Bit of a disaster. If you want to know why watch Mastercash tonight, where I ran pretty poorly and lost to Kingzola big time in acouple of unlucky hands. Thats it for a week as I am off skiing tomorrow for the week. See you all next Sunday night.
They say a rest is as good as a break and if this is the result I will have to take more breaks. First session back after a week skiing and I win £52 in a couple of hours. Ran like a god mind you and bcame up against a couple of pretty poor players who seemed intent on donating to the Trebor fund.
Got owned by a complete fish. Knew my card run had to end, but burnt in style, below are some of the hands I lost to this fish. Good thing was that despite my little rant on here I never really went on tilt at the table and probably would have done 3 months ago. Does make you wonder why we bother though.
These were just 2 of the hands but this fella was sat to my right and was playing soooooo loose and I seemed to get into hands with him where I was holding a premium hand and just kept missimg the flop and he would bet over the pot or put me all in and I was just unable to connect against him. Hate it when this happens as I know I am better player than him but never got the opportunity to take advantage. At least I can hunt him out in future, probably when he has gone bust and playing 2nl. Rant over and move on.
Yes, I am back again. You can't keep a good dog down, so they say. Been doing a bit of bonus whor ing elsewhere and I am now back to my old favourite. Played OK but lost a big chunk on hand below. Looking back was probably too aggressive and put myself in a bad position. Going forward need to start believing people have a hand.
This is why I love Skypoker. There must be more loose players at Sky than any other site I've played at. I must remember to only play in position and value bet, value bet.
Played a quick 1 hour session before work and played ok. Only one major error, see hand below. Any advices on how I could have played it better. Always seemed to have the value to call at each stage. Should I have laid it down on the turn after the original raiser. Thought he might be having a stab at the pot.
Tried to bluff a player off a hand and got called down on all 3 streets with him holding K,10 on a K high flop and him not improving. Must remeber not to bluff all and sundry at this level.
Played 2 MTT's £20 Bounty Hunter at 8pm. Lasted approx 1 hour and finished mid-field. Never really got going after doubling up early and lost a couple of races which meant I had to start shoving.
Played £10 ARL deepstack at 7.30pm. Have to stay enjoyed structure and tourney as awhole. Finished just short of money in 13th. Below is hand I went out on. Comments appreciated. Looking back should have probably shoved but expected villain to either fold or shove. Would have been happy with either as I would have quite happily called the shove. Would welcome comments on this thinking.
Just played for approx 3 hours for a profit of 9p. WOW.
Funny but I was 2 tabling and won about £60 on one and lost about £60 on other. Starnge how often this happens. Anyway, having a break for a few hours, but will be back later.
Bad night, entered £22 open at 8pm and again fell short of cashing finishing 46th. Really do believe I have the game for these MTT's but not getting results to prove it. Lost £28 on cash tables, lesson to be learnt, don't try watching football whilst playing 1 MTT and 2 cash tables, I am not good enough. As my 3 tips (X,Y and X) says under Y. Y is for yesterday, today could be the day. See you tomorrow.
Entered £1.5k BH at 9.30pm and finished 43rd and took out 1 opponent for net loss of £7.25. Won £20 playing on one cash table at same time. Thank god for cash.
One of those sessions where you just play your A game and the cards keep coming. If only everyday was like this. It's funny how sometimes you are just in the zone and then other days you are not. Did nothing different today than yesterday when I won 9p in 3 hours but somehow it just felt different. Its a strange world.

Thats poker. Some day you cant lose :-), and some you cant win :-(
My 2nd best day since I started this thread with a total win of £177.85, just behind my best day of £178.53 on Dec17th. Also now puts my BR at its highest position since thread started. One alteration I have made recently, and think it is having a positive effect, is to up my standard open raise from 90p to £1.20, playing nl30. Seems to eliminate more of the rubbish hands that might come along for the ride and then hit on the flop and turn, also makes it easier to define the hands you are up against making my flop, turn and river play easier. Also means that when you bet out and take down the pot on the flop you are winning more money. Will continue with this. Just to let anyone know that maybe playing against me in the future this is my standard raise and it may be a premium hand, a speculative hand or the fact I think I can beat you on later streets even though I have rubbish. Don't want to give any of you an advantage. lol.
