WSOP44 - $50K Poker Players Championship, 84 entrants, Day 5 of 5
Five years ago, Mike Gordoinsky won his first major live event by winning a mixed-game event at the PCA beating Jean-Robert Ballande heads-up.
Now in 2015, he has taken down his second bracelet and the Chip Reese Trophy (together with the small matter of over one and a quarter million dollars) by winning the mixed-game 50K Poker Players Championship by beating Jean-Robert Ballande heads-up.
It is "Gordo"'s second bracelet (he won an Omaha/Stud Hi-Lo split event 2 years ago) and vaults him into the lead in the Player of the Year Standings. Ballande remanins bracelet-less.
David "ODB" Baker was 3rd, Ben Sulsky 4th & Chris Klodnicki 5th.
WSOP45 - $1500 NLH, 1655 entrants, Day 4 of 3
This one went to Sri-Lanka born American player Upsehka Da Silva who knocked out 7 of the 8 opponents on the FT to take the bracelet and $424K. Da Silva, who had made the FT of the 2013 Millionaire Maker event, beat Irishman Dara O'Kearney, needing just 9 hands on the extra day to finish the job.
WSOP46 - $3000 PLO 6 Max, 682 entrants, Day 3 of 3
Alex Bolotin won the first WSOP bracelet for Belarus last year, now Vasili Firsau has added a second. The 38 year old won $437K after winning the heads-up match with Nipun Java
WSOP47 - $2500 NLH, 1244 entrants, Day 3 of 3
Play was called off during the FT with 5 remaining. Timur Margolin has been at or near to the top of the chip listings for some time now, and retains that position overnight. Mercurial Irish player Andy Black is third, with three Americans (Matt O'Donnell, Andrew Dean & Brandon Wittmeyer) making up the final 5.
All 5 British playes were knocked out on Day 3. Sidney Hasson went early as part of a double knockout, followed by Ben Vinson. Stuart Rutter was all in on the very first hand of the day with pocket aces, so saw an early double up but went out in 23rd, Sergi Reixach managed a short stack for a long time to end up 18th and finally, Simon Deadman made the unofficial FT bit but was very short and ended up pushing with Q10 and ended up 10th.
WSOP48 - $1500 Seven Card Stud, 327 entrants, Day 3 of 3
Veteran Eli Elezra, a staple of Poker TV during the "High Stakes Poker" era, has won his third bracelet after seeing off Benjamin Lazer heads-up. The former Israeli Special Forces officer wil take home a six-figure score with Lazer having to be content with $69K or so.
Allen Cunningham ended up 3rd with the best of the rest being Canadian Gylbert Drolet in 4th.
WSOP49 - $1500 Pot Limit Omaha8 or better, 815 entrants, Day 2 of 3
Thee tables of 7 make it through to the denouement with Galen Hall as the chip leader. Three multiple bracelet winners (Erik Seidel, Vanessa Selbst & George Danzer) are still in the field, as is the player who eliminated Tikay, Bryce Yockey.
Best British run was by Charles Carrel, who finished 45th for $5061, although Chris Bjorin is shown with a Union Flag as British by residence, and he was 37th (for the same financial reward)
WSOP50 - $10K Limit Hold'Em Championship, Day 2 of 3
Play went on late into the night before they got down to 10 players, with Justin Bonomo having a significant advantage going towards the FT. Russian Aleksandr Denisov lies second with Jesse Martin third.
There are players from Boston, Shrewsbury & Newcastle still in the final 10, but all from the American towns of those names, not the British ones; no British players cashed.
WSOP51 - $3k NLH 6-max, 1043 entrants, Day 1 of 3
285 of the 1043 and it is the serial casher, Ismael Bojang who leads. After setting a record last year for most cashes, he has 4 already (including 2 FTs) this time around.
Earlier bracelet winner John Gale heads the GB contingent, which also includes Sam Razavi (whose day's work included knocking out reigning champion of this event Davidi Kitai), Ben Heath (there's always got to be a Ben), Rhys Jones, Stephen Chidwick, Philip McAlister, Andrew Seden, Ben Vinson (OK, two Bens), Pablo Fernandez, Arkadi Kilman, Toby Lewis, Ben Dobson plus a few more.
Jeff Madsen is still going looking for his second bracelet of the year (and 5th overall), and also bagging up chips are Joseph Cheong, Griffin Benger, Antonio Esfandiari, Gavin Griffin, John Racener, Fabrice Soulier & Joe Hachem, just to mention names in the Top 75.
After seeing the fields for some other tournaments well down, pleasing to not that this one is well up on last year's field size.
WSOP52 - $1500 Dealers Choice, 357 entrants, Day 1 of 3
Playing until after 3am on a Day 1 surely can't be a great idea, but that's what happened here. We're left with 75 players going forward to Day 2, with the chip leader being Scott Blakeman.
Reigning champion of this event, Robert Mizrachi is among the 75, as are Brits Jeff Duvall, Richard Ashby, Cai Wa ng, recent bracelet winner Benny Glaser and Matthew Ashton (dressed as a polar bear for some reason). Stu Rutter busted quite late on.
Double 2015 bracelet winner Brian Hastings still has chips, a third in the same series would be something else.

