    Call it Sleepstack but change the "e's" for the amount.......

    eg £3 deepstack advertised as Sl£3pstack
        £5 deepstackadvertised as Sl£5pstack

    well if the play the presenters agree to play every night could either be:-

    "PTP Deepstack"

    or named after whoever the PTP is that night

    "Orford's Deepstack"

    "Michelle's Deepstack" (lol)

    "Trev's Deepstack"

    etc

    Two little probs there......

    1) PTP does not take place at Weekends, so there'd be a problem naming the Saturday & Sunday jobbies.

    2) If one is named "The Orford" I';m gonna throw a strop. A serious strop.

    Thank Bernie, not me.

    I was just lobbying as a Player. I'm as pleased as you guys, trust me.

    We hear all this "Sky only do fast Tourneys" stuff, but the balance is getting better, & I'm delighted.

    But now comes the clever bit - to make sure they get worthwhile fields!

    The Mick Jenn, Spartacus & Tikay Deepies already do, but we do need to pull together to make these work.

    Oh, I will - you can be sure of that!

    At present, I'm on a 6 week Live Show shift pattern which means I gotta work the next 3 or 4 Saturdays, & currently, I do "In-Poker", on location, every Sunday. But I'll play Saturdays & Sundays whenever the Diary permits. Guaranteed.

    i think u have ur answer tk and its a big big yes from me .........buy ins must b taken into account not all can afford the high stakes £5 up to £10 is fine by me but i would play if it £3 like i think most would.....gl with ur quest m8

    I've just spoken to Sky-Bernie.

    Two extra bits of Info,.........one good, one not so good.

    Not so good. The "Tourney Titles" can only be a MAXIMUM of 18 characters long, including spaces. (So "Rich Orford Deepstack" ( = 4+1+6+1+9=21) is TOO LONG). So, a maximum of 18 Characters, including spaces, please.

    Good.

    The "Sky Super Seven" will start NEXT WEEK!

    Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday are already set up (Spartacus, Mick Jenn & tikay respectively), so the new Tourneys will start from Thursday (20th August) of next week.

    The Reg Fees will be £10 + £1, £5 + £0.50, & £3 + £0.30.

    So that's it, we are up & running.

    Hi Greg,

    Hope you are well.

    As far as I am aware, the Prize Pools will NOT be Guaranteed, & personally, I hope they are not.

    If players want these Tourneys, then a Guarantee is not necessary. We are playing to have a little fun, that's the idea.

    If Sky Poker have to put up a Guarantee, & players decide not to support the Tourney, Sky Poker will reduce, or drop, the Guarantee. They'd have to, it would make no sense to subsidise Tourney Overlays most nights, & so they would end up pulling the Tourneys, simply because they were forking out the Overlay. And then we'd lose "our" Tourneys.......

    Without a Guarantee, they have absolutely no excuse not to offer up these Tourneys. Which were what we wanted, & as far as I recall, nobody said they needed to be Guaranteed.

    If Sky Poker were owned by me......(lol, gawd help you all) I'd let these Tourneys "float" for a few weeks, & see how they go, before making any radical changes. Once it gets to late September, & darker nights, I reckon they will get very good fields.

    Sky Comm Deepstack = 18 characters for the £5

    Michelles Bigstack = 18 characters for the £10

                re earlier tourney naming entry & keeping in mind the character limit i've come up with this

    the main title would be the   N.P.T. then each week you could name them after different types of players for example

          1st week    £10  DaveyZZ NPT  /  £3  JIMBO31 NPT  /   £3  Mr m bro NPT   ETC...

           N.P.T Stands for New Poker Tourney's
