The guys are playing with their own money, you cannot force or encourage then to throw their money about. The first show starts off slow as many poker games do. As the series plays out over the remaining weeks the pots gets larger and the poker is fantastic
Well I for one am looking forward to tonight's show. Poker games get better as people get stuck (harsh I know but true). GB ran like a wounded dog in the last one, on a personal note I'm hoping he encounters the upside of variance tonight (can't help it, like the guy). I'll be ITT for some real time discussion again if anyone would like to join me SkyClaire, is Carlo sitting tonight? Would like to know in advance to adjust my TV settings to counter his tan. Hi TommyD
Carlo makes his appearance in episode 6. I could be wrong but tonight is the battle between Channing and Redmond, we might see an appearance from Ian Frazer. Out in Vegas at the moment covering the WSOP, hence my 'might'
I just watched the repeat for the first one. Regarding Julian Thews short interview. Is that his real accent or some kind of dare. Each sentance seems to start with a west country twang then turns into Irish ???

Julian lived in Dublin until about 10 years old then moved to Nottingham so he's got a funny twang to his voice. He's just popped to the Venetian in Vegas to play a tournament but if I see him later I will get him to tell you more
10 minutes until episode three chaps and chapesses.
I've got a feeling it's going to take off tonight. The action has been decent but without many fireworks to date but with the 'feeling out' period behind us and some people falling behind in the game action is around the corner. And of course they started the filming in the morning I believe so we are now moving into the time of day when these players are normally awake.
Can Glitterbabe turn around the events of the last episode? Is Redmond going to slip it into gear again and charge into the field? Will Channing be stunned into silence?
Can't wait.
You know I used to go out drinking on Friday nights, then I got into a committed relationship......

Interesting that Neil went for the overbet V-Bet on the end, must have had Jackson on the ace. Bearing in mind how many draws missed should he have checked it across to hope Paul would make a play? Or was there no point and Paul was never having a stab at it.

I'd say Orford & Tikay need committing rather than being committed...
Jamie did the right thing to keep all the bluffs in by calling the turn IMO. Horror river for him and Reds bet exactly what he would have if he had the ace. Polarised but in a good way as Jamie very rarely has the ace there as played.

I encourage you to keep watching!