Only 10 days or so until the ME starts, I'm grateful for that as I'm flagging a little bit at the moment. Should perk up when the Sky qualifiers start to play though. This forum software is also bugging me more and more each day.

Matt O'Donnell is the bracelet holder as winner of Event 47 and adds $551K to his bank balance.
He beat Israeli player Timur Margolin in a lengthy heads up battle.
Andy Black earlier went out in 4th place to finish with a payout of $156K
WSOP49 - $1500 Pot Limit Omaha8 or better, 815 entrants, Day 3 of 3
52-year old Korean-born resident of Alaska, Young Ji, is the Event 49 winner. He beat Mark Dube heads-up, after hitting runner-runner on the last hand to make a bigger two pair than his opponent. It is Ji's first bracelet and his first WSOP Ft.
Dube earned $142K for second place while Alex Dovzhenko ended up 3rd for $92K. The player who eliminated Tikay, Bryce Yocket, claimed 5th ($50K) while former WSOP Player Of The Year George Danzer was the first man out on the FT.
WSOP50 - $10K Limit Hold'Em Championship, 117 entrants Day 3 of 3
It was a good day for players with two-letter names as Ben Yu was the winner of the very select 10K Limit Hold'em Event 50. Yu claimed his first bracelet after 8 years of cashes.
Three handed he was a very short stack and a clear underdog against two former bracelet winners, Justin Bonomo & Jesse Martin, but Yu first eliminated Bonomo and after a prolonged heads-up battle, Martin.
WSOP51 - $3k NLH 6-max, 1043 entrants, Day 2 of 3
We're down to 35 and we have a late change of lead in Day 2, Jason Les overtaking Cornel Cimpan in the last few hands of the evening.
A few other players slid in front of Cimpan too, one of them being Stephen Chidwick who heads 3 British players who will come back for day 3, the other two being the two Bens Vinson & Heath, all inside the Top 12 and poised to make a strong challenge to at least make the FT.
Sam Razavi & Philip McAllister busted just inside the top 100 for $5666 each.
Current WSOP ME title holder Martin Jacobson shoved with 5-5, got called and busted in 55th place.
WSOP52 - $1500 Dealers Choice, 357 entrants, Day 2 of 3
Only eleven players held on to their chips long enough to have some to bag at the end of Day with Matt Szymaszek needing the biggest bag. Close behind though is the reigning champion in this event, Robert Mizrachi.
Looks like none of the GB players made the cash.
WSOP53 - $10K Ladies Event NLH, 3 Day Event, 795 entrants, Day 1 of 3
121 ladies are coming back for Day 2, with the chip leader being Irina Batorevich from Russia, ahead of Canadian Stephanie Ampelokotis and American Kataneh Hamidi.
Virtually all the big name entrants bust comparitively early - Liv Boeree, Jennifer Tilly, Loni Harewood etc. leaving the field wide open, and hopefully one or both of the British players left in can make an impact. Shola Akindele has already had one FT this month, and sits in 30th place overnight, three spots behind Sophie Stynes (another victim of the WSOP putting a British player down as being from Estonia). Sophie's best recorded cash is £400 from 2nd place in a £30 tourney in Blackpool in 2013, making the 81 who cash here would about treble that.
No news of any GB players still in at this point, but I do know that Liv Boeree & Eleanor Gudger have busted.
WSOP54 - $10K PLO Championship, 387 entrants, Day 1 of 3
134 of the 387 are back for day two, with a USA-Brazilian-Australian-Danish top 4, our interest lies just a little further down the chip listings.
Simon Trumper doubled up early and kept the pressure on to have the 8th biggest stack at the end of the night, and two other Brits (Patrick Leonard & Peter Charalambous) are also going to be among the bigger stacks at their Day 2 tables.
Dmitri Holdeew who I think is a German resident in Brighton lies 24th, John Gale 47th, John Shipley 65th, Arkadi Kilman (another I think who is from overseas but GB resident) 85th.

