After over 4 years on Sky having to leave the site for 90% of my play

I got 6k points in april, 4 last month and so far 9 this month...

I stopped playing because of sky software losing me money

With things connected to your router, PC, laptop, xbox etc... you can put a "priority" order I think?

Would this be possible to do with individual programs such as sky poker and stars? If so it would be a great test to give sky the priority over stars and see if the connection differences between them remain.

I have phoned the priorty guys and blown my top and then thread reopened and still I got no call.

Maybe the mod can point out to me where in this posting I broke comunity rules to have the thread closed I would have asked that question private but that would have meant someone calling.

I do want to say that the responses you all put was not only meant a lot to me there were only very sensible responses.

The reason why Sky is people are realy that concerened they think so much of this site they are trying to help you not to distroy the site.

Look at me I must be mad to even be still playing here even for a few games but I belive in it and I waited months before I did this posting giving Sky the respect to sort these problems because I dont want to do this posting for a product I support, but the way I have been treated today is unreal and shows a lack of mutal respect back.

Does this today not highlight the problems and maybe time for there to be a bridge between sky and the players ie a players rep so we can communicate as we cant as it shows do at the moment?

We genuinely dont know how it happened Rab. When it was noticed, it was reopened.

If we had wanted it closed, we would close it. We don't so it remains open.

I know i started this and had decided not to be adding to any posts but I have had no choice.

Sky you have just given another example of poor communication with us.

Look I call priorty go mad and very unlucky sky if the timing clashed but within 5 min of my call the thread is reopened so my thoughts are someone decided a wrong decision had been made.

So please dont post you dont know why it was closed just makes it worse. Dont forget a high majority of players attracted to the game are of decent to above iq and these reply are what I am talking about.

Likewise Sky response to young gun this is not a thread about connection problems please reread my first post. The connection problems are part of the communication problems that lead to my posting.

I will be upfront the way this has been delbt with today has pushed me to my limits but I know this is a Sunday and things maybe are at there most streached and I would urge the managment of sky in the morning to put this in your meeting and lets discuss how you can move forward with your players.

I hate this community and my team as if it wasnt for you lot I would have just left but its you lot making me try and resolve this hate you so much more work trying to stay then leave lol

I agree Mr Burns that communication is one of the problems that require addressing.  I did start a post a few days ago concerning this.

with the greatest of respect i have had to use "customer care" again for the second time today and the knowledge of poker and the software they supposedly support is close to nil

i already play mainly elsewere but enjoy the forum, tv shows and some of the games here

having to explain to somebody at customer care what a dym is very very tiresome, even more so when ten minutes they still think you are complaining about a casino game

completely agree with mrburns and all the other sky players who front issues daily with disconnection problems and poor communication with sky.
I actually started a thread the other day which basically said the same as mr burns, commenting on the disconnection problems and loss of time/chips it causes. I canhonestly say ive never had the problems with other sites that i have had with sky and its for this reason also that i will be playing pastures old and new and will not return to sky in the immediate future.
As Burns has already stated, its nothing to do with winning or losing but about having confidence in the site your playing. i get disconnected so often its embarrasing quite frankly and often lose important pots/chips because of it.
I cant play at a site like this that cannot be trusted to hold a connection. And before i get directed to Skys list of options about the "Best ways to connect, an idiots guide" i connect to all poker sites the same way, hard wired so it definitely not my end.
Im not looking for a response from sky here either as my minds made up. Also, i have to admit, i have enjoyed my experiences with most sky players and also the banter a community brings. There are some good guys/girls on here and sky would do well to have a serious rethink about their current site format and issues surrounding these very annoying and unprofitable problems that keep re-occuring.

Personally i think you have been given fair "constructive criticism" by a fair few on this thread.

Instead of threatening the forum posters with closure or deletion of posts i think you would do well to take a step back and listen to these players before more end up getting tired of disconnections duriong hands and freezing tournaments etc........
