Hi Graham

It's a pity Pommy can't play now, coz if he'd been available he could have batted for The North, and your lad could have switched to the South(been as he lives on the border and hasn't played a match for the North yet)

I will be available to play instead of Mania if we don't hear from him. I think we should give him 'til 12 o'clock(noon) tomorrow(Sunday 23rd) to post on here if he can play his matches, and if we haven't heard from him byu then, I will play Gary at 2.30pm and Matt at 6pm (or earlier if it's better for you Matt....I know there are a few semi's on around 6pm)

Hope this helps Graham coz you have done so much for this, and we don't want you stressing out anymore....you might start losing your hair !!!!!

Hi Mist, many thanks for your assistence here and for your flexibility standing in where needed.

Gary's definately more of a Northerner than a Southener imo lol. So it's fine as it worked out.

I'm sure he and I will enjoy playing each other too.

So I've just have to make sure he gets up in time as 2pm is an early rise, compared to his normal schedule :=)

Opening post updated with fixture changes (assuming we don't hear from mania)

Limp2Lose is scheduled to play at 2.00pm, 2.30pm and 3.00pm.

The 2.00pm and 2.30pm fixtures are only 3 games, so 30mins should be enough, but there may be a slight delay if his early games run on a bit.

It's been really stressful being the Captain of the North, but enjoyable none the less. All I will say is that i've seen some fantastic games and the scores really don't tell the full story. The hardest games to rail for me was Rose's. I think it was the quietest i've ever been on the rail as my fingers just wouldn't type apart from gl, wd and nh.

I want to wish both the North and the South all the best, but my loyalties lie with the North. Who can bring it back again we can. Don't count your chickens before their hatched.

I will be set for 12.45.

I believe it is six games so there can be a tie so the score will be 3-3, 4-2, 5-1 or 6-0.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

It's a singles match so you play six games with 3-3 being a half.

You can however stop if/when one player wins 4 games. GL!

No she doesn't play.

She didn't approve of me getting "Little G" into poker, until he started to win, now she's OK with it funnily enough. :=)

He's in Coventry atm, I am supposed to call him at 1.15pm to make sure he is awake and ready to go by 2.00pm for the battle of the Gary's. :=)

So hopefully he'll get out of his pit in time.

As I feared may possibly happen, there is no sign of life from my son at this hour.

I've tried Skype, voicemail and text (he doesn't go on the forum), however it may be that his games will need to be re-scheduled for after he gets up.

On behalf of "little g", I apologise.

In the meantime, if he contacts me before 2pm, i will post here straight away.

Little G has staggered to his feet, after complaining about only having four hours sleep and how it will mess him up for the tournaments tonight.

But, being the good lad that he is, he will be keeping his comittment at the times specified.
