One thing I would say about your poker lifestyle though and it has to change if your to make a serious crack at making a steady living out of poker is the drinking. There's two aspects of this, firstly no doubt gives you the confidence to play your A game and you almost build up to a crescendo where you are playing to your full ability. Then the booze tips you over a ledge, and you have in the past spewed a lot of dosh at higher levels. Going from a stage where you dont want to play me (Lolaments) to taking on Lolraise in his own back yard is a bit extreme!
Also you dismiss cash for points saying you wish it didnt exist. If you play any sort of volume (which is required anyway to overcome variance), c4p helps overcome downward variance but that goes hand in hand with playing pretty much every day sober and building up a decent stash. A good player should expect to win 8bb per 100 hands at nl30, or around 5bb per hour if youre playing 60 hands. That works out at £9 per hour. To make £2k (without taking variance into account) you are talking about playing 220 hours or 55 per week. Thats some serious drinking! But playing that amount would give you over 20k points which is pretty much another grand !
I have no doubt you can crush nl30, but this game is about volume, volume and volume in the longer run.
I've just played my first comp of the day, the £3.80 sat in to the 5pm £33 freezeout again.
Managed to get there, after an epic bubble.
I was comfortable, and made a wreckless jam against an ultra tight player, which left me with 4k chips against 2x 20k stacks.
I managed to spin it back up to even stacks, then this happened.......
I was mentally fist pumping when I saw them get it in pre, I'd qualified!!!!

I bet the dym players that read this diary can relate to this, they probably see it loads and have become immune! lol.
Anyway, a buy in up after the first game again. I just have to decide wether or not to play the comp or take the money.
I really should play, but a buy in seems so much to spend on an MTT! (especially when you aren't very good at them)
Will prob nit it up, play a few more sats/speed tournys, then DTD tonight.

Erm... I take it you aint friends with anyone else on Sky? Best thing to do might be search for Doh because there can't be many people on FB called 'Doh Dohh' lol and then I'll be on his friends list.

Think I was on tilt all night after the sat run bad about 6ish.
