He'd better bring some headphones as Mike Matusow is on Table 43 which I assume will be next door. Tables are being set up in Amazon & Brasilia, plus Miranda. Did Miranda get asked if she consented to this?
Witteman has almost $100K in recorded live cashes, but nothing at all since 2010 when he picked up $42K finishing 10th in a $2500 WSOP 6 Max Event.
Most of Alex Tran's cashes are of a similar vintage, but he did cash in the 2014 ME (576th for $20K) and picked up $900 at a WSOP circuit event in LA back in March.
I can find no Hendon Mob reference to Timothy Buxbaum at all.
Apologies for the abrupt ending last night. There was no mains power available in the Media Centre due to an electrical fault, my lappie battery gave up, & then my I-Pad battery did likewise.
BIG problems all day yesterday here with wifi, Ethernet & mains power, and laptop batteries are not designed for 16 hour days.
"....Tables are being set up in Amazon & Brasilia, plus Miranda. Did Miranda get asked if she consented to this?....."
Curiously, the "Miranda" Room is actually.........the Poker Kitchen.
It's way too easy to knock the WSOP, (or Sky Poker or anyone else for that matter), & we want these huge fields, but I'm not sure I'd want to play a WSOP Main Event in a cafeteria, especially given how much rake is charged.
That aside, WSOP have done a magnificent job again is year, & anyone who suggests otherwise is not living in the real world & has no experience of business or running events.
Play for Day 2C starts in around 45 minutes. The three Sky Poker Qualifiers who made today are..... Nicola Lategano, 19,850, Amazon 411, Seat 3 Martin Brinkmann, 56,800, Amazon 402, Seat 1 Brett Gritton, 51,575, Pavilion 169, Seat 7 Blinds will be 250-500/50. Posted by Tikay10
The fact Nico is 10k below his starting stack, yet has around 40bb starting day 2 says it all, this tournament structure is sweet! Best of luck to our fabulous 3 I shall be railing with everything crossed (yes even those! il be sore tomorrow!)

Each day of the WSOP - every single day - they have a personality of some sort up on the stage to announce "shuffle up & deal". Usually a Bracelet winner, famous poker player, sports star or whatever.
Today it was, unusually, Kev Mathers, aka "kevmath", who got a huge round of applause.
Kev is one of a very rare breed who does positive things for poker, in the Media mainly, but generally across many platforms, including Twitter & 2+2 where he is a Mod. (What a job that must be). If only we had more like him. He has always been most helpful to me, especially when the usual lads on 2+2 are up to a bit of mischief with all their "anon" aliases.
He is actually playing the event again this year, & has sold all his action in 1% chunks, he gets 20% of any winnings, so I've had 1% again, as I did before. He has very little chance of cashing, of course, but it's good to give guys like Kev a bit of encouragement.
Yup, echoing everyone else in wishing all Sky guys the very best.
I've witnessed what Kevmath does for poker via Twitter and hope Tikay enjoys his sweat and that he somehow grinds his short stack into the money. Finally a big thankyou to FCHD for what he adds to this thread.
FCHD your table information for all our day 2 players was much appreciated by them as we passed this on to them. So a BIG thank you from them Posted by Sky_SamT
No problem Sam. Hope I've got several Day 3 tables to research tomorrow.
Today we have Nico and Martin in Amazon and Brett in Pavillion, although to make it even harder Nico's table is about to break into Brasilia!
It looks a steady start from all 3 with Nico and Brett largely preserving their stacks but Martin has risen to about 70k. All 3 of them look ice cool and are certainly not overawed by the scale of the event.
Matt Bates is due at 3pm for the Rio deepstack (1.15 now) so I might try my bokking skills on him again and see if we can get him bust in the first few hours.
If it can be done, could we possibly include Mr Rutter and the other non qualifiers in some updates? dunno where they are seated but if its on the way to the next qualifiers table then it make sense eh
Just bumped into Sky Poker UKPC Champ (ex) Alex Spencer, who is a totally great lad, he's just busted sadly.
He's bright, too.
I asked him how he busted.
"Well I had a set of 7's".......
I stopped him before he continued further, we all know what's next, but unusually, Alex actually did stop there & then, instead of droning on as most do. The boy gets body language, an increasingly rare skill.
The process of a table breaking & moving into another room is a bit like a school "snake".
They all have to walk along the corridor single file, "Indian file" we used to call it, with their chips sealed in a clear polythene bag, but held clearly visible to all. They are not allowed to stop, deviate, or talk to anyone, in case some hanky panky goes off.
I managed to get a quick word with Martin, mid snake, but then the mean nasty lady who was escorting them gave me the dead-eye, the old flt, so I had to retreat.
Bumped into Simon Trumper just now, he has put on more weight here than I have, & that's saying something.
He was with his Daughter, who he arranged to fly out to Vegas after his little Omaha bink. Great stuff.
After his PLO Final, he hired a Harley Davison for a few days & headed out into the mountains. Love Simon, I really do. I gave him a ticking off though, as I'm trying to tie up some stuff for the UKPC next month, so I don't need him disappearing. Outrageous.
PS - Don't forget, the Sky Poker 6-Max UKPC is next month, satellites galore, bla bla bla, you know the drill.

Good luck Kev, & thanks for being a mate.
*Calling in a double up for our shorty*
Sadly it looks like we lost Redmond yesterday.
Both Nicola & Martin have now moved rooms, so a search party (aka Sam) has been sent to locate them.
I bumped into Martin just as he was moving room, he has zoomed up to 83,000.
Don't know how many Nicola has, we need to find his new table first.
Brett is sitting nice & quiet, as is his custom, in Pavilion, & has 52,000.
Just filmed the Daily WSOP Update, & Neil is now filming his Daily Diary thing.