The new 50/50 event is in it's very early stages, the only GB name mentioned so far is Joe Beevers and he is just listed on the chip counts page with his starting stack.
Simon Trumper is close to chip leader, he has an interesting seat, with Jason Mercier & J C Tran directly to his left.
Other Brits going along nicely are Patrick Leonard, (pleno), John Gale, Pete Charalambous, & good old John Shipley, who made the WSOP Main Event Final some 12 or 15 years ago. John is said by many to be the best judge of greyhound racing in the UK.

You know the score by now, 3 Day Event not completed inside 3 days.
The heads-up match is being carried forward until Sunday between Seamus Cahill and Justin Liberto. The Irishman (the second to reach heads up this year) has about a 6:4 chip lead, but they're still both very deep so that lead could easily disappear (and equally likely re-appear).
Stephen Chidwick (or as I've been playing around with anagrams, "Checked with spin" busto in 13th for nearly $24K, but he was outlasted by Benjamin Heath who made the FT but finished 6th for over $77K.

We have our first female bracelet winner of the 2015 WSOP, as Hollywood screenwriter Carol Fuchs took it down. She has very little WSOP experience, but is a regular in California casinos but was a surprise winner in an event that usually favours regular mixed-game players. Her reward is a gold bracelet plus over $127K,
Russian Ilya Krupin collected his 4th cash of the series with a 2nd place finish, ahead of reigning champion Michael Mizrachi and Chris Klodnicki

If I had to hazard a guess, they won't need an extra day for the Ladies event with only 10 players progressing from Day 2 so they will open Day 3 with the unofficial FT.
Liya Gerasimova is the chip leader, but with only a small advantage from Parm Mehmi with Amanda Sizemore in 3rd.
Only one British player made the money and as I mentioned yesterday it was a huge career best for Sophie Stynes. The player from Lymm in Cheshire battled almost all day and departed in 22nd spot for a payout of $4829.
WSOP54 - $10K PLO Championship, 387 entrants, Day 1 of 3
Jason Mercier has already taken one bracelet at the expense of a British player, and he's in the chip lead after Day 2 of the 10K PLO with a couple of GB players looking to return the compliment.
Simon Trumper still appears to be a favourite of the WSOP updaters, and to be fair he is giving them plenty to write about as he lies 7th overnight with a very playable stack. Patrick Leonard is a little bit further down, but he's still got over 20 BB for when they come back for Day 3.
With 21 left, players from Belarus, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Ukraine, Brazil & Canada join US & UK names with the likes of Shaun Deeb & Davidi Kitai among the players involved.

The inaugural running of this one, where 50% of the field will get paid, even if for some of them it is less than their buy-in.
It attracted a decent field, and 2nd century AD Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius is the chip leader. Well at least his namesake from California is. Stephen Girouard & Brandon Gerson make up the top 3 with Aurelien Guiglini the first GB player listed in 54th of the 211 qualifiers.

