed to take down tonight's £55 Speed BH, got lucky against Chris, Matt and Adam on the final table. Twas fun! :=) Cheers, Graham Posted by StayOrGo
Hey, roughly how long did it take for you to take that one down? comtemplated playing it a few times but not quite sure on time commitment..

Great stuff Gareth!
Just for clarification, shall I put you down for a £20 donation? The tenner to my charity (our prop bet for number of runners) and a tenner to the prize pool?

I'm sure you are aware of the sad loss of one of Sky Poker's players, Dale Edwards. AKA (FlyingDaag), who passed away last week.
Larson7 has kindly set up a thread where you can make a donation to McMillan Cancer Support.

I wish you continued success my friend.

Well pride comes before a fall. since that day, I have lost 5 consecutive heads up battles.
Note to self. Poker karma will bite you in the **** as soon as the ego gets carried away. :=)
Lesson leaned (I hope)
Anyhow, Mr Bates has a FAR better heads up record than me. :=)
Also, good luck to Gareth Smith on Sunday. He goes to the Genting Luton Mini GPS Final Day with a monster stack />200K

My plan for the two competitions is to have a trophy for each that get passed around each year.
On them will be engraved, the winners name, alias and amount of profit. Or in the case of the tournament wins comp, the number of points.
These trophies will be kept for a year by the winner(s) and passed on to the following year's champion(s).
My question is, will this suffice, or should we have a permanent trophy too, that the victor(s) can keep?
I don't mind doing both, but if it is just going to "clog up" trophy cabinets, then we can just pass the yearly one around.
All feedback greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Graham
