Sounds like a weird observation to make but the cardroom looks so bright/well-lit! Every place I've ever played live has always been really dark/dimly lit. Looks a nice place to play

Big floor to ceiling glass along 2 sides of the room & excellent ceiling lighting.
I wandered across to The Boy Nutter's Table to tell him the sad tale of SaJeR's demise with Aces v A-2. As I was stood there, the dealer dealt out a flop of 2-2-6. I said to Ben "look, that was almost EXACTLY the flop, & the Villain had A-2, incred". The hand played out, & in this case the winner - & a big pot it was, too - was InsWinHere. And his hand? A-2. I nearly died of embarrassment, I had been blabbing away about an almost exact replica of that hand. Meanwhile, InsWinHere has been a busy boy it seems, & must be close to double his starting stack. A-2 indeed, what are these kids like? Posted by Tikay10
GlencoeLad (George) got called a ****ing *****" during the break by a table companion who George had got the better of on several occasions. Lovely.
The guy was well tilted, & more importantly, George knew this.
So, George & Mr Mardy clash, with George betting every street.
The board (perhaps not this exact order, but no matter) ran out 2-3-4-J-4, with 3 hearts.
George bets the river, about 2,500 I think, & now Mr Mardy leans back in his chair, looks at George, & then picks up his entire stack & literally throws it in the middle, all higgly-piggly, & announces I'M ALL IN.
Bear in mind this is a paired, flushing board.
George asks for a count.
The dealer slowly scoops up all the chips, cuts the stacks, & says "6,800 total".
George casually throws in a single chip, "CALL".
Mr Mardy stands up & SLAMS down A-5 for the wheel.
Oops.
George turns over....
6-5
.....for the bigger straight.
Don't you just love it when that happens?
I asked George after if he felt comfy, what with the flush & paired board.
Play restarts in 3 minutes, @ 20.35 local. 6 more levels will be played today, with a 15 minute break every 2 levels, so stumps will be drawn at around 01.50 local. The field will have thinned out considerably by then, so that will make it easier to follow our survivors. Posted by Tikay10
Will the field have thinned out more than DTM's hair?
In Response to Re: Punta Cana Classic Live Update : That's a bit harsh, Matt, had a bad night have we? The fella has a full head of hair. Posted by Tikay10
In Response to Re: Punta Cana Classic Live Update : Duly delivered, & he snap doubled up with 8-8 v LyonsBob's Aces. He looks so young - I mean he can't be shaving yet, can he? - that I almost feel like I should give him a cuddle & tell him a bedtime story. Posted by Tikay10
N1 Danny, ul Michael. Was it all in pre do you know? Cuddle and bedtime story lol, not sure he'd be too enamoured tbh. :=)

BIG HAND ALERT
There's a bit of context to this one.

Blue on Blue
A nasty one, Sky Poker v Sky Poker.
NickD499 goes to war with 24caliber who has the Q-J, & the Q high flop was exactly what 24Caliber thought he wanted.
Unforch - for him, Nick had the Aces.
So we lose 24Caliber, but at least the chips stay with Sky Poker.

We discovered another of our crew during lunch break, no idea how the twain never met before, so we can now add LiveSnail to the Update list.
Life still exciting?