Event 54 10K PLO is now down to 2 tables, Simon Trumper has chipped up a little, Patrick Leonard dropped down a little. He is now the short stack of the 16 remaining. Jason Mercier still leads, next man out gets $34K.
Event 51 has now finished, unfortunately it is Ireland's 2nd runner-up position of the series as Justin Liberto got the better of Seamus Cahill.

117 have signed up for the Big One so far, and as far as I can tell all are still in. Max Silver's had a good start and lies second to Fedor Holz, who has almost doubled his stack already. Both Jake Cody & Sam Trickett have made minor gains. Simon Deadman has lost a few (sorry Joesman) but still has 275K (starting stack was 300K in this one)
Sky Ambassador, His Excellency Neil Channing has made his 2015 debut in Event 58, and has increased his stack from 5K to almost 6K. 2008 Olympic gold medal winner Fatima Moreira de Melo is also involved in this one.
Looks like 9 Brits entered the High Roller, Talal Shakerchi, Jake Cody, Max Silver, Stephen Chidwick, Simon Deadman & Charles Carrel still in, Jack Salter, Eilor Sion & Sam Trickett have been knocked out.

The Ladies Event is done and dusted, and the winner is a realtor from Florida, 66-year old Jacquelyn Scott. In her first ever WSOP cash, she dominated the final table and collected the bracelet and $153K
It was her first time playing the Ladies event, although she had tried the Main Event 6 times without success.
Two more Americans finished 2nd & 3rd, Hope Williams and another realtor, Amanda Sizemore
WSOP54 - $10K PLO Championship, 387 entrants, Day 3 of 3
The third bracelet of the day has gone to Denmark, with Alexander Petersen picking up the trophy and almost a million dollars.
Simon Trumper had a fantastic run, got to 4-handed play which seemed to go on forever but eventually finished 4th for $267K.
Once "Aces" had gone, the rest of the event played out pretty quickly with Dan Smith finishing 3rd, and Jason Mercier ending up as runner-up in his quest to pick up his 2nd bracelet of the summer.
Patrick Leonard managed some decent laddering up on Day 3, eventually bowing out in 14th place for nearly $42K.
WSOP55 - $1500 Draftkings 50/50 NLH, 1123 entrants, Day 2 of 3
Day 2 has just finished, with 28 players making Day 3. Ping Liu leads from Perati Muhamet & Tanya Kirk.
No British players remain, but others still involved are Dominik Nitsche, Matt Affleck, Brandon Witteemyer, Matt Matros & Mukul Pahuja.
Of the GB players who made Day 2, Seb Saffari finished 41st for $4275, Tim Davie (IH8PALACE) 69th for $2774, Aurelien Giuglini 83rd for $2213 and Barkatul Mohammed 175th to get his buyin back.
WSOP56 - $5K Turbo NLH, 454 entrants, Day 2 of 2
The Turbo lived up to its name and was done and dusted inside two days with Kevin MacPhee $490K richer for his two days work.
The 34-year old pro was making his 2nd final table of the series and converted that into his first WSOP bracelet, beating Igor Yaroshevskyy.
Third placed finisher Pascal Theodosiadis will live to regret one hand played 3-handed when he had the chip lead. He opened, and both of his opponents went in all-in, he folded Pocket Queens face up, which would have ended up being the winning hand.
Stephen Chidwick was (again) best Brit, finishing 36th and trousering $12376. The importance of money jumps at the WSOP can be seen as Javed Abrahams went out only one place earlier, yet his payday was $2300 less than Chidwick's.
WSOP57 - $1000 NLH, 2412 entrants, Day 1 of 3
The last $1K NLH event made over 2400 entrants, making it the 2nd biggest single flight opening day of the series after the Seniors Championship.
Of those 2412, 11 levels reduced the field to 278 with 270 being paid, so the bubble will be very early on Monday's play.
Richard Brunig is number one in chips at the moment, ahead of German Jonas Lauck & Melvin Weiner from LA.
Nicholas Green heads the UK Challenge, ahead of Alexander Elias, Stu Rutter, Andrew Hulme, Daniel Merrilees, Paul Vas Nunes, Rob Harrison & Tom Middleton
Neil Channing, however, is not among the Day 2 qualifiers. If I ever used emoticons, this would be the place for a sad-faced one.

