    Three days without Poker! How did I cope? :)

    Back tonight for the Friday Orfordable


    I need to get my brain focused on my game. The mental side of poker can be torcher sometimes, we make so many mistakes without even realising it and it's so easy to blame it on bad beats rather than the way we played it.

    Optimal poker takes a lot of concentration & focus, something that has been lacking in my game over the last year, but hopefully we can put that right with a few minor adjustments to my game.

    Points of concern & Notes to self.....
    1. Calling even when I know I should fold.
    2. Not playing premium hands aggressively enough pre-flop
    3. Calling out of position.
    4. Getting involved with garbage hands when i'm on the BB
    5. Continuation betting (Not reading the signs)
    6. Continuation betting continued...(betting the correct amounts)
    7. Raising & Re-raising - Tendency to call it down rather than re-raising, which inevitably gets us into trouble.

    Those are areas of my game which require some attention and whilst I don't expect to get things right first time everytime, it will at least help to remind me over the coming months what needs to be improved.

    I will be doing my best as usual.......although it seems to take a lot of run-good nowdays to get a good result in this on Mondays, but fingers crossed "Hopefully Tonight is the Night" (I haven't mentioned that to the missus yet :)

    Won £4 on the £1000 FR tonight then played cash lost a chunk got a lip on so was coming off the tables got dealt AA and got it AI v 1010 so won a chunk back.
