I know you dont really bet on outsider but my bet of the weekend will be Aston Villa to win at Liverpool, 13/2 is a hugh price imo
    Posted by jordz16
Ambitious. I think Villa are terrible this year and Daniel Sturridge is back for Liverpool. (Admittedily Benteke is a doubt) but I think they'll tear Villa a new one this weekend...

OK, too long sat in front of the computer, I've added a new bet...

Middlesbrough to beat Leeds on Sunday and Stuani to score at any time 2/1. (I sense a 3-0 kind of score here). Middlesbrough are my tip to win the league this year and they've started really well. Just seen they're already 11/8 with Skybet and 2nd fav Brighton are back at 5/1.

Total now staked this weekend in full - £65
    Balance -£39.35

After two w/ends away on the lash, I am back today with a 6 fold.

    Man U v Sund
    Stoke v bourn
    West Ham v Nor
    Hull v Blackburn
    Sheff U v Donc
    Walsall v Crewe

    6 HOME wins pays @ 35/1

  • edited September 2015
Well that was a rubbish weekend! None of the trebles came in. Middlesbrough won 3-0 which is exactly what I predicted, but Stuani didn't score so it was a duff bet!

What makes things worse is Gifty Louise has also been given the boot from Xfactor! To be fair, the very little I did see of her on Sunday she had a horrible attitude so deserved it!

Gone for something slightly different tonight as I've dropped into the red... I probably should just stick to a couple of trebles, but I've gone for a 6 fold and used my free £5 bet.

Doncaster OR draw vs Swindon (We're terrible last few weeks, and just sent our keeper back who has been playing really well).
    Gillingham v Fleetwood
    Leyton Orient vs Carlisle
    Pompey vs Exeter
    Wycombe v Cambridge
    Plymouth v Barnet

I may have a change of heart later as there seem to be some kind fixtures tonight and stick to some trebles. But this pays £146.11

So for now my balance remains at -£39.35

Need to get myself out of this hole! Gone for a 4 fold and an away treble this week...

    £20 to win £147.54

    Derby v Brentford
    Gillingham v Oldham
    Plymouth v Crawley
    Pompey v Yeovil

    -------
£9.79 (Odds in my account) to win £132.99

    Newport v Exeter
    Daggers v Mansfield
    Sunderland v West Ham

    Total staked - £29.79
    Balance - -£69.14

    Good Luck

I have ignored Gillingham after only one away win this season and two defeats and a draw from the last three but Chesterfield are a bit flaky and have lost twice at home already this season and  I hope they lose again today as it will help my season long bets.

    Good Luck.
  • edited October 2015
Well the away double came in! I feel a bit hard done by with Luton not winning at home considering what a great run they're on. Oh well. Back to even for the season.
  • edited October 2015
So as I said above, 1 double came in last week, so that's back to even... well 14p down!

Back to a full list of fixtures this week. Feels like it's been forever!.

    Treble - £20 returns £75.64

Chelsea v Villa - Chelsea showing poor form, but Villa are terrible. Costa is back and will be ready to prove a point.

Middlesbrough v Fulham - Boro are flying and I'd back them to win at home vs nearly anybody.

Burnley v Bolton - The gap between them in the tables kind of makes you have to pick them here.

    ----------------

    Treble - £15 + £5 free bet - Potential returns £89.57

Reading vs Charlton - Looks like Reading have put last seasons disaster behind them and are really pushing for promotion this year.

Coventry v Blackpool - One of my favourites for the title at home to the worst team in the league in my opinion. Put your house on this one!

Walsall v Chesterfield - Walsall surprising everyone this year, top of the league, playing great vs a mid table team.

Balance coming into this week - -14p
    Balance after bet - -£35.14
  • edited October 2015
Added to my betslip for the week.

Coventry and Chelsea both to win with a -1 handicap. £18.33 to win £100.82.

    Post bet balance - -£53.96

Some very surprising results in the mid leagues cost me this week, so no winners.

This is what happens when you go to the pub with your mate and talk about sports betting... 2 more bets added..

Morecombe vs Orient. Both morecombe and the draw were around 3/1. So I've bet on both and if either come in I'm almost doubling my money.

    Both £7.50 bets
    Morecombe - potential £28.50
    Draw - potential £28.10

    8 fold over 1.5 goals - £8.80 - returns 82.44

One win this weekend, and the other 2 only missed by 1 result each. Felt bad fist pumping at Swindon conceding in the 95th minute, but hey ho.

Brings the total down to -£78.85