The big one, and after some "will he, won't he" Phil Ivey made his first appearance of the 2015 WSOP.
He's not coming back for Day 3 as only 46 players lasted the day in the chase for the first prize which is just a soupçon under $4 Million.
It's a familiar name at the top, as last year's Big One winner Dan Colman is at it again, ahead of Sorel Mizzi and Andy Frankenberger.
Brits through are lead by Simon Deadman (25th), with Tom McDonald, Talal Shakerchi, Max Silver, Charles Carrel & Craig McCorkell also still involved.
16 players will get paid a minimum of $251K
Over $750000 from the buy-ins will go to the One Drop charity.

Not a good start for GB players, as we've lost 3 already. Charles Carrel went very early, followed by Craig McCorkell who suffered at the hands of former ME winner Jonathan Duhamel, and now Max Silver is gone too.
Tom McDonald also looks very vulnerable with his short stack, but both Simon Deadman and Talal Shakerchi have chipped up. Sorel Mizzi is the chip leader now from Phil Helmuth
Ambassador Channing has bought into the Event 59, $1500 NLH and is still just showing with his starting stack, John Gale & Barny Boatman have both chipped up from starting. Perhaps Neil is just too young to make money now?
There is a 25K High Roller PLO to start soon, I guess a lot of the players busted from the High Roller will appear in this one, but there is also a huge cash game being played at the Aria and available to watch on Twitch that has a minimum $250K buy in and currently has Bob Bright, Phil Ivey, Doyle Brunson, Anotonio Esfandiari, Jean-Robert Ballande, Jennifer Tilly & Johnny Chan sat in with over $3million on the table
Less than a week after finishing 3rd in a $2500 event, Brandon Wittmeyer went two better to collect his first WSOP bracelet and $200K in prize money.
Second was Derek Gomez, who normally makes his money as a poker dealer at the Wynn and third was long-term leader Ping Liu
The last GB player departed some time ago, Sebastian Saffari back in 41st.
WSOP57 - $1000 NLH, 2412 entrants, Day 2 of 3
A little over 1% of the original field are back for Day 3, with chip leader Stephen Graner having almost double the chips of his nearest challenger, Guildford's Paul van Nunes.
Rob Harrison, from Hobdens wherever that is, is also still involved but is nearer the other end of the chip listings alongside Irish veteran Jude Ainsworth.
WSOP58 - $111,111 High Roller for One Drop, 135 players, Day 2 of 2
This event was overshadowed by the death of one of the spectators, sounds like it might have been a heart attack or similar. The fan collapsed just as last year's Big One for One Drop winner Dan Colman was all in. The tournament was paused, and perhaps shouldn't have restrated until today.
But restart it did, and half an hour later the hand was completed and Colman was eliminated.
Former WSOP ME winner Jonathan Duhamel eventually won the bracelet and the nearly $4m.
The Runner up was Bill Klein, who promptly donated all his $2.4m to charities including One Drop, and Colman was third.
Phil Hellmuth's quest for bracelet 15 ended in 6th place.
WSOP59 - $1500 NLH, 2155 entrants, Day 1 of 3
Play for day 1 was ended with 309 players left, and an Ireland-GB one-two overnight. Kevin Killeen from Dublin leads, with Luke Marsh from Scunthorpe second.
Ten other GB players remain, including Aurelien Guiglini, Tom Middleton, Simon Deadman & Jake Cody.
Former ME winner Jamie Gold got through, but Jerry Yang & Carlos Mortensen didn't.
216 players will get paid.
WSOP60 - $25K High Roller PLO - 151 entrants (so far), Day 1 of 4
Registration is open until the start of Day 2 so the field will probably grow before the final number is declared.
67 remain from the Day 1 entrants, and in even better news than Luke Marsh lying 2nd overnight in Event 59, we have a British leader of Event 60. Step forward James Park. Talal Shakerchi, fresh from a decent run in the High Roller, is also inside the top 5, with Javed Abrahams and David Colin also recorded on the chip list from the end of the Day.

