i just had a bad session aswell 1 of them where i played well but dnt matter what ya do ya c -bets get raised when u missed the flop getting sucked out on the river etc a session to forget
Hate them sessions where it feels like everyone can see your cards. Like everytime you open w/ AA, snap folds, everytime you open KJo you get 3bet. Everytime you c-bet with the goods, snap folds, every time you c-bet a missed flop, you get clicked back. Not losing any big pots, but just a 15xBB top every 5 mins... very quickly adds up.
chin up don I just had a stinking 2hours today on the tables. also.
No played cash for a couple of days so was looking forward get back into it and lost 5 bi`s through playing awful at times and getting it in vs draws and them gettin there every time today lol so i`m done for tonight and prob come back on tomorrow when I feel i`m in the right mindest to play again.
maybe you should drop down to 8/10nl to build your roll back and also get confidence back by gettin a few winning sessions under your belt.
Seeing as you 4 guys have all been on a bad run lately . . . . . . . . . Fancy a game ? Keep the chin up guys, you know its gotta happen and will soon swing back your way Good luck Posted by _ARAZI_
I wasn`t moanin either like idcu says one of they days but i think could have had a break even day if I stopped the fancy poker syndrome lol but yeah m8 i would fancy a little forum cash/stt if any1 fancies it?
No change on baby situation as of yet, just a waiting game at the moment. With my lack of ability to sleep i spent alot of the night playing the xbox. Nothing major.
However i was craving poker. The other night on the small session i lost around £6 only one major hand KQ v AA(slowplayed) on a Q high flop. 50BB stack happy with the hand.
I decided to 2 table this morning, Gave myself a 2 buyin and stand rule and that will mean i have to drop to NL10, (220 left if that happened). In the end i stood at 1.5Bins, (i lost 2 but won 1 and lost a few small pots) I will post up some hands. Im very happy to have only lost a bin and a half.
As many of you (my facebook friends) will know the baby has now been born. There was some complications during birth meaning it was long and painful - not a normal long and painful first birth before anyone says. In the end the doctors has to do their bit.
Baby is still under monitoring and did spend the first few hours of his life in Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU). Although he is now happy with mum in the maternity ward, even though he has a very sore, swollen and bruised head. But that's to be expected under the circumstances.
I know Mel is thankful for everything, shes still stunned at the bunch of flowers the lovely people of TKP ordered. I will get a picture of this ASAP, they arrived during visiting time and I left after that to allow Mel some rest. She needs it.
Hand 1 - Cbet bigger, bet the turn much bigger, river is ok but I might go a bit bigger here too as we can't expect to be beat too often and so many hands pay us off.
Hand 2 - Probably go a bit bigger on the turn, but otherwise fine.
Hand 3 - staaandard
Hand 4 - staaandard too
P.S. Congrats again on your firstborn, you now have an heir to the Don throne. Any reason why you aint mentioned the sex or a name, if you don't mind me asking?

My post was kind of rushed as I cooked my tea, going back to hosp soon just waiting on confirmation of a lift.
For those wondering, the baby was born a 1.46 am on 17th of April 2013, weighing 9pounds 8.5 of the other thing, and he is 53cm long. He is male and is called Donald Gordon Campbell.
So both mum and baby are home now, baby is fully on the meand. We have to take him in for another head scan, and ontop of that we have to take him back in for them to look at his hip as he has an issue there. Although he's now looking much better.
Firstly thank you all for your kind messages, on sky, on facebook and some via text. I know it means alot to me and to mel.
So back to some poker today. The pc i ordered last week also arrived, during lifts to and from the hospital i got a lift from the friend who built it on mates rates, it got dropped off then.
I decided to give it a test to where i know my brain was. I asked a friend to load a joinme link, he didnt even watch but was obviously running so taking up computer usage. i had skype open in a group chat, and had 6 tables. If my brain, hands and eyes where fast enough i could still have reacted to much much more on this pc. a Huge improvement from the tilting at lag on the previous machine.
The session its self went really well. I have to admit i was really comfortable playing and it showed. I made a few mistakes, not going to lie, but went well.
I started strongly, then had a rough patch, however my aggression seemed to annoy so many people, the amount of very very light 3b/4bs i was being faced with was lovely. Not something you see every day. Although i must say i enjoyed it. One resulted in a huge cooler i was on the right end of, he 3b 45o i called with 22. flop 245r.
Bankroll: £236.67 (First winning session for a while)
Had a really fun early morning hour on NL10. Have to admit disappointed with the result, but a huge number of redic crazy hands.
Wont name names, but i know one person who probably got into the most crazy hands with me has posted in here a few times so may admit to it.
Anyones one pretty mental hand early on where i got A9 v AT into a 4b pot v a reg. It resulted in me losing a 400BB pot. - how did that happen.
I then ran AK into the same regs KK - obviously a massive cooler given previous hand. AK was actually a horrible hand for me last night, i had a weird pot with AK v 9T. The reg from above hands opened the button. SB peeled i 3b my AKs. Reg folds SB peels, pot is now £2.70 and he has £5.10 back. flop 9TQ with 2 clubs, giving me 2 overs, NFD and a gutshot. He donk shoves and holds.
Another hand later seen me 3bet AK again. Then folding on river on a board of KQxQA.
hey m8 no read your thread for a few days like to leave it for a bit then read a few posts congrats to you and the mrs on the baby news.
also I don`t mind you mentioning me regarding those hands I just ran really well vs you last night.Just usually when we get into 3/4bet pots with not so strong holdings just last night most time I was 3/4betting I had the goods this time which was awesome due to some history lol.
but win or lose I like playing you because it`s fun and you are not a nit gl at tables.

You are always brilliant about this place mate, on the forum and helping others out.
I know sometimes poker can be sh *t, the downs are always the worst part, get a bad beat, it's a terrible game and all that.
Your bad day, will soon be dealt with by good days. Keep the chin up mate, and good luck
