Format is a dot between the hours and minutes, followed by a colon, then a space, then the horses name in capitals. No bold, no underlining and in time order when multiple selections.
The bold and underlining is for user name only. :=)
P.S. It's the ex IT consultant in me, where a dot instead of a colon, for example, could equal system failure. :=)
i cannot believe 7.5 units selected a 50-1 shot in the opener. p.s is my update better or should i not copy paste selections? snuffer ty for that Posted by MICKYBLUE
All the selections are really clear, so it's fine,
If people paste their selections in the right format, (my example below), then you should be able to just copy paste, making it easier for all.
Example:
2.20: BENJAMIN THOMAS
Consistent font sizes too.
Then there really would be NOTHING for me to complain about lol.
P.S. I see you've been "correcting". With the exception of Jordz's, Wynne's and Zadoc's, they are all fine now. :=)
FFs just finished some work and logged on to see my nap run. The choice of horse for that race was Lydias Place or Lucky Beggar , by the time I had sight they had just left the stalls. Lucky Beggar won well and mine nowhere. Then noticed mine NR. Phew and bug ger all in one sentncee not necessarily in that order

Been checking all evening for Jackpot info. Don't understand why they make it such hard work. They does'nt seem to be any consistency in release of the info. R Posted by zadoc
tell me about it i could understand if it was a bank holiday etc but its everyday. one of us usualy gets it on twitter but ive not seen it on there early or ages.

Yes I do want to record places.
Micky can you please check and update your consolidated post.
If they were placed, they should have (Placed) written after them.
I thought it had been checked so I didn't check it myself. It means spreadsheets need to be updated old posts deleted and re-posted, so it really should be correct if it has been verified.
Before I re-update it all can you please re-check others.
I'd rather you put "Placed" than 2nd or 3rd, as it is number of runners dependant.
So you write placed if:
2nd with between 5 or 7 runners 2nd or 3rd with between 8 and 15 runners 2nd, 3rd or 4th with 16 runners and a handicap. 4th place does not could if it's not a handicap.
If people doing the verification can also pay attention to the above, as it's a pain having to re-do all the spreadsheets and re-post.
We just need a little more attention to detail otherwise it creates more work.
In Response to Re: ** JACKPOT SYNDICATE ** NAPS THREAD ** LEAGUE TABLES ON OPENING POST ** : Was 2nd always there? If so my fault really. I have amended the spreadsheets, they will be correct again as of tomorrow's posts. Thanks for pointing it out Zadoc and for your assistance Micky. G Posted by StayOrGo
yes mate 2nd was there as was 3rd on yours. happens dont worry, i think we should be putting 2nd 3rd 4th if placed. a nap that gets beat by a nose or 10l 3rd is a big diff to me.

Sorry mate, if 2nd was there all the time, then it's my fault, although good to put (placed) as well so it's clear.
From an interest perspective you can put 2nd/3rd/4th, but there's only so much data I can record on the tables, otherwise it's too time consuming.
i wrote 2nd 3rd so any that wants to check runners etc can at a later date if need be. 3rd in a 7 horse race is not a place so its easier for others to check.
anyway lets move on and moan about this jackpot getting announced
there must be some way of finding out sooner than we are.
graham that is exactly what i think we need, rollover tommorow and wednesday then a doable card thursday or friday. we had a good go this month, 1 success a few other goes aswell which i didnt expect. 2 at most per month i thought we would get but we have had our fair share this month.

Looking ahead mind, the cards on Thurs, Fri and Sat are likely to be very tough too.

Sorry for my late response, I have been out getting trashed at golf by my son Gary. (He's probably as good at golf as he is at poker)
Believe it or not, I do try to have a life outside of Poker and the Jackpot Syndicate lol.
I will update the NAP's tables later tonight.
Meanwhile, do we know where the Jackpot is tomorrow?

It now shows as 2nd, if that was there all the time then my mistake, although I didn't see it before if it was.
Anyway the full word (Placed) will make it clearer.

G
I have amended the spreadsheets, they will be correct again as of tomorrow's posts.