WSOP61a/b - $1111 Little One For One Drop, 4 Day Event - Including Sky Poker qualifiers
Two players, Takahiro Nakai & Mel Wiener will come back to play heads-up for tbe bracelet after some late drama on Day 3.
British player Paul vas Nunes went out in third place on what would have been five minutes from the end of play after a river King saw Takai's KQ get there against vas Nunes' 9s.
Then as they were heads up they played an extra level. About 15 minutes from the end of that level, Wiener went all in with AA and was called by Nakai with 3s. A 3 on the flop saw Nakai's rail go mad, but they were quietened by an Ace on the turn.
Still we weren't done for the drama, as on the very last hand, with chip stacks very close they were all in again on a two-spade flop of 3-10-J. Nakai had AQ with the Queen of spades, Wiener had A8 both of shovels. Neither the turn or the river helped and after a count, Nakai will go into Day 4 with a 10:1 chip lead.
vas Nunes will pick up $175K, fellow British player Rob Harrison busted in 20th for $11416.
WSOP59 - $1500 NLH, 2155 entrants, Day 2 of 3
37 go forward to Day 3, with an Italian player with a very Italian name, Guiliano Bendinelli holding the chip lead, but a lot of interest is on the player in 2nd, former WSOP ME winner Jamie Gold.

WSOP60 - $25K High Roller PLO - 175 entrants, Day 2 of 4
A few late registering people made the field up to 175, with 24 of those getting paid.
A dozen survive, led by Anthony Zinno from Juha Helppi & Alexander Kostritsyn.
Talal Shakerchi is the British hope for the bracelet, but he is down in 11th of the 12.

WSOP61a/b - $1111 Little One For One Drop, 4555 entries, Day 1 of 4
Primarily covered in the other thread, but for the record the top three are American Jason Manger, Jamaican Gautam Lillaney and another American Geoffrey Rasmussen. The WSOP have 4th placed Youze Tian as being from Chad, but I'd bet that would be China. I don't think I've ever seen a genuine player from Chad, not even Norman Chad is from Chad.

Takahiro Nakai only needed 8 hands on the extra day to finish off Mel Wiener and claim what is only the 2nd bracelet ever for a Japanese player.
Wiener was aiming to win his first bracelet for 19 years but ultimately only managed one double up on Day 4 and had to settle for 2nd and $248K, while Takai took $399K

Another one to go to a fourth day, and we have a very interesting quartet going forward to fight for the bracelet.
Alex Lindop is there for the UK, and Aurelien Guiglini was previously listed as "UK" as he is a Frenchman living over here, but that has now been switched to the French tricolour.
Then there is Haixia Zhang. She won the Ladies event last year, and according to the WSOP updates, no Ladies Event winner has gone on to win an "open" bracelet afterwards.
The final player is another Frenchman, Yorane Kerignard. Stacks are pretty even, ranging from 4.8m down to 3.5m so there could be plenty of play left.

And now a real rarity, an event that was done in less than the scheduled number of days.
Day 2 chip leader Anthony Zinno pressed home his advantage and on his fifth FT of the summer (!), all in $5K or up events, finally got the bracelet which also moved him into "Player of the Year" contention.
His winnings came to $1.1m, and denied Pakinai Lisawad the chance to pick up the first ever WSOP title for Thailand.
The last remaining British player, Talal Shakerchi, ended up in 10th place for $89234.

