    I may do a Machka, I may not.  I will know Thursday evening if I can make it or not.  If I can I will:

    book a hotel Thursday night (for Fri and Sat nights)
    work in Bournemouth Friday
    driving up after work Friday evening
    play in whatever I can Fri, Sat and Sun
    drive home Sun night, Mon AM
    go to work 9am Monday
    drive home Monday evening
    SLEEP!

    WE STAND AS ONE!!!! (or in my case we rail as two...)

    Right, hotel just booked.  Britannia Notts, hope I know someone else who is staying there. ;-)

    Since my car has been acting a little temperamentally lately I've just got a years RAC membership as well, £5 quid for a whole years cover after cashback, bargain.  Hope I don't need it.

    Need to go and pack now.  Hopefully I'll leave work earlyish tomorrow and get to DTD in time for the SPT Satellite.

    Ahhhh mighty knights..It was an absolute pleasure to meet each and every one of you and a privilege to spend some time getting to know you! Honestly I couldn't have wished for a better team to rail and be railed by...individually and collectively we are brilliant!

    Along the way we have met some fantastic people...meeting my nemesis plopper (for his version see     here ) has been a pleasure and I salute you on your bullseye play sir...though I believe my accuracy was considerably better than yaws...lol

    deuces live was my first meet in dtd on Friday night and like myself had never played live..he railed my 3 horrific beats in the rebuy and in return I railed him through the main event and even supported him and maxxy though a 3am kebab munch fest...

    solarcarro & the lovely yorkie74plop are amazing people and I can’t wait to play live poker with you soon...thanks guys xx

    Fantastic team you have Maid Marion and was an absolute privelege to meet you.  Its actually a shame I was in the tournament so long as I missed a lot of the social side which is often better than the poker!
     
    Massive thank you for the railing you gave me and Sian alongside Dave the Deuce who I thought was player of the tournament.

    And to all the knights who gave me the best exit round of applause in the house I bow to your mightyness

    I may be Team Dohhhhhh, I may have had a star for the week but you guys were the STARS of the weekend

    Right where do i begin with this one!......

    Well thinking i would not make it in time due to some person being rather silly in Chesterfield and holding the train i was on up for nearly 45 minutes, i have to say it was without doubt one of the most enjoyable weekends i have ever been on (Playing for over £600,000+ on the TV 7 years ago down in London was a life changing and enjoyable weekend which was totally amazing but this weekend at Nottingham was a bit special!)

    I seriously from the bottom of my heart cannot thank you all enough for all the warmth,kindness and serious good spirit that was shown to me by you all (You know who you are!) and without going into much detail, no one probably realises how much that meant to me because even though i may not have ever shown it, i have always been a very shy individual from when i was little and it has affected me in the fact that i could be perceiving to people that i come across as quite ignorant or cold but i just get very nervous and worried of how people react to me. I mean for those who do not know i will be amongst the new batch of "My Name is" segments on Sky Poker and i am dreading them coming on channel 865!.

    I was very lucky to have got 42nd out of a top quality field of 267 and yeah i will admit i was gutted not to have cashed or better still win the whole thing but i have to be proud of the fact that i grinded hard and my exit hand like Dave (SolarCarro) said to me it was the "try to win the tournament" hand i went all-in with and it was not to be but i gave it my best shot and maybe i put too much on myself to achieve high and not be realistic enough. I had a good 2 hour walk around Nottingham to clear my head before i jumped into a taxi for DTD on Day 2 and i kept saying to myself that if i did not win it then i sooooooooooooooooooooo hope and pray either Dave or Sian do the business and both Dave and Sian you want to be soooooooo proud of the superb efforts you put in because that was both phenominal performances in my estimation.

    Overall everyone of you are quite simply legendary and i would like to possibly build our friendships even stronger and hopefully you all feel the same perhaps and once again many many thanks for such a superb weekend and ill see you all at future SPT Events somewhere down the line.

    Well i was Last Knight Standing at SPT Nottingham and tonight i am First Knight in at SPT Blackpool!!!!

    What an absolute scrap it was but yet again at the first time of asking i qualify for an SPT event and bring on October thats what i say!!

    I have to say also it was one of the most enjoyable nights of Poker i have ever had which was full of friendly banter and good spirit which is what poker should be all about and some great peeps that played in the Satelitte including SolarCarro, Mogsy 1957, Jamielou, David36, DAVEYZZ and many more and if i have forgot to mention ur name then i apologise!!.

    SIR CT IS IN AT BLACKPOOL, ITS A CASE OF WHO'S NEXT?!!!

    I'm over the moon i have qualified for SPT Blackpool but the mood i am in with this bad run online, i'm really feeling like venturing into Moany Moaner Moanersville until i take down another 8pm'er or i get a serious big cash in one of these MTT's because i've been on the end of another sick bad beat in the £4k rebuy Open (Seriously that tourney can go where the sun dont shine for me cause i aint playing in it ever again!).

    I don't mind a couple of days worth of bad beats that i can take but this has gone on for weeks and i really do not want to stop playing but the poker gods are being complete barstewards with me at the minute and it is becoming a complete joke to the point i might have to take a little break away from the tables!!

    C'mon fellow Knightsploppers i dont want to be the only Knightplop at SPT Blackpool and it would be perfick for more than one Knightplop to be on that final table!!.......

    Well I tried tonight, the satellite, no success, the semi, no success. I will try again.

    I've been looking for travel and accommodation. 

    From Southampton the train journey is between 5 and 7 hours depending on when I catch it.

    Accommodation looks like a bargain, all B&Bs about 150 metres from the g-casino look pretty decent.

    I'd say I'm 99% sure I'm going.

    I'm gonna have one more MTT tonight and if i dont cash in it big then i am going to have no choice but to have a break from here because this bad run is really testing my patience somewhat but ill probably in the Primo on Sunday if i can sat'lite my way through it but then probably after that it will be a case of winding up members of a certain other forum (Not Poker related bearing in mind!) that i belong to for a bit.
