FYI, I am more than happy for people that haven't sponsored the TLB2016 initiative as yet, to make a small pledge and by doing so they will be eligible to enter the heads up comp.

I may well open it up to more than 16 runners if their is the support for it.

I will leave registration open for a little while yet. Clearly we will now have a prelim round with most players getting byes. It will be generated randomly using a "fixture generating" tool/website.

I am thrilled to announce that I have received a PM from Tikay stating that both he and Neil Channing will be playing in the TLB2016 Heads Up Cup and are sponsoring £100 each.

Thank you both so much for your support, in the form of time, money and generosity of spirit. I have updated the opening post spreadsheets to reflect these donations and recent competitor results.

If you would like to have the potential opportunity (random draw each round) to play against the likes of Neil Channing, Tikay and Richard Orford, simply make a pledge to the TLB2016 charity initiative on this thread (no monies will be collected until Jan 2017) and join in the fun.

I am very happy to announce that Darkangel7 has sponsored £20 towards the TLB2016 initiative.

£10 of which is to go directly to Chris Cunliffe's charity (The Trussel Trust), and £10 to go (rather uniquely) as a wooden spoon prize to the charity of the person who finishes last in the TLB comp (but in the top30 on Sharkscope)

Also, after some gentle persuasion, DarkAngel will herself be entering the Heads Up comp.

All the people in the Heads Up competition have made a pledge towards the TLB2016 charity initiative. I won't collect any money until Jan 2017, so no rush to send any funds.

Would you be prepared to make a pledge? (Details can be seen about the charities involved on the opening post)

It doesn't need to be much, any amount of your choice. If you are happy to do this, please post your pledge amount on this thread.

Just so you know, there is no prize money, as such, for winning the heads up comp. (except for the standard prize money for each £1.05 SNG played).

However there is a priceless fully engraved big silver cup up for grabs!