WSOP62 - $1500 Bounty NLH, 2178 entries, Day 1 of 3
We have the pleasant sight of GB players ranking 1 and 2 overnight at the end of the first day of Event 62. Chris Brammer is the chip leader, and he has almost 50% more chips than the 2nd placed player, Liv Boeree.
Niall Farrell makes it three Brits inside the Top 10, and there are several more inside the Top 50 - Andrew Hulme, Ben Heath, Jonathan Clark, Tom Middleton & Pablo Fernandez, and John Shipley & Baard Dahl not far off.
281 will return for Day 2, and other names still going include Leif Force, Faraz Jaka, Stephen Graner & JC Tran.
In another rarity, Stephen Chidwick bust on a Day 1.
WSOP63 - $10000 HORSE Championship, 204 entries, Day 1 of 3
Eli Elezra already has 1 Bracelet and 6 cashes, and he's on a mission to improve those numbers in Event 63.
122 are still contention for the $517K top prize, including Ted Forrest, Joe Hachem, Frank Kassela, Mike Matusow, Huck Seed & Scott Clements. Event 60 winner Anthony Zinno used some of his winnings to late reg, and he too has chips at the end of Day 1.
In what is not a rarity, Stephen Chidwick (after busting Event 62) also made Day 2, along with Matthew Ashton (healtily chipped) and Stu Rutter (less so)

WSOP59 - $1500 NLH, 2155 entrants, Day 4 of 3
Boom! The third British bracelet of the series has been claimed, and like Benny Glaser's victory a couple of weeks ago, it has gone to one of the lesser known pro players on the circuit.
25 year old Alex Lindop from Stoke on Trent claimed his first WSOP bracelet and over $531K by winning the 4-handed Day 4 field. In truth, he dominated his three opponents for the first couple of hours, which saw the departure of last year's ladies event winner Haixia Zhang and then French player Yorane Kerignard.
Another French player (but sometime resident in London) Aurelien Guiglini was a tougher nut to crack, but in the end Lindop turned a full house and that was enough to win the day.

Fourteen left. Unfortunately no Sky qualifiers left in, but we do have some British presence as Paul McTaggart has guaranteed himself $32K, lying 8th overnight.
The chip leader is Jason Caulk, with Paul Hofer & Chris Hunichen completing the Top 3 places.
James "Runitsrann" Rann eventually bowed out late on Day 3 in 27th place, conveniently just after a cash jump to just over $20K. David Longmate came 60th for $8700, Craig McCorkell 85th for $5001 (the $1 must be important), Pratik Ghatge 105th for $3607 and the last of the Sky qualifiers (from a series of freerolls remember) Tim Rowlands had a tough Day 3 leaving in 109th also for $3607.

34 players have made Day 3, with Czech player Vojtech Ruzicka having almost double the stack of the second placed player, American Jack Duong, and more or less triple the third placed stack, that of Irishman Peter Murphy.
One British player remains, Andrew Hulme who is in 26th overnight. Chris Brammer picked up over $6K, Jonathan Clark $3800, Patrik Slusarek $2800, John Shipley & Robert Sherwood $2200 each, Tom Middleton, Liv Boeree & Niall Farrell $1999 each, Shola Akindele & Ben Heath $1666 each. All those prize amounts excludes any bounty payments they may have collected along the way.

With a lot of the really big players commiting themselves to the $500K Super High Roller at the Aria, the field remaining for the Horse is still surprisingly strong.
Twenty are still standing, led by Andrew Barber, with former player of the year Frank Kassela 2nd & Eli Elezra (now showing as Eliahu Elezra) in 3rd. Also still involved are Joe Hache, Brandon Shack-Harris, Brock Parker, Scotty Nguyen & Barry Greenstein, but unfortunately no GB players.

The 6 players for the FT are known, well their aliases are for now. They are "imgrinding", "casedismissed", "Stonerboner", ""SLOPHOUSE", "GringoLoco72" & "Tuttybear". More will become clear I guess when these players turn up in person for the live FT.

If I ever got the the WSOP, this would be my event. Anyway, enough fantasising, it a US Top 3 followed by a Russian next 3 overnight.
The Stars & Stripes have Thomas Savitsky, Yuebin Guo & Anthony Bellino at the top of the three, with the Russians Alexander Orlov, Vladimir Shchmelev & Aleksandr Denisov close on their heels.
Adam Owen has been in most events this series, and he's at it again as the Top Brit among the 125 survivors. Also through for the UK are Gerard Ringe & Stuart Rutter.
