another small loss on the games tonight, play well for the most part player terribly in a couple of games, still have so much to work on. the one thing i need to work on the most is not playing games with timmy, man he runs good, he makes 30/70's look like 90/10's gets quite deflating tbh
Went from playing really well and running horribly, to playing well and winning was about £50 down at oen point so another £33 profit is a good result in the end, also loads of poker points and will have priority status for the second month running by the end of the weekend i hope.
Another ridiculously sick day, even got the good players making stupid calls today but doesnt make any difference if they keep on getting there, i guiess its all varience from my good run last month and i have to just keep on getting it in good, but is frustrating at times.
One of the most tilt inducing sessions i have undured on the site. ran horribly at the start, which caused me to play horrinly in the middle (include a few level 1 rage shoves) then i got myself a cofee some dinner calmed down and managed to go from being -£113 for the session to +£7 some turn around. hoping i can carry the form into tomorow.

One day soon im going to start a session without going £70-£100 and im gonna have a great day.
Same as normaly today terrible start warmed up and managed to grind it all back and finish in profit, im about -£70 for the month so far but ive earnt myself a decent points bonus which covers that so i can really mona, tbh i think if i finish this month break even and just take the bonuses with all the decent players playing Dyms that wouldnt normally that has to be seen as a good result.
the first game i played this morning had players who had won around £160,000 on sky not including bonuses. and while i have improved as a player, playing against that standar of opposition is never going to be optimal, cant wait for this week to be done, im happy getting just 10 points per game thanks!
really happy with todays session played well, figured out a couple of the guys that have come over to steal the double points and feel im playing better agianst them then i maybe had been the last week or so.
2 outer after 3 outer after 2 outer tonight so sick, keep getting the chips in good i keep telling myself, but its alot harder to stay positive at the bigger buy in levels keep getting tempted to abandomn my brm and just flick it in to a HU Hyper at stupid stakes but so far avoided the temptation so thats got to be seen as an improvement i guess. will come back and try again in next day or so. will avoid timmy because he doesnt lose hands and its boring how well he runs is it even fair that someone is so good and then runs well on top of that?
i dont understand how i can understand vareince but not understand it at the same time i lost 37 out of 82 £11 dyms today off those losees i would suggest around 20 were Big pair vs little pair with little pair hitting a set, its getting to be more than a little bit crushing, keep getting it in good i keep telling myself it will turn, ill have another good run like in december, but its harder and harder to keep telling myself that when the cards are saying something else.

Your holding your own Lee not long ago you were playing £3 DYms. Keep going.
yet again feel i played very well was £70 down at one point £60 up a hour or so later then ended up being £60 down again.. ran terribly in all ins once again. keep getting it in ahead... keep getting it in ahead....
Stick at it Lee, believe in yourself and keep doing what you have been, the worst thing you can do when have a bed run is begin to question yourself, natural ofc, but dont doubt yourself.
Gl matey, sure you will be back on top again soon.

I'd disagree slightly, I think we always need to be analysing and questioning our own performance, but agree with you that becoming overly analytical and self critical when losing is a bad thing.
The implication being we need to be constantly looking at strategies and trying to improve whilst staying level headed, regardless of results.
Just like it's a trap to think we must be doing something wrong when losing, I'd say it's equally or even more dangerous to assume that we're playing well because we're winning.
Try not to get lazy with study and self assessment when you're winning and likewise try not to panic and over compensate when losing. Keep an open mind, obsess about the process and try (hard as it may be) to make results secondary.
GL, I enjoy clicking the thread and seeing how you got on at the end of each day. (although it took me a while to spot the - sign above the results, I thought you never ever lost for a while!! doh!)

Wise words.
So easy to become complacent when winning and believe we are mere 'victims' of varience when losing.
My OP was more meant as words of encouragement than sound advice : )

I shall take this sound advice on board as I have been questioning my ....bed....run lately
Don't you just hate it when someone picks up on these things )
